I can't lucid dream :saddowns:
Hm.... sounds badass to me, but I get your point.
Yeah, but it feels strange when the elevation of the floor keeps changing.
Huzzah, after about 5 days into this whole lucidity thing, I'm the proud owner of a lucidity dream have. Which is funny, because 3 hours ago I was discouraged because I couldn't remember my dream the night before. Got up, read 2 chapters of 'Along came a spider' (The book I'm currently reading.) then attempted a WILD. I was getting frustrated by TRYING to sleep, so I went the MILD route instead. I had a good long dream before the lucidity, but I'll spare you that, was only marginally interesting and I'm on a character limit. Anyway, I was installing a new PSU in my computer (The reason my comp is kaput ATM.) when my motherboard fell out! I examined a bit trying to figure out why that happened... Then RC'ed (Nose breathe). Tried rubbing my hands together and spinning, but the dream collapsed anyway, ironically putting me in a situation (In my dream.) where I fell asleep. Character limit isn't big enough to tell the next part. Will say I RC'ed again and became lucid. Those things fade fast when you wake up...
I had a pretty cool dream last night, remembered all of it. I love my dream recall now, this is the third consecutive dream i have remembered almost in its entirety, i just need to practice my reality checks now. Here it is, it reminds me of a movie that Kurt Russell would be in.
The dream starts when a family member i know has an abusive boyfriend and has jumped out of the car and called me on her cell phone, but little did i know this was a start of a conspiracy. As it turns out there is another in-law family member that wants me in jail, i am on his "list" of people required to be jailed, killed or incapacitated to make his plan come to fruition. Back to the girl, as i arrive to pick her up, the second i arrive some black male steals her bag, he was contracted by the in-law but i'll get to that later, he steals the bag and runs down the street and i go after him, i get the bag back and basically kick the shit out of him but a cop arrives on the scene QUICKLY, he is booked for robbery and i am booked for assault. I am in prison. This police officer will come back into the dream at a later point. The evil in-law is planning to rob a bank with 2 other inmates, while he is doing this i am having a conversation with his son, he talks about how his father "expected" me to be in prison, that he was "waiting" for me, upon realizing it was a setup i have somebody i know sneak a gun into the prison for me, a .45 1911, i go up to the in-law and threaten his life (i ask him with the gun to his head if he's ever been shot before, 9mm or 45 acp? told him it hurts like a bitch) i scare the ever living shit out of him and uncover his plot. He was just the man to set me up, he wasn't actually part of the robbery. 4 other men were involved in the robbery, 3 inmates and 1 police officer, the officer who had arrested me earlier. The "camera" goes to them, they are walking down the street in body armor, they have what look to be the new-age style SMGs, something like this (you know the crazy futuristic looking bullpup designs) They head down to the bank and a national security man is there, they hold him hostage or incapacitate him. 3 men stay outside the bank while one goes inside, if i remember correctly, it was the police officer, he immediately goes batshit insane and starts shooting people (i don't see it, it is sort of implied), the 3 others wait outside and watch for cops. Then i come in, down the street where they were, i walk up to them with my 1911 and point a gun at ones head and then begin struggling for his weapon, we hit the ground and his friends are unable to shoot me because of the struggle. I grab a hold of his SMG and let loose on his friend's legs, i destroy both of their legs and then shoot him in the head with my pistol. After that the dream ends. I never confront the man in the bank although i feel i should have. If you didn't know the cop, the guy who stole the bag were contracted to be part of this conspiracy, i don't know why i was required to be jailed to make this plan work but i guess, dream logic, lol I also hesitated to call the "bag" mentioned earlier a "purse", it felt more important then that. Maybe the bag itself was more integral to the story and not actually me, although i do remember being on a "list"
:mmmsmug: EDIT: I should mention none of my family members are *actually* in this, no family member i know has an abusive boyfriend. Just pointing that out.
You know what would be REALLY useful to me? If someone would explain daydreams to me. I have really vivid daydreams; In fact I just has the most immersive daydream I have ever had (while my chem teacher was trying to explain the quantum theory). My friend sitting across the table from me said I was staring at the wall, eyes bloodshot, face pale white, and finger twitching. When I daydream, it starts out, me dozing off to sleep and having a wierd little dream fragment, much like I have heard happens before SP, waking up, and while I am still drowsy, making a conscious decision to keep thinking about it, then I daydream away for anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour. I make most of the decisions up, but some things happen randomly, like in an actual dream. This daydream, I had a really hard time snapping out of it. I felt mentally absent for almost five minutes, very oddly close to an out of body experience. ...Any insight, anyone?
