No dude, as soon as i woke up i knew the whole dream and remembered the whole thing, Then what happened happened, i didnt even tell him first. He told me what he saw, then i told him what i saw.
I don't know dude, I believe you on one hand, on the other, I know it's impossible.
Well, im not lieing, beleive what you want.
Maybe I should try to induce a nightmare on me before I go to sleep. Although, if something goes wrong... :ohdear: Should I try it guys?
i would advise..... no. ...but then again, im just a stupid fuckhead who thinks all day about something that other people know almost instantly. [editline]09:48PM[/editline] although....... every time i see something piss scary before i go to slepp i have nightmares. if you could successfully do an RC in a nightmare...... idk it might work.
Nightmares are the easy time to do a reality check, in terms of substance. There's usually far more things wrong in nightmares than a normal dream. However, the fact that nightmares fill you with inexplicable fear and dread makes RCs way, WAY harder to actually do consistently. It's kind of a coin toss, really.
Is there a difference when jumping in a dream because you need to(still ending up with low gravity) and jumping in a dream to do a reality check?
One time I was really tired and it was really late at night. As soon as I shut my eyes I heard my mom telling me to get up so I open my eyes and bam, it's the morning, really bright out too. What's up with that? Long time ago
Once when I was little and staying over the night at a friends house I woke up at 4am. As I was staring at the clock I blinked and it was 9am, the sun was up, and everybody was walking about and what not. Weirdest feeling ever.
You would look rather silly in real life Oblivious. :v: [editline]10:08PM[/editline]
Here's that meditation thing I was talking about a while back. Finally typed it up.
I prefer to meditate sitting up. Otherwise I just fall asleep. meditating is amazing, when I actually enter 'bliss' Its the most amazing feeling I have ever had.

Without the SP and hallucinations.
It feels like the middleman between being awake and being lucid. Without the SP and hallucinations.
Yeah. But I come out of it happy. I have no idea why. honestly I dont really even want to know why.
Because it releases endorphins. It's like your brain has a valve that doesn't usually open, and meditation opens it all at once.
Because it releases endorphins. It's like your brain has a valve that doesn't usually open, and meditation opens it all at once.
:aaaaa: I can basically get high by thinking about it. Thats pretty cool. Normally almost everything that releases endorphins just makes me feel good. Not happy. But hey, Im not complaining. :buddy:
Is meditation kind of like self-hypnosis? because I pulled off a successful self-hypnosis once. felt good, man. Edited: Oh yes. endorphins. Can't you get those from dark chocolate and orgasms, too?
You would look rather silly in real life Oblivious. :v:
Aye, i mean, does it help with lucidity or something
Pretty much, yeah.
well, I'm off to stuff my face with sweets and watch porn. lemme know how that meditation works, eh? [editline]12:32AM[/editline] jk, ima try meditation instead :3
porn and dark chocolate. oh wait.... disregard that last statement... and this one.
Do you know how to meditate birdman?
i read dat what zin posted. whatever, i guess im wingin it. unless you have any advice? Edited: I just read what I posted. Hmmm I should really try to clean up my typing skills.
Yeah hold on. Ill type something up. [editline]10:46PM[/editline] One more min. [editline]10:51PM[/editline] One more second. [editline]11:02PM[/editline] Doc H's meditation guide. Please practice and be patient. Start with the typical meditation pose. Legs crossed. Then adjust them to how you are comfortable. Make sure you are in a properly lit room. If you need to lean against something if you have a bad back, you can. (I do) Keep your head up. Imagine a string attached to your head keeping it up. Hold all of your fingers together so each finger is on the other and rest your arms on your legs. Close your eyes and breath in from your nose and out your mouth. Use your abs, not your chest. After a while of that with every breath in think: "Breath in good, breath out bad" Imagine breathing in blue air, and out red air. The blue is good, and the red is bad. Do that for a while then think: "Breath in peace, breath out stress" Do this until you have a nice slow breathing pattern. Then imagine you in a long black hallway, at the end you see an outline of a door with white light coming through. In the hallway floating around are large bubbles. Look at your mind, and see what thoughts you have. Then assign a thought to each bubble. Then concentrate on each bubble and makes it fade to black. Once the hallway is clear walk to the door. Step inside. Its nothing but white. You feel a light warm breeze blowing through. You feel calm, you feel peace. DO NOT RUSH IT. If you dont feel the hallway is clear, keep trying. It can feel like it takes a long time. But just work on it. You may need to try this a few days in a row. But it will get better. Just practice.
Thanks, Doc! I'll try that in a few minutes. OH SHIT it's 1 already. no biggie, just ever since i read the original OP, i somehow want to get more sleep.

'Night
Im pretty sure setting a goal is one good way to achieve lucidness.
I had some crazy dreams tonight, Dream 1: Vending machines - The epic scam I was at a bridge (it exists irl) but next to the bridge there was 2 vending machines, one dispensed coffe, the other one dispensed candy, bread and stuff like that. Me and my brother somehow changed the candy machine so it did not give any candy so that I then could take all the money the someone put into it, the only one putting any money in it was an old lady, I took the money and then that dream ended. Dream 2: Triad adventures The next dream was that i somehow joined the triads (I do not know how this happened since i am not from china or anything) and they asked me to deliver a package to another triad boss, but they never told me the location where he was so i was running around and got a letter (I do not know how i got it) saying "You know what happens to people who dont deliver in time..." so now i was in shock and starting to run around looking for the leader and i somehow ended up in my old school. I knew i would never find the boss and i started to cry (lol I'm a pussy) but then i reminded myself "This is just a dream, nothing here can hurt me." (i did not get lucid lolwut??) and i started looking again and then i started to cry again but then i realized "This is a dream, i can go lucid" and then i went lucid an appeared in my house and i said to myself "Driving a hover car would be awesome" but then I woke up. :sigh:
Dream recall is finally returning to normal :D Time to start recording them again.
When I close my eyes, I see hallucinations, such as people walking around or eating. I don't see patterns like most people do, I see it as if I am streaming a video under my eyelids.. I literally see things that I might aswell see in real life, and I am not imagining it myself, it's just random scenes popping up. I can't see those patterns that I used to be able to see anymore, now it's always these hallucinations, and they are really interesting. Can anyone tell me what this is about? I hope theres an explanation on it or something.
Had a really nice snippet that I remembered of my dream last night. I was staring into my girlfriends eyes, and we were just sitting there completely comfortable. 'twas good. :3 Anywhoodle, I'm going to bed now. 'Night guys I'm gonna try and WILD.
