The dream had too much contrast in it so it wasnt clear I tried playing with the light, I could make the room darker and lighter. After that I feeled like it was ending and I woke up.

Well, instead of hanging out with you guys in chat, today I went to Gitche Manitou with a few friends. If there was ever a place IRL that feels just like a dream, its this place. It was an ancient Indian burial ground, it held many sacred rituals, it has an old burnt-out church where missionaries used to reach out to the Indians. Back in the 70's, 4 teenager hippies were murdered by a few rednecks for smoking weed. It didn't help that they were smoking in a ravine sacred to the ancient Indians.
Any ways, in the last 30 years there, there have been suicides, Willowwisp sightings, reported sightings of shadow people, and the ravine where the kids were murdered is.... just..... indescribably weird. It wasnt so much scary or creepy, just erie and weird. It smelled distinctly of weed, but...... different. You would have to be there to get it. we had to take my SUV to get in there deep enough, and now my car is.... lower pitch. I am fuckin creeped out; the explorer is slightly faster, and has a deep, powerful, ominous rumble in it. As soon as you step over the "spirit rocks"(a row of red rocks surrounding the entrance), you just feel fucking weird. You cant breathe all the way in, it feels like there is a weight on you, and you feel like you are being watched. We didn't see anything (the most serious shit happens at 1:30 in the morning), but the feelings were freakin intense. I was doing RC's the whole fucking time.

[highlight]OH GOD. This is amazing.[/highlight] The most amazing thing that has ever happened in my dreaming 'career'. Check this out. Guys....check this out. Last night, I went into sleep paralysis. What is so special you ask? It was from meditation. [u]I went into sleep paralysis, straight from meditation.[/u] But thats not all. I also started seeing vivid images in my head. I could stop the playback of the images whenever I wanted, and all I had to do was think "Im going to let my mind wander" When I did I saw a bunch of jumbled clips and images. When I let my mind wander it felt like I was falling backwards. The way I knew that I was in SP was when I tried to come out of meditation, I couldnt move. I had to think very hard about wiggling my fingers before I could regain control. I accomplished this in 20 minutes.
Do you know what this means? [b]This means, that I could go straight into WILDing in less than a half hour. And with practice, I think I might be able to lucid dream on command.[/b] This is awesome. Im going to see how far my mind will go tonight.

Alright, well I guess the thread is sleeping. Im going to attempt to go into WILD through meditation again tonight. Ill post tomorrow if it worked.
I was trying to WILD and somehow went into sleep paralysis, and I could feel a lucid dream coming on. This was my first time trying this sort of thing, and the results were un-fucking-real I can't wait to get better at this because It's brilliant. Just figured I'd post this before going back to bed.
I found out im susceptible to hypnosis and I still have nightmares every night.