Well its kinda bugs me, as she does it the area shifts at random as well, eventually she was some multicolor glowing being by the time I awoke.
Probably finding a safe area that you like, too. Next time just go with it. Or next time just stand in one place and tell her to shift until she's done. Eventually you'll have a form and place you're comfortable with. Sometimes it doesn't make sense. Mine's Agent Smith, for god's sake. And my comfortable place is a bench at a well lit park, except the bench is a sofa.
Dude agent smith would make a totally kickass sub.
Dude agent smith would make a totally kickass sub.
I wouldn't think so, i mean, to me Smith is not a good character. He despises humanity and choice, he is a cold calculating machine, not somebody i would want as a representative of my subconscious but that's just me.

Evidently you're not aware of sitting there staring or twitching, so to some extent you're definitely partly sleeping, and the fact you mentioned the sort of dream fragments you're meant to get right before SP could also suggest this is some diluted form of WILDing. *shrug* There's my insight xD
I managed a WILD for the first time not long ago. It wasn't spectacular - it only lasted a short while - but as least I know how to pull it off.
I was in some sort of warehouse. The shelves were stacked with boxes of various things, most notably and in most supply various toys. I was examining a box or boxes of something, when I saw a note. I forget what it said, but that lead me to several different stops around the warehouse, and to different boxes, none of which I can remember the contents from. Then I heard someone calling "Hey!" from behind me, and I turned around. There was a girl, about my age (I think I may have seen her in my school a few times) waving her arm, sitting at a desk that resembled Dr. Breen's. I forget what happened after that, but we ended up sitting high up on shelves in the warehouse. I think it was a man I was talking to, not the girl I saw before, but I still felt as though I were talking to the same person. At some point, I realized I was dreaming and rubbed my hands together repeating "I want to remain in this dream." We talked, but I don't remember about what. After that, the man I was talking to changed form into Brian Griffan from family guy, god knows why. Then the shelf above our heads stretched incredibly high above us, and I saw a tear (cartoonized to fit Brian's form) come to his face. After more stuff which I can't remember, everything started collapsing in chunks around us, being filled in with chunks of an open, grassy field, and Brian started spinning around and singing (The only line I can remember him singing is "The most I can do is pray", with a pause after "do" and, with "is" and "pray" being extended, like "iiiiiissss prrraaaaaayyyyy") and I continuously rubbed my hands and repeated "I want to remain in this dream." Within the course of this dream, I faded in and out of reality, and woke up several times, but just laid still and eventually fell back asleep, continuing where the dream left off.
I presume the form I was talking to was my sub, and the warehouse was probably my memories or something. Oh, and that line I remembered him singing was from a Frank Sinatra song, "Luck Be a Lady" (a song I particularly enjoy, I like Sinatra's music).

I honestly don't know, that's a little random for me, but if it WAS your sub, maybe it was one of those dreams that wasn't really for your conscious benefit. That's my only guess.
I entered my dream again with wind everywhere and her doing that shifting thing. Eventually I stomped my foot and stopped the land, and shouted "ENOUGH OF THIS." before everything just sorta paused. I immediately thought of a form, and she took it along with the area turning into the grassy green fields. Everything is right again.
After 2 months of hard work, 1 of the month actually getting determined about it. I have a lucid dream that didn't screw up.
Lucid dream I was with Lenny and Carl (from the simpsons) at a night outing in the countryside. I couldn't recall much about it. Then Lenny wanted me to help loosen his belt (rate me rainbows). Before I replied, I felt a strange feeling on my left arm, a feeling from reality. It was sort of tingly. "No Lenny, because this is a dream" I replied, gaining lucidity. I started to rub my hands. "I want to stay in this dream". This time, I managed to stay in the dream. I then decided to fly over to a restaurant (done unintentionally). In the restaurant, I saw my bro and gave him a pizza (pizza was unintentional as well). I then start to fly around the restaurant and said "Where are you subconscious" about four times (rate me boxes as well). All the people stared in the restaurant stared at me as I did it. Then my bro suggested that I give a burger to a patient in a hospital nearby. I decided to play along and said yes, so I took the burger off him and a flew out of the restaurant. I got to the hospital, it was nearby, so it wasn't hard to find. It was hardly painted on the outside. I levitated to one of the windows. I loled when the patient I was going to give the burger to was a fat man who was already eating a cheese burger. Then I remembered there were other things I wanted to do in a lucid dream, so I decided to try teleport to a place called Twilight town (it's a quiet little town, and its skies are alway orange-ish red), but before I could, all went black. The feeling on my arm started to overwhelm my dream. I tried to rub my hands. I couldn't do anything, so I gave in to the tingly feeling and woke up.
