Alas, guys, I have another lucid dream, that lasted more than a minute
Here goes.
The dream started with me hashing with a bunch people. It was a short hash, jungle and dirt, etc. When I finished it, I straight away went to my dad's truck to get a shower. Part way after I took off my shirt, I don't know what, I think it was voice, but it told me to look around, and when I did, turns out, I was on the top bunk, in my bed room, along with the truck, so I quickly rub my hands, knowing it was a dream. I got my cloths on and jumped off the bunk. Then I thought of summoning someone. Not gonna tell who I tried to summon first, as it is personal, but I stopped part way on it as I had a strange feeling on my chest, so I tried to summon Oney(my sub). I said he would be down stairs because I felt it would work better that way. When I open to get out, there was gang waiting outside, what do I do. Ironically, I pulled mosquito spray and got into action, spraying them to death. Then dream ended.
At least it was content.
I remember vaguely a dream about some houses in a sunny day modern park, and I ended up getting chased and jumping through some railings and I think it was somebody I know but I can't remember who who was chasing me. Parkour style.
why the fuck do you keep trying to divide up the OP
I'm writing it, good god
Your OP's suck, look at this abomination.
I'm really sorry to everyone reading, but I'm not really going to be checking back here too much. Hit me up on Steam if you have questions or crazy dreams no one else can interpret. Join the Steam group or something.
School's just becoming a pain already, I don't have much time to check FP between clubs and girls. Also schoolwork. And Minecraft.
Jake's more than capable of answering questions, and he's already written up an OP which is better than the one I attempted to write anyway. Just listen to him, I'm taking a backseat in this thread.
Sorry. :smith:
I vote for Orkel to write OP.

Nope.
I added that 11 year old troll to my ignore list.
Problem solved.

You should have seen the previous OP's zinayzen wrote. Around 3000 words or something.
K guys, for dinner I had half a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch, a slice of buttered bread having cinnamon and sugar sprinkled over it then toasted. and I just brushed my teeth with cinnamon toothpaste and I'm going to go to sleep.
I'll post my cinnamon tripped dream when I wake up.
(I live in Cambodia and cinnamon makes your dreams trippy as balls)
Just had a dream where I reverted back to my 6-year old self but with all my memories intact. I really wish I hadn't woken up now! Going around my old primary school showing up the teachers with my 17-year old brain and knowledge of the future... :D

From now on, my warm milk will have a topping of cinnamon :)
Good luck on the dream
I had a dream my mom slipped over on some ice or snow. I don't remember which. I also remember falling asleep for a few minutes at 7:00 (when I wake up most days) and then falling asleep at the same time in the dream and waking up at 23:59. I was like oh shit I've overslept then I woke up. I gave myself a headache comprehending what had taken place.
But at least I'm remembering now.

I had a dream today, but I forgot most of it.
All I remember was being King of something.
Can one of you guys recommend an alarm sound for WILD/FILD? My current alarm (beepbeepbeepbeep, beepbeepbeepbeep) doesn't wake me up enough.
You know what scares the crap outa me?
Asking my subconscious what my greatest fear is......
Let alone I wanna meet em
I had a dream last night that every major character from everywhere was fighting each other in a bloody indoor arena. And I mean everybody. From Mario to the Elric Brothers to Link. It was awesome.
Doc!
Hows it going man?
I was beginning to wonder if you were eaten.

really though, thread's been goin to shit recently.
not surprising.
Pretty good. hows things been with you?
Sorry to hear that about the thread. I just am almost completely unable to remember my dreams for a very long time. Lately I have started to meditate before bed, which is slowly helping my DR to the point where I can almost remember what theme my dreams were of. Slow progress. I miss coming in here every morning sharing dreams and such. :smith:

So, I didn't remember any of my dreams. But I woke up with my bed sheets off, my pillow across the room and my blanket wrapped around my feet. Maybe to much cinnamon.

