Well here's what the zebra and giraffe fight looked like.

The snow is too deep to escape these demonic house-monsters with garage door mouthes and window eyes, and that fucking forest is infested with yeti's!! I dug a little snow grave and buried myself, but the houses SEE THROUGH EVERYTHING
Good thing it opened up a portal. Now I'm a dirty, crazy looking hobo on the streets, and everyone thinks I'm high on acid but I'm not. I'm attracting a crowd of shady looking Mexicans by talking about satanic, sentient houses. Maybe I should stop but there's already 12 of them following me.
I've had one lucid dream, and it went like this:
I was in the front yard of a house, probably about 10 feet from the road, and there was a row of bushes behind me, concealing the next house in the neighborhood. The grass was extremely green. Somehow I remembered to do a check and I held my nose and breathed. I realized I was dreaming. There was a girl more in the center of the yard, telling me to follow her. She was heading towards the front door of the house. It was a basic 1 story house, the front door was in the middle and a window on either side. I started walking toward the house but everything started spinning and the dream started to fall apart. I tried some things to keep it going like rubbing my hands together and spinning and it seemed to stall it, but ultimately the dream fell apart.

I just realized how relative my avatar is to this thread.
I had a pretty fucked up dream last night.
Though one portion of it really stood out from the rest, it being the only one I can clearly remember the majority of, but I'd rather not speak of it.
Let's just say it involves pokemon and magic treasure-chest things being shoved into little girls.
Well it was really only going to be about how you said 'Bah humbug, I'll help', then left it at that. In retrospect, I suppose you could have meant you will help in the future, but that's not quite how I took it.
Ugh, was falling asleep in math class today... again. I was having that weird thing where I was like 'no yeah, that makes sense, after all the aliens wouldn't... wait, what'. Or I'd look at something and see something else... I could have sworn I saw English in all that algebra
Likewise at work, I was stuffing letters for a mass mailing, and I kept on sort of half-asleep-edly see something specific to the person in the letter. I was just hallucinating though.
I had a dream last night that started out with some Touhou characters near my old high school, which was bombed then orbital artilleried. It somehow transitioned to X-Men, and Rogue was sort of the focus, only her power was to nullify all nearby powers. She struck out on her own due to some conflict, went back to my school looking for shelter from a storm, when some mutant thugs came by and struck a deal with her to strengthen up the place. Then the thugs partied and were surprisingly not dicks to Rogue, though she was secretly wanting to bring her parents there to keep them safe in the storm too.
I'll admit the only thing I see as meaningful is the repeated location of my old high school; surprisingly, it was not a godforsaken hellhole. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I miss it, and I guess it shows...
Oh, and I was actually sleeping through a thunderstorm, so it might have transfered into my dream.

Hur dur, why it so long.
On a serious note, I really wonder if waking life can affect a dream during the dream.

