I can't. Remember. My DREAMS, let alone go lucid!!!!!!! Damn school. I remembered a non-lucid dream I had, like 20 minutes ago. This is how it went :
I was in NYC for some reason, with my school friends. We were driving around in these retarded vans, and we stopped at this night club thing. My friend said, "You know the drill". I didn't know the drill. It turns out, some girl was in there that I was trying to ask out, but she was with (not dating, just with) another guy, which somehow stopped me from doing it. My friends would lure the guy outside, while I somehow got the girl. I just walked into the club and treated it like a normal club. The view switched to me in a helicopter, alone, following another van from the sky. It parked in front of the club, and somehow I teleported to the entrance. This time, I got the girl. This part is extremely foggy, but I remember driving with her, and I think there were some boobies. Thats when it went black. The dream was still in my point of view, but I was with my parents and two brothers. We were in our own van (a maroon ford), and driving on a long journey in the same city. We soon stopped at a hotel, my vision faded, then it was morning. My dad said, "We need to get out of the country", then the dream kind of ended, and I woke up.
The first part had way more details, and was more fun, but I forget them. Ever since I was little, I've slept with white noise, which is supposed to make the dreams unclear, but for me it usually makes music play through my dreams. In the second half of the dream, Teenagers From Mars was playing the whole time. Also, I haven't had much violence in my dreams at all, even though I play the balls out of video games. (Except that one time in that one dream on Halloween when I ate the Russian meat, then met this guy and girl from my school, then woke up in a cabin thing in the middle of the desert with that girl, freaked out, my dad picked me up, then fell asleep in the car so I had to drive, then took this random guy home, who ended up killing most of my friends, so I made a personal army and had a war with him(A few pages back(as in 20)))
I had a weird dream about being in a satellite in orbit of Earth and then watching out of a window as a nuclear war erupted. I could hear the explosions, it was quite unlike what I'd imagined a nuclear war would sound like. Rather than 'thud, thud, boom' it was just a huge explosion, like I was standing next to and feeling the combined force of every single nuclear device detonating. Probably because of playing Fallout too much.
Heh, I was playing Fallout 3 yesterday, just roaming around with Fawkes, then the radio came on and Three Dog said "I THINK VAULT 101 IS HELL. THE KID WE ALL KNOW AND HATE IS BLAHSOLDABJS-". I was like, "Schwam?". I then told my friend, "Three Dog just said I was evil". He checked my game status on my gamercard, and he told me, "It says Level 19, Evil Incarnate". I then traveled back to Megaton and maybe sleep off a glitch, but it turns out I accidentally forgot the reload a save after I killed everyone there. So now Megaton is empty, and I have evil Karma.
I woke up with the feeling of "holy shit this is fucking awesome!" but I can't remember why :saddowns: .
More than once I've had terrible dreams where my best friend (who I love with all my heart) and I try to survive zombiepocalypse but she ends up getting turned (through death or bite). I can't stop it, I can't help her, and I have to kill her.
Sometimes I hate sleeping :(
trying this tonight. should be fun.
There's this weird thing that happens to me sometimes. It's kind of hard to explain.
I'll be laying in bed, trying to fall asleep, as usual, but sometimes I enter this weird half-conscious state where I'll be laying still, thinking about stuff, and imagining myself doing things, almost as if I were dreaming.
I usually remain in this state for a only few minutes before what I'm thinking about (running, jumping, etc.) causes my entire body to twitch, bring me back to full consciousness.
Does anyone else experience this?
Damn I want to lucid so bad right now.
Fuck.
So many colorful dots....
Yeah, last night's codiene dream wasnt lucid, but it WAS pretty vivid.
I was Batman.
I had this weird dream. I was walking to my cousins house from school and then a car pulls over and a woman gets out and pushes me into the back seat. While she was driving she started to massage my feet and give me poptarts.
Had another dream. I was in this sort of beach dunes area near the water, and there were some houses near the water. A girl I apparently knew offered to lick me out, and when I thought about what she meant I looked down and I was a girl. This, suprisingly didn't make me lucid. I took her on my rubber dinghy and we circled the beach in it while she licked my vagina. It felt great, better than anything I've felt before (almost..). Whilst I was on the boat, I had this cryeditor-esque way I could change the lighting of the wooden houses. She finished up and I woke up from the orgasm, however fell back asleep quickly. I remember telling my friend about it in the dream, and getting all disappointed that it wasn't real. So, I figure it was a dream inside a dream at that point. Then later I remember watching an imaginary episode of skins on my TV, and some kid ran outside because he saw his friend on a bike.

