I had a lucid dream a few minutes ago that I took some pill thing last night and I felt sore for two hours while I was asleep, then it went away. I went to school and then all of a sudden, some terrorist guys come and terrorize the school. While I was hiding in my first period class, I found an FN P90 in my backpack, I touched it and it flew out my backpack. The terrorist guys breach the door and the P90 guns them down by itself, everyone gives me strange looks. So then I went out of the class room and more terrorists show up, and then the P90 opens fire on them. I took cover and I pointed at a bad guy and then the P90 focuses all of it's fire on him. The P90's clip goes empty and then a another fully loaded clip appears next to, the previous one is ejected and the new one loads itself in. So then I point at one of the AK-74s the terrorists were using an then it flies to me and reloads itself. So then eventually all the terrorists were killed, but then one of them shows up in a tank. Some SWAT guy then showed up out of nowhere with an AT4 and fires at the tank, but misses, and the tank's main cannon blew him to smithereens. The AT4 was still intact, I pointed at it and it flies to me, and it somehow repairs itself to be ready to use again, and it fires at the tank and hits it in the main gun. Then the guns turn into little metal blocks and fly back into my backpack, which I was carrying the whole time. And then I was rewarded for my heroic efforts with everyone cheering for me. It was awesome.
What are you supposed to do for nap WILDs? Do you have to take a nap then WILD or can you do it without pre-sleep?
I wish he'd have continued, but all I can tell you is that 1: He took my advice, I know that. 2: Whatever happened next was too personal to continue writing about. 3: Problem solved for him, he's good now (I think).
Thanks for the reply Zin. Glad to hear he fixed his problem thanks to your advice.
Had a dream about the apocalypse. First, all the cough drops in the world disappeared. Next, every video game quit working. Then, people began turning into mushrooms. The only way to stop the mushrooms was to bury them in Little Debbie snack cakes. I had to escape to Iowa, because apparently if a mushroom crosses into Iowa they'd burst into flames. :v:
Can I use MILD or something to go into last night's dream? If so, how?
Anyone know of a way to induce sleep paralysis? Thanks
Anyone know of a way to induce sleep paralysis? Thanks
Here's a better question, why would you want to? It's fucking terrifying. I just had one last night, saw a black robed monk or something flicker towards my bed, his face was bone-white except for jet-black eyes and a scowl. And this little bastard keeps flickering towards my bed and I am screaming (in my head) "you have no power over me" to it. [editline]30th January 2011[/editline] And I've had this same thing happen to me before on multiple occasions.
Here's a better question, why would you want to? It's fucking terrifying.
So you can do a WILD? Also, keep your eyes closed. If you still can see stuff, your either inside a dream, or close to one, try to do a RC.
I had a dream about me as a little kid in my uncle's biker van driving down a freeway to a dream version of a town I grew up in. We went into a gas station and I found out he had the current highscore for space invaders there. Then he turned into a space invader and started flying around the gas station along with the rest of the highscores. Then I turned into a half human half garden hose superhero and put out the store when it caught on fire. Then something about a big window in the front of the store. [editline]31st January 2011[/editline] Honestly, I love random nonsense dreams like that. +10 points to whoever can make any sense out of this.
Tyler Durden
What's he got to do with this.
He was making a joke about putting a gun in your mouth and pulling the trigger and that sort of stuff.
I tend to have dreams that are a random mishmosh of certain interests, current events, and my friends.
Is it true that when you're in a lucid dream, and you look up in the sky, you "usually" see bunch of planets / colorful galaxies and so on?
I'm not sure if it was sleep paralysis or just my being half asleep, but when I woke up the other morning, I drifted right on the brink of sleep, keeping one eye open, but still sort of drifting. For quite a while I observed a wallaby sitting on my computer desk, but I looked round and it was gone. After that, I thought I saw a tall, pale white figure, which jolted me back into more of an awareness. Thing is, I was pretty sure that I could move, even though I was seeing that. I didn't realise you could get all hallucinatory without the paralysis bit.
Oh my god, just watched inception and now my mind feels soo molested.
Is it true that when you're in a lucid dream, and you look up in the sky, you "usually" see bunch of planets / colorful galaxies and so on?
I know when i had my first lucid dream i never saw any planets or galaxies, i only saw normal sky albeit, it was distorted.
Before I started reading this thread I always went to bed then suddenly it is day. Now that I look at this thread every now and again I can remember my dreams pretty well without having a banana or anything like that. :geno: Anyways I'm going to try lucid dreaming tonight since the last time I tried gave very disappointing results.
