Fuck, I can't do this. I've tried music, I can't wake up from an alarm(I sleep through them, I have to train my body to wake up at the same time every day), and I tried wiggling my fingers. Anything else? :saddowns:
Huh. I thought this thread had finally died. Its been suffering for long enough.
Have a rainbow. Go to a bar and make some friends instead of saying everything sucks. It helps. [editline]16th January 2011[/editline] And I restarted my dream journal, I need suggestions for achievements.
I had a strange dream last night. Me and three other people were playing a card game. It was basically a simplified 4x game, set in medieval times. I think it could actually be good enough to be playable if I filled in some rules that weren't addressed in my dream.
Last night I had a dream that I went into a haunted library with the people from iCarly and they all got raped by ghosts. I've never even watched that show :v:
I recorded my first entry in the dream diary. 15th Janurary 2011. Awoke 7:15am. Did not achieve lucidity. Attempted Lucid dreaming by WILD induced method. Failed to do so and instead suffered a nightmare. I was in my room and it was dark but with some moonlight in through the curtains. A being slightly resembling my grandmother but possibly a demon of some sort came into the room and stood at the foot of my bed. Demon was coloured oily black (shiny a bit). A toddler being the same colour then came into the room and the one already present then firmly gripped the top of the head of the toddler and then twisted it around until it snapped and the toddler fell down dead. I forgot to look at the pen mark on my hand to tell if I was dreaming or not. I then remember looking from a birds eye view down a spiral staircase and some similar demon being fall through them like a weighted ghost. I remember looking underneath the bed and seeing a cardboard box. On the box was a picture of Bob Ross and him advertising some sort of eletronic device. The design of the box and the electronic item resembled something from the 1970s. From what I wrote down that puzzles me. "No Man could look at this box without getting scared". After this something told me or got me to look at my left foot. Something then pointed with a finger to these several areas of skin which had worn away a little as if the thick skin had been thinned. After this I awoke and looked at my foot I saw no such thing on my left foot but it looked quite close to my right foot. I then wrote this down and after I had finished writing and various other things in a period of 20 minutes and retired one more to bed at around 7:40am I was still disturbed by the nightmare. I wish to ask you fine people the following two questions. What the hell does the above mean, How do I remember to look at my hand?
Had the second mind-blowingly awesome, very LONG dream in two days! Wasn't quite as fluid as the first - the transitions between dream scenarios were more fragmented and jumped back and fourth a bit, dream characters switched around a lot more (I was 3rd person, then I was the Doctor, then I was Amy, then I was 3rd person, then I was me, then the 11th Doctor was the 10th Doctor, then he was a pirate), which made it a bit of a headache to remember. It was rather awesome though. A collision of pirates, Doctor Who, Watchmen, my life and Shakespearean drama. The image of the 11th Doctor with a weird mask painted onto his face, hanging from the front of a flying pirate ship in pirate clothes and waving a sword will be emblazoned in my memory forever!
When I become lucid I'm going to do a round of real life space station 13.
Wow... Exhilarating experience last night. First I had about a two minute lucid. Me and this girl I really like were on the top floor of a building. I have no idea what I was thinking, I grab her and say something like "Let me show you something," then jump out the window. Of course, the impact woke me up. I was lucky though because it was only 2 in the morning. I got up and got a drink and got back in bed around 3 to do a WILD. For the first time I experienced that "heaviness" that you're supposed to get in SP. I thought it was cool, like an added bonus before I got a lucid dream. I realized I couldn't do a reality check if I couldn't move, and I also realized that if I couldn't move then I was probably still awake. It got very hard to breathe, and I couldn't talk. My ears started ringing and thumping, much louder than when I do WILDs. I didn't panic, but I was worried because this went on for about 5 minutes. I couldn't open my eyes and it felt like my chest was in my stomach. This feeling moved up to my head, and at this point I panicked. I was being smothered by my own mind... That's a scary thought. I broke free of this eventually, and decided to try and brave it again. All of the same things happened, but this pushing was pushing me further into sleep, and eventually I was dreaming. The whole time I didn't know whether I was awake or asleep, because I had no way to check.
I didn't remembered any of my dreams for the last few weeks, so I guess I'll try real hard to think and read about dreams before going to sleep tonight.
Hey guys can someone help me? i'm trying to meet someone on my dream, from a movie (Anime Nuff' said) how do i do this? is this lucid dream?