ahahaha oh wow 2 dream journal entries on the same page
failed last night. but remembergetting an ipad 2 lol
remembered a dream which caused me to wake up and be sick (I'm ill, and since the end of this dream, I've been sick 9 times. Woo!)
i was running a track or something through a forest and a few friends of mine were moderating this track run and other people i knew were running too, and i did a few hurdles, and i remember falling over in the dream and waking up
Okay, so basically, I don't think I can lucid dream. I've been trying for so long. It feels like it'll never happen for me. I think I might have been on the brink of it several times, but then lost focus, or it was just a dream of me trying to lucid dream. So it was fake. But I don't know. I don't think any of the methods are helping me.
The only times I ever realize I'm in a dream is when I'm seconds from waking up, in that half-awake, half-sleeping state. I'm still partially in the dream, look around for a second, then realize, "Crap, this is a dream and I'm waking up."
I was an octopus last night
In space
I had a dream last night where I escaped school during 5th period and when I was escaping, my 5th period teacher sent two girl classmates after me, they were as tall as I am, I got out of the school and they where still chasing me, I was doing parkour to try to outrun them, but they caught up to me and tackled me to the pavement, I got back up, walked back a little, then slid under them Crysis 2 style. Eventually I got back to my apartment building, I unlocked the door and it closed. Then one of them punched right through the fucking glass and opened it. I ran up the stairs with them close behind, I got to my apartment, opened the door, and got in. As I was trying to close the door, they were pushing against it to open the door. Eventually, I closed the door and locked it, then I changed clothes and played Minecraft, then I woke up.

No, you're just failed to stabilize the dream is all.
When you realize you're dreaming, your obvious first reaction is to be excited and because of this, it de-stabilizes, what you need to do is either spin or rub your hands to stabilize it.
I dreamed about a cactus that grew under water.

also does prozac help you sleep faster? I have trouble getting to sleep under 30 minutes is this a problem?
Last night I dreamed that a flew up and visited Alaska on some sort of business trip to Anchorage. This makes sense since I lived there for 5 years. I don't know how far ahead this was, I'm guessing 10 years in the future judging by some of the people I saw. This dream stuck out to me because it wasn't wacky, crazy, or surreal. Everything seemed perfectly plausible and I was very confused when I woke, thinking the dream was real. Anyway, after some sort of meeting I had, me and a bunch of others went and had lunch at a sit down, Applebees or something. We're sitting, laughing, having a good time, when I spot my ex-girlfriend of 5 years having lunch with her mother at a table not far off. She sees me shortly after I see her, she does a double take, then urges her mother to leave. They hastily pay the bill and are heading out, I for some reason get up to follow. I follow them out, call out to her, she turns and is furious. "I can't believe you fucking came back, Nobody wants you here! You ruined EVERYTHING you bastard!" Shen then turned and stormed off. And then I woke up. I couldn't stop shaking.
To understand, you must know why she is my Ex. We had been together 3 years, we were the picture perfect couple. Well, my family moved away from Alaska, but we did the usual love-struck teenager thing, we kept the relationship up for 2 more years. This was a year ago, by then we were both in college, she in her third year, me in my first. She began to flip out over the smallest things, accused me of cheating every other week, and demanded we stay on the phone 5 hours a day everyday. I'm on my own, in college, holding 2 jobs, I can't take this. So we broke up. That's when I found out just how crazy she was. She would call all my friends and ask what I was doing like everyday, send me messages on facebook that were pages long, the messages usually went from "I fucking hate you you piece of shit." to "Can't we please just forget this and get back together." in the same message. For months I got bombarded with messages and calls from friends in Alaska interrogating me on why I cheated on her, and why I would molest her, why I would call her all those things. She turned many people against me and I did nothing wrong, so I began to loathe her for doing this to me.
So why, more than a year later am I dreaming about her, and suddenly in the dream I AM the bad guy?
saw the title thought ur talking about wet dreams