Can anyone explain why I've done somethings unintentionally.
Haha, I just had an awesome dream where I was adventuring with Dr. Who in the Tardis. And it wasn't the current Dr. Who, it was more of a mix between the 1st and 3rd doctors.

I didn't remember my dream tonight, it's a shame, i was far too preoccupied.
Can anyone explain why I've done somethings unintentionally.
When you are sleeping even if you gain lucidity something tells me there is still some problems in the logic center of your brain (which basically shuts down during REM sleep), you probably played along because it made sense to you at the time even though in retrospect it was sort of retarded. Tee hee.
Do tell
Doesn't really seem that awesome when you read it, But i guess that's how dreams are. It start off with me, the Doctor, and a few other people in the TARDIS. We are fixing to walk outside to get a sample of the environment, and he tells us we have to do this quick so nothing boards the TARDIS that we don't want. so we quickly run outside onto a planet that looks like Mars, But small enough that you can see the surface curve off. the Doctor runs off and grabs two handfuls of dirt then we go back into the TARDIS. We walk in and there's a guy sitting in a chair, he quickly stands up and starts to walk off but stops. I don't remember much here about what happened, if the doctor just had an angered expression on his face, or if he yelled at the guy. But It pops into my mind that the guy just beamed up a beetle like creature on board. It then laid some eggs or something inside a cargo-hold like area that then hatched into more, then a 2nd one warped (or dug) up into the area we where in. I think we fought it off but I don't remember. So afterward the Doctor has two of the other people start digging a way out. while they are digging one of them finds a spider and freaks out, the Doctor talks to it telepathically and makes it go back to sleep. They then finally reach the surface, we all then go off and explore a forested landscape. We start following a path and find a split in it. (Of note both paths go across a stream that has chunks of road pavement in it, complete with yellow stripes and reflectors.) We chose the one to the right and continue walking, after awhile I look behind me to see something running towards us, we start running and stop after awhile when I realize it's not there anymore. We walk into a open area with some bear like guerrillas that acted hostile to us until their cubs came running past us to them. after this the dream starts to fade out and I wake up.
Ok, I had a weird lucid dream:
There was a celebration of sorts in the yard outside a hut looking thing. There was my family there I think, a few friends, and just random people. I realize that I'm dreaming and do that hand rubbing thing, and spin around (dunno if this helps but I guess it did). Suddenly, everything became clear and the colors were fucking amazing. I begun walking around, and I got inside the hut. It was dark as shit, and there were some people inside. They were dirty, their bodies were covered in dust and their clothes were ripped. All of them looked really sad. I was about to get out, when I remembered about "hugging and kissing your nightmares, etc". I approached a girl, that was right in the middle of this. I held her hand and she stood up. I hugged her and nothing happened, so I kissed her in the cheek. She smiled and her corner of the hut brightened up. The dust fell off her, and we walked outside. Everyone was even happier than before, and we started jumping around with them. The people started to leave, and both of us were quiet for a while until she said "I am your subconscious." I looked at her, and asked "really?" and she shook her head saying "nah, I'm not". I then begun thinking "I want to summon my subconscious" and she looked at me and said "No...you don't want to meet her". I noticed that she said HER, and asked "Why is that?". She simply walked off with the rest of the people. I got angry, and clouds begun forming, giving off purple lightning. I thought "Ok, fine" and the clouds disappeared. I walked around the hut and thought "at least let me summon my crush (I don't know why I still want to do this)", and everything turned black. I started to focus, and tried to rub my hands, and I begun to see the hut on a corner of this blackness. I walked towards it and the dream returned. I walked into the hut and began hugging the people inside, when I was about to go for the third one, I woke up.