That's some trippy stuff there.
I gotta try some of that.
Last night I tried lucid dreaming again last night, using the wild technique. I eventually started to drift in and out of consciousness, blah blah typical stuff. Then I remember playing one of those arcade games you get at bowling alleys and movie theaters. I started looking at the screen for some reason, and then the music started skipping and I felt myself kind of being drawn in to the game - kind of the feeling you get going down a steep water slide. Unfortunately I got excited for some reason and woke up. Could it have possibly been I got to the entering the dream state, then I got too excited?
Yay, my second LD : )
This is the second and most vivid of my two lucid dreams.
(Taken directly from my dream journal, excuse the bad grammar)
I am in Walmart walking down an aisle, when I see a roll of paper towels. Some reason, it just clicks and I feel that I am dreaming. Or, I think I tried to levitate a stack of paper towels, and it didn't work, so I realized that I'm LD. So I decided to rub my hand. I am happy that I realized I'm dreaming. :) I decide to look for a hot girl to do something with. Finding one, I tried to do something naughty, but it wouldn't work out. I kept noticing that I was catching the attention of all the people's attention in my dream. I decided to quit and do something else. During this time, I kept saying to myself, "This is just a dream" and I rubbed my hands. I walked towards one side of Walmart, (left side) but noticed that a person who's entire body and clothes is grayish sepia colored was following me. (I felt a bad vibe from him) I kept walking a bit, then I quickly spun around and slammed both hands into his stomach/chest area. A force field blast thingy exploded in front of me and he flew off. (Kind of like Push-Movie) So excited now, I know I used a special power in my dream. I turned right at an aisle, and rubbed my hand and reminded myself this is a dream, mentally. I have a faint thought to call out and find my subconscious, but I decided not to. Partially because I wanted to have fun in my first LD (first vivid one, and fully controllable), and because I was a little scared of who it might be. As I continue walking, my little brother comes out and says something, but next thing I know, I'm in 3rd person viewer, watching a piece of wood. After a few seconds later, I snap out and remind myself mentally that this is a dream, I'm back in Walmart, and I rub my hand. I kept walking (Fuzzy part, forgot what happens)
There was this thought in my head that I could just walk through this guy and his cart basket. I looked at this guying pushing a basket and walked directly towards him, I repeated to myself, this is a dream. I repeated to myself, this is just a dream, this is just a dream. I walked right through him. Excited now! I keep walking, and I feel like I just have to go through all these aisles to get to this "Dark Library" I think. I run towards the back of Walmart and zoomed through all of the aisles, accidentally running right through the library, going towards the back. I glimpsed that the library was pitch black. I'm inside a wall, and again, I'm just staring at a wall. I snap out of it, and back pedalled out of the wall. I'm inside the dark library. I zoom up towards the ceiling almost 40-60 foot tall, and I'm at the top of shelves of books, still pitch black. (- Autopilot, I forgot I was LD, and started to watch dream- I suddenly felt an extreme fear. I knew and felt that this guy, library guardian was coming. I felt that he was halfway in the library, even though you couldn't see anything. I already knew he was halfway in the library, even though you couldn't see anything. I already knew he was dressed in nothing but grayish sepia. I flew instantly towards the entrance, still at the top on the pillars. He calls out to me, and say, "Your not suppose to be in here!" I quickly fly out, scared. And I'm instantly in the main Walmart area I was in at first. (I'm back in control) I asked a charactyer of my little brother if he was real. I forgot what he said, but I asked again. This time, he turned to a grayish septia color and said his name was "bunch of numbers and letters" <--(Actual #s and letters), I forgot what they were. The scene changes, and I lose my LD.
This was the best experience ever :) My first vivid lucid dream. At first, I thought that the sleep and dreams megathread was full of bs, but having my first LD was amazing! I have a few questions though.
I know this question was probably touched upon before, but why did some characters in my dream have no color, or drain their colors.
Why wasn't I allowed in the library.
And why was I cock blocked by those people in Walmart >.>
Was it wrong not to try to contact my subconscious even though I was aware I could have attempted.
Should I try to contact my subconscious.
And what should I do if I can't lucid dream for the next month?
If you want, I can post my first LD, it was amazing, but I didn't have control more than 60%.
My second dream, posted above I had 87% control.