Yes. It is scientific.
Glad you liked the tl;dr
So I had a bunch of dreams last night, but I'm low on time so I'll stick to my LD. I was on the bus to my old high school when I became lucid for no clear reason (thanks, me :D). Didn't even check reality... however, I could feel the dream start falling apart, so to kick things up a notch from the normal rubbing hands stabilizer, I asked this girl I have worse than no feelings for to sit next to me and hold my hands, which I figured took absolutely no suspension of disbelief, as she is a creeper like that IRL. The dream stabilized, and I continued sitting there pondering what to tell everyone about my state; I decided against telling them it was a dream, since that me destabilize it again, so I just sorta sat and talked I guess. At one point, I did mentally force another girl nearby (also a creeper IRL) to blurt out something random, and I think everyone figured out I had done it, and appropriately held me in awe. (MWAHAHA)
...that was pretty much it, actually. I've actually been thinking about the busride more lately, since flooding here has blocked off the entrances to the town the high school is in. I remember having to deal with that last year, and it added 45 minutes to an already pretty sizable hour-long ride, so I can't help but feel sorry for the kids going through that right now.
Tl;dr: Iiiiiiiii'm on a buuuuuuuuuuuus, piiickin' up peeeeeoplllllllle (wait, nvm)
I had a really weird dream where I woke up as Miley Cyrus, naked, no less, and I did what any man would do in that situation, and I played with my new hair. Then I realized I had a vagina, and started masturbating. Then I stopped, played with my hair some more, and went into the bathroom. I looked down again, and saw that I had grown a penis, and the vagina was below it. I looked at my vagina again, and it turned out to be a fleshlight stuck on with glue. I pulled it off and started to use it to masturbate, but it turned into an apple, and I woke up.
:ohdear: There is something wrong with me.
Less dreams last night, if it's possible, I'm guessing it's related to the fact that I only get 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night.
[editline]23rd March 2011[/editline]
On weekends, when I sleep for 12 hours, I get plenty of dreams...
i quit a week or so ago. I was over a hundred days of logging and didn't miss a day. I just feel that I have to prioritize over it for now.
WHY!
Last night I had a dream where I WILDed while pissing successfully. During the WILD in a dream, I had no pants and I was like, woah. So I went doing RC for the first time in a long time (really, even in waking life) and shit, the RCs didn't work and was like, eff this and returned back to where I was in the dream before I WILDed
God damn fake lucids
[editline]24th March 2011[/editline]
Also, I wanna get back into LDing.
But, I am incapable of getting that habit of RCing regularly back since my life is very distracting.
If I do RILD, where can I get some LD material to read out of, apart from jake's stuff.
A friend linked me on some other forum about dreams and there was a talk about facts and statements you hear in your dream.
Those seem to be pretty amusing. It is amazing me how illogical they can be.
So maybe we should share that kind of stuff?
Example: "Finland has three kind of squirrels: black, brown, blue, darkgreen and two cyan."
I had a very, VERY weird dream last night.
So apparently I learned how to make things levitate and fly, which was sweet. So I did it to a door, and then just flew around on that door being awesome. Then I realized I've never masturbated while on a flying door, so I whipped it out. Unfortunately, right then the door stopped flying and I fell into a flashmob doing Thriller. From there, it just turned into that typical OH DEAR GOD MY JUNK IS EXPOSED TO EVERYONE dream. Bleh.
Was at a mall and ran a bunch of weird things in it like horse racing. It was really crowded. At one point I ran through the crowd thinking about a job I got, but I forgot what it was. Then eventually I saw my dad at home tuning some weird instrument, and I gave him his guitar saying it needed to be tuned too. Then I saw that the strings were placed in an X pattern later, and suddenly I was in a military tent as Jake from Jake and Amir, and it turned out Amir made another X pattern out of strings on a gun rack(why there were strings on it, I dunno). Amir said something about that being a great concept for a business. After that Jake got pissed(went into 3rd person) and pulled the strings out. Amir started getting angry and grabbed a gun to shoot Jake. Jake ended up trying to wrestle the gun out of Amir's hand, but failed twice. The third time he manages to pin the gun against a wall where it shoots Ben Stiller. After that it goes to some '80s black police chief that told Jake that he was a loose cannon, but got the job done.
Woah, I had a lucid
I was walking around HUGE harbour for a while, when I saw a nice looking ship, so I went inside. It was a hell of a labyrinth and I got lost in there pretty fast. The people who were on the boat seem to know how to navigate that labyrinth hell, but they didn't want to tell me for some reason. After a while I found a bathroom. It was the first room I had found on that ship so I looked inside and it was full of weed, hell, the whole bathroom was made of weed! I tought "this is so good that I must be dreaming" and did a reality check. I was so excited, but the dream started to fade or something so I rubbed my hands a fuckload and continued dreaming. I took the whole bathroom in my pocket and broke through a wall because I was full of that fucking labyrinth and stumbled into a room full of people dancing. I went to the dj decks and started banging some dubstep tracks with five joints in my mouth. After that I flew a little and the dream faded away as I woke to a another boring day.
It was awesome.
I had a dream that I had a cat toy on a string. I was playin with a cute kitty.
Well, so I came across this Youtube video with binaural beats for lucid dreaming. Now as far as I can tell, people here say either that all it is is a placebo effect, and that it doesn't have any effects on your brain at all, or they say say that there are indeed effects, that can be very severe 'n stuff, and that they're generally worth the effort. I was like "Well, I don't need all that much sleep tonight anyways, so if it doesn't work, no big deal (headaches were reported by some too, but I also didn't care about that). And I wasn't really expecting it to work either; noise as I sleep generally wakes me up. Some people said stuff about it causing sleep paralysis, and I was like 'well, I haven't gotten SP normally, if this does anything like that I'll have a better idea of what it's like'.
Now, I understand that SP is a bit of a breeding ground for mind rape, but all that happened with me was that after awhile of listening, I got this sort of painful resonance in my head that stopped as soon as I decided to fight it. This happened again, then the third time I decided to try to wait through it, and after a minute or so it stopped. As far as I could tell, that was all that really happened; eventually I fell asleep and woke up in the morning, no dreams as far as I could tell.
Of course in retrospect, I should have been reality checking in case I had secretly transitioned to a dream-state, and it probably would have also gone better if I had more than 4 hours to try it. Well, and it might have gone better if these things demonstrably worked, but whatever. Still gonna try other stuff, see if it helps
So anyone ever transform themselves in a dream? Like grow limbs they don't have in real life like wings or extra arms or something? It's something that I'd like to try when I get a good solid lucid.
I had a vague but good tasting dream last night.
I was sitting in a house similar to mine, albeit with a slightly better kitchen. I was standing in front of a pan with what looked like chicken but I assumed was pork, and it was. The pan looked like it had been in use for quite a while, there was a lot of left over gunk in it. I decided to turn up the heat, and the "pork" began sizzling. As it was cooking (technically it was already cooked) it started melting and getting smaller like an ice cube. As this happened, the stove faded and a bowl or something filled with pinkish water. I tasted the water, and it tasted like pork! I showed it to my dad, and he told me that it might not be fully cooked and that I shouldn't drink it. I was a rebel and started chugging :coolbert:
I have a feeling this dream was influenced by Arrested Development.

