And right before it's over, you use your crazy prediction skills to freak someone out, or just to change the situation?
If I happen to see the show, I'll spoil it to whoever is watching it with me
Note to all who enter this thread: Do NOT listen to ostegolation.
So anyone ever transform themselves in a dream? Like grow limbs they don't have in real life like wings or extra arms or something? It's something that I'd like to try when I get a good solid lucid.
Does a four foot penis count?
I had a horrible "falling" dream 2 days ago. Once I woke up I couldn't go back to sleep. Then yesterday my parents gave me a certificate for a tandem free fall jump next week (as a birthday gift). [editline].[/editline] Fuck yeah I'm still going to do it.
I've noticed that in my dreams, I only see some things, and there is an ever present black fog obscuring most things. I'm thinking this is a symbol, or a repeating part of my dreams. It's in almost all of my dreams, and would account for the black sky and lack of stars whenever I'm outside. Could it mean something? It's also annoying because I really don't see much of my dreams because of it. Anyways, what's going down with v3? Is someone working on it?

I still cannot believe how fast those things are Ugh, stupid having to go places without internet... So if anyone's been paying attention, they'd see that I've been obsessed trying to find stuff for easy lucids. This sort of culminated in a bunch of crappy semi-lucids last night; I kept getting to a point where I was just laying there (just a big white room), and I would do a reality check. I dunno why I'm always so congested while doing nose-pinches... The thing is that from there they just went into normal dreams, where I would lose lucidity. I remember one was based on that Homefront game trailer or whatever it's called. Or sort of, anyways; it was just a basic video game in a post-apocalyptic society as the remnants of the military fighting crazy gas-mask wearing... crazies. So different, but I'm pretty sure it was the inspiration. But the real wtf moment was when I thought back to a post I made a couple days earlier, where I flippantly said “You hear that, me? I'm getting tired of having to try [to LD] ;p” And then for no discernible reason I got a sudden interest in lucid dream inducing things... Oh you tricky, tricky me EDIT:
I've noticed that in my dreams, I only see some things, and there is an ever present black fog obscuring most things. I have terrible dream recollection right now. I decided I would force myself to start a dream journal, because I'm tired of my dream-self's wimpy dream-fitness. (Stuff like how clear dreams are, how well I can remember them, how easily I can go lucid) Right now, the very few dreams I have between the screaming darkness are extremely blurry, like when you're so tired you fall asleep every five seconds, except on the flip side. Last night, all I saw was darkness. I had zero dream recollection when I woke up. It's pretty hard to keep a dream journal without dreams. Do you think my subconscious doesn't want me to meet them? From the night I started reading this thread, my dream recollection has almost disappeared. I guess your sub must be pretty messed up when your nightmares are about chairs that are portals to hell, and museums with killer exhibits. [editline]17th March 2011[/editline] When I had the chair nightmare, I woke up screaming and crying. It was pretty bad.
If the dreams you do have are nightmares, then it makes perfect sense that your sub would sort of limit what you see. Like, is there anything you know of that you don't want to deal with? Or is there anything you don't know about that you don't want to deal with? I guess it just seems to me that the darkness would be hiding something bad, so I'd either find some excessively safe way of figuring it out or just ignore it assuming that you'll find out when you're ready. Of course, that's me, not you; you just do what you think is best, which might very well be to disregard my input, since I've certainly been wrong in the past.
The only lucid dream I've ever had was when I was in my bathroom for some reason and this monster (looked like the charred corpse model from HL2) walked to me (at this point I realized I was lucid) and I hugged it and it disappeared, then I was like "Oh shit what should I do". So I closed my eyes and opened them a bunch of times. Each time I was in a different place. I went to the yard of some house, then a library, then a room from amnesia (Which I haven't even played), then a room of some house that looked like it was from oblivion, but I was really tiny and the furniture was large, then I woke up.
(at this point I realized I was lucid)
:byodood: It kills me when people say that.