Just assume your questions are numbered, it's easier to answer them then:
1. Details are sometimes lost in dreams simply because when you're lucid, your attention can be directed elsewhere, so you work less in constructing parts of your dream world. My first proper lucid since lurking around on the thread consisted of my realising it was a dream and walking out of the shop I was in. Outside, beyond the immediate surroundings, there was just nothingness because I was too busy concentrating on being lucid.
2. The library could be meaningless. Or it could be really symbolic. I guess it depends on how seriously you take dream symbology and things. Libraries store information and contain history. In the same way, your brain holds memories and its history - the library could symbolise your mind or your memories. That it was dark and your felt fear perhaps means that you'd accidently given yourself potential access to bad memories, or could be potentially faced with your fears. In that case, the librarian/guardian person was probably an embodiment of your subconscious keeping you out of trouble and you're not ready to face that yet.
3. You were probably cock-blocked by your own morality. You knew you were dreaming, but obviously you carry through your basic behaviours if your lucidity is strong. You knew that potentially you COULD get with the hot girl, but because you probably wouldn't do this in real life in that situation, you mentally prevented yourself from doing in there. I think this just takes practise in being able to overcome this.
4. Of course not, it's up to you whether you want to contact your subconscious. Besides, all you'd be doing then would be calling up a physical embodiment of it. In your dream, it's all around you and IS you, so it's not like you've really excluded it in any way.
5. It's an interesting thing to do, even if just to see how it establishes itself. Adds a little bit to your identity to see other ways you can appear. It might also be interesting to talk with him/her, and see if they'll talk with you about things.
6. Just keep trying. I've had no lucids for a few months now. I guess it's just keeping at it, getting RC's engrained into your habits, paying attention to dreamsigns and keeping it as a very present thing in your life so it's more likely to transfer into the dream world.
Hope this helps :)
I like sleeping
Hey guys can someone help me?
i'm trying to meet someone on my dream, from a movie (Anime Nuff' said) how do i do this? is this lucid dream?
I had some dream where I was out in the middle of nowhere with my friends or something, and it was REALLY DARK out for some reason, and than I was getting in some car to drive off and before I could get in some freaking wierd alien comes out of the dark and shoots me with some ray and like abducted me, it was so freaking scary I like woke up and nearly rolled onto the floor.
I had a dream where I was in a conference room with a bunch of people. It was like a debate style thing. Then this guys stood up and started talking loudly. It happened to be the nice mentally slow guy from a a movie I watched that night that was killed in the movie.
I haven't dumped any dreams on here for a long time, and last night was I think the best night I've ever had for the sheer amount of dreams, as well as the clarity. I clearly remember thoughts that ran through my mind during them. I hope this doesn't turn into a massive block of text:
We pulled up at a rocky sea front. The sky was overcast and, getting out the car, I saw that the sea was dark and there was a discarded tesco bag floating in the water. I think I must have had a vague dream-awareness during this part of the dream, because I then wondered if I'd see a body in the water, before quickly turning away from the water, because I didn't want to dream anything like that. I went up to a small house and we went inside, greeted by a cross between my great-great aunt and my great grandma - I realised this was slightly odd too, but didn't trigger lucidity.
Everyone suddenly left, and the house was suddenly huge - each room was square and white with pale wooden flooring and a door on each four walls. As everyone left, I realised that it would be hard to tell if everyone really had gone - they could easily hide. I then suddenly saw a brown-haired woman behind me in the next room, sat on the floor, just looking. I demanded to know what had happened, and she replied, "I went with the others, then just circled back round". I thought about putting locks on the doors. I went to walk away, and she followed, making me jump. At this point, I had suddenly become George from the tv show "Being Human". Freaking out, I grabbed a conveniently placed broken bottle and smashed it across the woman's face. As soon as she hit the floor, I flipped out and, then, watching from third person, I saw George nudge the woman a few times going "No no no no no..." Then he left the room by one door. In the meantime, I became him again, and the room had filled with people. Vampires sat nonplussed in random wooden chairs around the body and muttered about me. I quietly went back into the room on the kitchen side and did the washing up, listening in to their bitching. They quietened when they realised I was back. I then slowly went over to the side with the vampires, and started picking up little tiny circles of paper (like the offcuts from hole-punches) and put them back in the pot (they were knocked off when I hit the woman). I spoke to George's werewolf girlfriend in a series of weird growls.
I was then suddenly at college and walking down the stairs, me again, though I was still treated as if I was George. The woman was with me, but was now my age. She was talking to me, and I had memories of someone telling me that because me (George) had attacked her, now she was a werewolf too, and I had to break the news to her. I was unsure if the woman already knew - she hinted at it for a moment that she did, and I relaxed, then she mentioned that it was full moon tonight. What followed were probably the strongest sensations I've ever felt in a dream: really realistic violent shivering, general feelings of adrenaline/discomfort/general feeling not-right. I walked faster, and we got out of the staircase doors and I walked back across with her to the main foyer entrance, thinking that I'd have to get her with me and find somewhere we could transform without causing a massacre. Then she said that she only guessed it was full moon, and the shivering immediately went away - she was wrong, and my reaction was psychosomatic. I also realised that she was still unaware she was a werewolf.
We then were in the city shops, and we were both now on the run, and she knew what she was. She said we needed to steal things to sell and she stole a handbag and ran for it. I had to rendezvous with her along a different route. At this point the usual annoying dream things came into play and decided I shouldn't be able to move my one leg, so I had to drag myself up the street. Then, soon after, we met a guy that hunted vampires who practised knife-throwing in a tent in the garden, whose son thought he was bonkers. He had a waterpark in his back garden because he was a millionaire off the lottery.
Then I dreamed a Doctor Who episode. Then some random boring things happened and I woke up.
tl;dr (and I really don't blame you!) I had the most consecutive dreams I've ever had, and the most detailed I've had in a long time (which also had a rather epic plot).
Huh.
I thought this thread had finally died.
Its been suffering for long enough.
I had a dream i was playing gmod, but it was a real life version. My friend's were in it too, but when the server crashed we came on fp to complain to Garry, but it was the old version of fp. Good memories

Suffering? Really? I know there was that crap ten pages back with Geo, but that's blown over now, and it looked like this thing was getting back on track...
Urrrrggghhh I've been trying on and off to lucid dream since last year with no success. When I try to WILD, I can't fall asleep. When I try to MILD, I'll get a good streak of about 3 relatively vivid dreams and then it will stop for a while no matter what I do. Does anyone have any suggestions? I just got a whole bowl of bananas and plan on eating them all over the course of this weekend.
I should really start to get into this again.
