Simple really.
The projections are still there. The only reason they adapt to the background is because you see it. Think of it like a hologram from your eyes. If you close your eyes the hologram is just behind your eyes

Though I think I'd still rather see the demon/monster/whatever floating in nowhere compared to being in my room, since the latter (speculation since I haven't done it) is more related to reality (he is in YOUR ROOM) while the first is more like some dream. That's just me guessing though.

I think I kind of had a lucid dream moment the other night. I dreamt I was in Mafia II, and that was pretty weird. Then out of nowhere I realized I was dreaming, and I instinctively rubbed my hands together like solid_jake does. That kept me in the dream, and it was pretty badass. I walked around for a bit rubbing and holding my hands together. I can't quite remember what I tried to do, but I shut my eyes and a few street sign posts warped and slanted to a side. And then that was it really. Nothing exciting, but it was my first lucid dream :smile:

Yeah it does Jake, it's an extremely peculiar feeling remembering your dream, everything had a vignette to it and it was all pretty vague - though that's probably just my poor recollection skills - but I remember perfectly what my hands felt like which is an odd thing to remember :v: I should really get myself to do reality checks so I can hopefully become lucid again.
In my other, non-lucid dreams, it's always like someone stuck a colour filter over my face. Everything has an extremely strong tinge of a certain colour, like green or purple.
It's weird how people see dreams, mine are just pretty much 'normal' whereas lew and a friend are tottaly different

What does everyone use for reality checks, and how they remember to do them?
i poke my finger, push my tongue against the roof of my mouth and pinch my nose and try to breath, and well, im trying to get into the habit of:
1) Performing one everytime i view a game, Movie or TV show
2) Do it anytime i enter a new room.
(usually ill do the roof-of-mouth) one