I once managed to get about three Doctor Who dreams after listening to the "Chameleon Circuit" album on loop for a week xD
Well, today was homecoming. the trivia was so damn boring that I sat back in my auditorium seat and decided to try WILD (odd timing ftw) so, I decided to try counting stairs as I walked down them. I kept a steady pace, about 1 per second. I lost count around 250, next time I was conscious I realized that I was putting holes in a rusty WWII era tank with a hole punch and putting bolts in. It was the rhythm that made my realize it; I was putting in the bolts at 1 per second. I kind of heard the shouts of adrenaline-filled highschoolers, but they did not matter. Suddenly, I heard my friends sitting next to me say: "dude hes sleeping" mess with him" I suddenly shot awake and shoved the middle finger in his face as he was about to elbow me. Scared the shit out of him. In other news, the homecoming float I worked on for two weeks was put to use today. It was amazing. Driving down the street blasting War Machine over some huge stereo speakers, Tootsie rolls being shot out of a homebuilt candy cannon by a fat kid in full camo, hot chicks in camo (O GAWD YES) sitting in the back next to me, it was a once in a lifetime experience. Then, when the winners of the float contest was announced, I was sure we had won. I looked at all the other floats and they didnt hold a fucking candle to our vehicle of semi-redneck war. Then, guess who won? not us. the seniors. THE FUCKING SENIORS! THEY HAD A WOODEN SIGN WITH COLORED PAPER ON IT! WE HAD A FUCKING TANK! When he announced it, everybody was silent. The first words out of my mouth were: MOTHER FUCKER! Needless to say, If you tell a bunch of adrenaline-filled juniors that their hard work and determination was, all in all, a pile of worthless garbage, SHIT HITS THE FAN. I swear on my left testicle, the AC-130's of hate and rage flew over, and carpet bombed the entire place with F-bombs. Soon after that, we went on the war path. Seven large teenagers with full camo and thier rage faces on is a pretty scary sight. We didnt find any of the three judges, either because they split to avoid us, or we didnt look in all the closets (if you know what im sayin). Pic: [IMG_THUMB]http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/6290/100100122800.jpg[/iMG_THUMB] I swear if anyone says "lol u mad bro?" I will laugh so hard, because if I ever see them IRL, I will shove my size 11 army waders so far up their ass, they wont be able to talk without the horse shit I stepped in flying out their mouths. [editline]04:23PM[/editline] Well, Ima try to use all this leftover rage and testosterone to do a successful WILD nap. Bye.
I have the problem of remembering lucid dreaming, thinking 'oh yeah I should totally try that', then trying it one night and giving up the next. It's a shame. I can, sort of, control my dreams. If I'm ever in a bad one I will always at some point be in control, where I can then force myself up through the story of the dream. Most of the time this is by a wooden lion on wheels with goggly eyes appearing out of nowhere and the dream disappearing like ruined film. Creepy stuff.
Most of the time this is by a wooden lion on wheels with goggly eyes appearing out of nowhere and the dream disappearing like ruined film. A load of wooden animals on wheels popping up the disappearing saying in an ominous voice "I'm THE BEARRR!" with scary spinny eyes. Perhaps you too are a victim of this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7poly4w8800 Take a look of that about 1 min in. There's a lion too. Familiar?

well, I fell asleep too soon for WILD, and I'm still pissed. I'm going to the fuckin homecoming game.
So like, I'm only half lucid or something? Because I never wanted to fly, go to a restaurant nor give a pizza.
Yeah, it happens all the time to me. I feel like even though I know I'm dreaming, I'm not really the one making the decisions. I'm still just acting like I normally do in dreams. Speaking of which, I've been really into Touhou and I'm interested in dreaming about it, but I think I'm afraid of the perversion potential. I don't wanna be that guy, y'know? What do I do? Wait, 'speaking of which'? It wasn't related at all... *Hrm*. Why do I always bring up unrelated things...?
Damn, gotta learn how to fully control myself in a lucid dream before I can really get started with anything.
I never have dreams, or I won`t remember them, is there any good way to start or start remembering?
I never have dreams, or I won`t remember them, is there any good way to start or start remembering?
I'm certain the OP has advice. The main thing is to stay in bed after waking up, ideally to try to remember stuff. But seriously, check the first post. Well, actually second 'cause Zin ditched. GAH PAGE 1