Orkel: wow dude wtf this dream
Orkel: it was nothing like ever before
Orkel: it was like
Orkel: a dream that I saw as a child, a world that I visited then
Orkel: I visited it again and everyone remembered me and had grown up to adults and they showed me old yellow books with "1998" marked on them and shit
Orkel: and they needed my help to overthrow an evil emperor
Orkel: and I woke up in the middle of it and went back to sleep and was there again
Orkel: doing shit
Orkel: it was an adventure with a plot hilariously complicated
eXperion: :V
Orkel: I remember at one point, a scene where I met an enemy soldier and he ran away, later on in the dream I actually travelled back in time and WAS that enemy soldier and met myself and ran away
Orkel: shit like that was ALL OVER the dream(s)
Orkel: it was like an intricate plot of paradoxes, time travel and all connected to a dream that I saw in 1998 or so
Orkel: my mind is full of fuck
I've had loads of dreams like that. But I can't remember shit once I get out of bed :(
I had a fucking false awakening this morning. It's probably like my second or third one. They're so god damn annoying, but still so damn cool.
Anyways, what happened was I got up from bed, took a shower and then went on my computer (odd because I never go to my pc in the morning). Then I noticed it was still really dark so I tried to turn the lights on but they didn't work (I've heard switches in dreams rarely work), and somehow from that, along with some other wierd things, I realised I was still dreaming and somehow woke myself up.
I really regret waking myself up, I could've easily turned it into an awesome lucid dream but no, I had to fucking wake myself up. I was pretty annoyed at the time and wasn't really thinking clearly, though.

Im selling this to warner bros
I had a horrible dream last night :saddowns:
It involved me and most of my friends from college and we were in some sort of compulsory army/special forces battling against north koreans, it didn't make much sense to begin with because we were having a conversation with kim jong il when all of a sudden a jeep thing with a machine gun on the back opens fire on us and we were fighting back with typical assault rifles. My memory is sketchy of most of the stuff that happened after this.
I distinctly remember for some reason climbing up a tree with no real motive and continuing to fire upon the jeep...
It was then that the dream shocked me, a massive whoosh was heard and we looked to the sky and could see a nuclear missile being launched at the battlefield to end the conflict. We rushed for a bunch of bunkers but despite everything could not get in as the missile creeped closer.
The last few moments of the dream were me and my friends waiting for the inevitable with pure despair, until I was woken by my alarm. :saddowns:
Anyone have an analysis? This has really affected me, I can't stop thinking about it...
I have a question, from what I remember 99% of my dreams are in third-person. People say dreams are life like. So will I be in third-person during my lucid dreams, if I ever get one that is.

In decreasing order of likelihood:
Death is inevitable, and that freaks you out
You think somebody will use nukes again, and people will die horribly painful deaths as a result
North Korea is a messed up country, and there'll probably be war there
You're afraid you'll be recruited by the army to do some stuff you don't really understand or care for
You want people you know with you when you die
You wanted a war dream, and unconsciously created this scenario as a way things might play out
You think Kim Jong Il's insanity is a facade, and he was really trying to distract you from from his forces
This is actually a metaphor for your penis
Someone magically/scientifically/phlebotinumonially implanted the dream to freak you out
The tree you climbed had epilepsy
This is a prophetic dream and will literally happen in its entirety
Aliens mind-raped Hitler in Red Canyon #2814 Military Research and Alien Base, on Mars, in 1814, and his false memories have been psychically transplanted to you from the future to prepare you to become the Anti-Buddha
To reiterate, the further down the list it is, the less true I think it is. These might all still be wrong, but I am sure the last ones are the most unlikely.
Also, if you look hard enough, you can tell when I started BSing
Last dream I remembered: A game that is the good parts of minecraft and the good parts of gmod- Minecraft with real physics and meteor storms that fall from thy sky to incinerate all in their path.
And the server owner was a creeper.