I went lucid for certain parts of a dream once. I was in an infiltration team trying to break into a lab in the middle of the rainforest. We were looking inside through a window with a small hole in it. The rest of the team tried to look for another way in, but at that moment I started going lucid, so I decided I would make myself elastic enough to squeeze through the hole.
(By half lucid I mean I knew I was in a dream, but I still wanted to do whatever I had been doing in the dream already)
Yeah, i have had times i just go lucid and im just too lazy to be lucid, you know?
I just wanna keep doing what i was doing.
Sometimes im excited about going lucid though. I have never woke up from being excited.

You CAN, but it's...hard. You wouldn't really think it would be, but somehow your brain doesn't like controlling limbs it doesn't already control. Which isn't to say it can't happen, just that it's rather difficult.
I had a dream last night where the team from TF2 fought against Kim Possible, needless to say, she was curbstomped hard.
You CAN, but it's...hard. You wouldn't really think it would be, but somehow your brain doesn't like controlling limbs it doesn't already control. Which isn't to say it can't happen, just that it's rather difficult.
Hmm, makes sense I suppose.
Hmm, makes sense I suppose.
I didn't explain it very well.
Imagine, right now, that you have a tail. Pretend to move it around and stuff. But then think about what muscles you'd need to have to move your tail, and where they'd be, and how they'd interact with the rest of your body, and stuff like that.
Then do the same thing except add four legs, change your physiology, and add fur. :<
I think it is possible to have extra limbs or different body, but the feel of it will fade once you wake up and you won't remember how you for example moved tail.
Also I hate having realistic blowjob dreams, because I'm single and can't have them for real. ):
I think i have grown wings in my dream. I cant really control them myself. they'll just do what i think.
I haven't seen this thread in 5 million years. It's been maybe half a year now since I started lucid dreaming? I basically LD any night I want to, and do it all the time unintentionally (especially if I drift off into a nap).
I'm currently working on talking to my sub while awake. For those of you complaining that lucid dreaming is hard to learn, just wait.

Zinayzen I liked your older avatar better :v:
I was in my REM sleep, when your mind's energy goes through your pineal gland, and I projected myself through my home town. It was awesome travelling through the dark, cold snowy night and not feeling cold.
It sucks waking up from your REM sleep, because you (energy) returns to your body and your brain.
Don't you guys feel so free when you're not in your body, but just travelling energy?
Btw, if you click (list), you'll see the names of the people who categorize themselves as dumb.
