I check the time a lot, seeing as I wear a watch. It's pretty much mechanical and it can be a good reality check, seeing as letters and numbers are jumbled up in your dreams and never stay the same. I also feel my teeth with my tounge a lot too. Flicking light switches is another good one, or asking yourself if and why you're in reality is good too. It's just something you have to train yourself to do, not really another way to get it into your routine really.

okay guys, after a long day of shingling my house, and having a loooooooong time to think while im doing my mindless repetitive work, i have come up with a theory about jake, or rather, Anti-Jake. Keep in mind these are only my theories, but feel free to think for yourself.
When Jake met his sub, it manifested as Ellen, becuase of a friendship crush. However, as Jake and Ellen's relationship grew (ahem ahem CoughSEXcough ahem), his sub became more than a sub in a Woman's body, but more of a Woman. since Men's emotions are pretty much opposite Woman's emotions (at the core)* <-- subnote; something in Jake's mind triggered a need for balance. everything needs balance (good and evil, kindness and hatred, woman and man), I believe that bits and pieces of Ellen's personality were transfered, thus creating this "Anti-Jake". If my theory is correct, AJ is not so much, an "Anti-Jake" as an "Anti-Ellen", or nellE. Furthermore, if my theory is correct, then any attempt for Ellen to defeat AJ will only trigger more unbalance, and make AJ stronger (just like Mr. Smith, from "The Matrix"). Since destroying one to destroy the other is most definitely out of the question (without a subconscious, you wouldn't be able to breathe without constantly telling yourself to breathe), I suggest that merging the two Sub's back together is the best option.
* subnote: Every Male has some Estrogen, and every Female has some Testosterone. While however minuscule these levels are, it is the level of estrogen in a male that plays a key role in the intesnity of things such as Kindness, Sensitivity, and Compassion.

My brother and I connected dreams, I had a dream once were I was at a beach and i sat there in the sand for a while. Then whent into the ocean and swam down under as far as I could, then woke up with this wierd ringing noise in my head. My brother woke up at almost exactly the same time. he said that he just had a weird dream that he was on the train tracks he walks everyday to get to school and he saw behind some of these trees there was a beach. So he went to the beach and saw me, he called out to me and ran after me, i went in the water and disapeared.
I told him my dream and we both freaked out.

Actually, I don't doubt he had a dream like that. Siblings have this weird mind meld thing where then can sort of share thoughts.

Hahaha same here, I was really super tired one day as soon as i hit the bed i fell asleep, and it felt like a milisecond later i just opened my eyes and it was daytime, freaked me out.

What I mean is, one of them probably didn't remember the dream. The other told him about his dream, saying how he was in it, and he believes he was in it. Think of it as inception, I guess.

No dude, as soon as i woke up i knew the whole dream and remembered the whole thing, Then what happened happened, i didnt even tell him first. He told me what he saw, then i told him what i saw.