Sorry for late reply. You can meet who ever this female anime character it is that you want to meet, even in a non-lucid dream. You have a few options: 1) Drown yourself in the anime in which she features in. Addiction helps. 2) Creating a short nifty phrase regarding you meeting this character and repeat it as you go to sleep. Sugar and MSG helps. 3) Go lucid and feel that she's behind you. 4) Wake up 6 hours since you started sleeping and watch the anime, then go back to sleep. Make sure you watch it for 30 minutes at least. I hope it helps. [editline]17th January 2011[/editline] ITT: Everyone is seemingly ignored. As an extra, looking at your hands or pinching your nose is best and least weirdest RCs you can do in public.
Hey guys can someone help me? i'm trying to meet someone on my dream, from a movie (Anime Nuff' said) how do i do this? is this lucid dream?
It doesn't have to be lucid. If it's thought over and present in your mind for long enough, it will incorporate itself into your regular dreams. As Oblivious1 said, obsession really helps. I'm a somewhat exhaustive Doctor Who fan, and watch the episodes/read the books/generally talk about it a hell of a lot. As a result, I get a lot of epic dreams involving seeing him/being in a Who plot/being him/watching episodes of it I've dreamed up. It's rather awesome. If you want to meet this person, just do all you can to involve this anime and this person in your everyday life, and it will happen for you sooner or later.
Hey guys can someone help me? i'm trying to meet someone on my dream, from a movie (Anime Nuff' said) how do i do this? is this lucid dream?
I lol'd so hard reading that.... I also died a little.
Tried WILD last night.. It sorta worked, I remembered my entire dream (which never happens to me, by the way) but didn't realize I was dreaming. Going to try WILD again later tonight, but this time with the hope to be able to control my dream. Wish me luck!
I'm pleased. I went lucid last night, I believe. The dream was clearer than most, and I remembered it in full. I recognized I was dreaming and I promptly manipulated gravity, summoned a light disk from TRON, and threw people around telekinetically. At worst, it was one of those dreams that I dreamed of being lucid, but it did NOT feel like that. I distinctly remember recognizing I was dreaming and began fading, then promptly spun around and said I didn't want to leave it and I was going to stay. A few of the people made note that I was lucid dreaming before I started celebrating and trying to throw people around. Was quite nice, really. Though I don't mean that last bit in a sociopathic way. I'm just happy I finally got lucid.
I'll look into it if it'll make you feel better. Right now, gotta get some sleep.
Alright sounds good. Going to attempt lucid dream myself now.
I really hope I'll remember some of my dreams tonight, I love dreams, except bad ones obviously. Good night everyone!
Ugh, nope, after a weekend of the best dream recall I've ever had, it's back to sketchy half-dreams. It's frustrating how 2 hours difference in sleep and how you are woken up can make so much difference.
Better than my recall, I cant remember shit nowadays. Just enough to know that it was an awesome dream.
I don't remember any dreams from last night, usually I can recall at least one.
I think my REM spazzed out and now both periods jump around at random despite me going to sleep and waking up at the same times. I seem to have relatively clear dreamlets in the morning when I wake up, I often fall asleep and wake up over and over for about 5-10 minutes in the morning and that's when I have the clearest "dreams". Weird.
Hey guys, does this ever happen to you? 1) kinda wake up 2) OMFG I have no arm!!11 3) Stay calm... it's probably in a really awkard position and I just sat it off... 4) feel your arm with your other arm. 5) still can't find it. 6) DON'T PANIC!! 7) feel it from your neck downwards. 8) oh, it was under me the whole time. 9) Put it in a comfy position and wait for it to go live again. 10) Phew.
My ass fell asleep reading that ^
My ass fell asleep reading that ^
... the hell?
I had a dream that I was Sonic and I fought with Robotnick. Is there any deep meaning behind this? I'm beginning to worry.
I had a dream that I was Sonic and I fought with Robotnick. Is there any deep meaning behind this? I'm beginning to worry.
Yeah. Addiction. Sobotnik, I analyzed your dream, like a noob. Something happened to your grandma or something along the lines of your grandma. You freaked out in the dream, so thats probably why the toddler came in. The stairs is hard to explain. As for the electronics part, I can hardly explain. "No man can look at this box without getting scared" is also a bit confusing. As for the skin change, since you were still probably freaked out, you assumed something nasty happened before looking at it. I'm guessing someone in your family died? Box me if I'm wrong.
I had a dream once I had a 4 foot penis. Woke up and had had a case of "ghost tree trunk syndrome"
I should really start to get into this again.
I just started to pick it up recently.. but I haven't been able to remember any of my dreams.

One time I dreamt I was falling. I wake up, I'm shaking in the bed like I just landed there.
Thats actually quite normal. I have them too.