I went to sleep and had many fun events. (A nightmare included) Firstly I went to Paris and wandered around some canal basin in the city. I talked with various people in this basin, I think some people who looked like they were from Harry potter or something. I then went to a local cafe and here was possibly where I made my mistake of not going lucid, as it was a cafe that was nowhere near posh and I wondered how the hell did such a non-pretentious thing exist in France? I went inside and the people with me ordered their food. When it came to me I noted on the menu everything was priced in pound sterling and did not go above £9. I noted that for £3 I could order some fucked up French dish which was essentially just a list of uncommon metals. (Gold and lead being the two main ingredients) After eating I woke up at 6:20 and checked the watch to be 6:20:24. I went back to sleep and had another dream. In this one I remember going to a forum and into that was a thread about Empire earth 5 discussion, It then cut to a garden with 2 slides in it and a hot air balloon just above the slides. When I got to the slides I noted it had turned into a room similar to a gym. Me and some other kids then took turns sliding on the slides and my history teacher was at the top going on about some bullshit like "Teambuilding". I slid down the wrong way because this slide was really fucked up. It had 2 parallel slides and one was slightly shorter than the other, as one slide was for you and the second you rolled a snowball alongside down with you. After this I remember seeing a long vertical water tank and out came a crazed girl who proceeded to brutally fuck up some kid and slash him and shit and violently attack him. Turned out she had been locked there for 16 years and came out to seek revenge or something. So next everything calmed down for a while and I went to bed in that dream. The bed was next to the slides but then when I got in from my point of view it suddenly turned to resemble my own bedroom. I then heard some sounds or something and remembered the crazed girl. I also remember that she was Russian and also French, the two kinds of people I don't like and this made me worry further. I then went to the bathroom in the dream and I remembered the look in a mirror lucid dream thing. So I looked in the mirror and became so fucking scared I suddenly awoke in my bed fully dressed in school uniform in a state of panic. I then wrote this story. I puzzled.
Is it true that when you're in a lucid dream, and you look up in the sky, you "usually" see bunch of planets / colorful galaxies and so on?
Depends on not only your general creativity but how well your brain's paying attention. If you basically just say "hey, i'm going to sit here and watch this", then your brain will be like OH OKAY and then make the sky fucking amazing. Orkel will agree with me on this (or would if he still posted :<), I've had dreams where I just watch the sky. You can see galaxies form and destroy and everything. It's awesome. Haven't had many dreams recently, but when I do they're longer storylines. It's interesting.

Oh dear, on the second day of me trying to LD I had one of my reoccurring nightmares that I haven't had for years. This is a little discouraging
So guys, I'm having problems with sleeping since a few days. Any tricks to get yourself tired or making it more easy to fall asleep?

I woke up today with an awesome shit dream in my head. I was gonna write it down but then my mom came down and told me school was out for the day. I went back to sleep until noon and now I cant remember it :smith:
2 days ago I woke up, and had a very clear memory of the dream I had that night. My dream journal is right next to my bed, albeit a little hidden (since I have to share a room with my brother). So anyway, I woke up with the dream in my head, ready to right it down, but he was up already, playing a game or some shit. I didn't want to write it down because I didn't want him to think I was weird or anything. It sucks because I forget what the dream was now.
HOLY FUCK SLEEP IS INCREDIBLE Also, dreams. Mostly video games... yesterday I had one about a bunch of stuff in Paper Mario that never happened, today about a co-op zombie shooter in the style of Gears of War... after a horrific fail, I tried changing my loadout, but I felt bad about making my cousin wait... oh, my cousins were there. Oh, and the standard one about being in a car where we're driving on a road that has absolutely no guard rails, shoulder, or other things to prevent falling into the easily hundred-foot ravine and exploding. And it was an on-ramp, so it had unusually sharp turns. And it was covered in ice. God, driving freaks me out...
Is it true that when you're in a lucid dream, and you look up in the sky, you "usually" see bunch of planets / colorful galaxies and so on?
For me it has been a view like that every time and honestly, it is amazing and scary at the same time. I dont really know why I freak out when I look up in dreams.
Is it possible to have an alternate life inside a dream. Like if you create a separate world and live in it whilst you are sleeping.
Is it possible to have an alternate life inside a dream. Like if you create a separate world and live in it whilst you are sleeping.
I know that I've had continuity between dreams, even before I started trying to get into all this lucid dreaming stuff.
