As I said earlier I had a panel that let me control scenario's and activate stuff.
Well, I attempted to activate operation sadhe, it was shade, but now its sadhe for some reason.
Anyway, just as I was about to press it, my subconcious grabbed my arm, and knocked me backward.
"You aren't allowed to do that."
"What do you mean Im not allowed? It's my world."
"It is for your own good sir, I cant allow you to press it."
"Who are you to stop me?"
By this point I saw her arms split open before sprouting out three kris's from her wrist.

"You aren't listening Riza, this isn't like you."
"I think its time you leave."
"Bu-"
Then she dove forward and stabbed me in the stomach, I felt a sharp pain before awakening. The pain stayed, then I realized it was the same pain I get when I was hungry.
:c
Also, people say I should write small stories off of these dreams.
I told you. If your sub doesn't want you to do something, you won't fucking do it. And god help you if you try to fight back.
I made a website with some of the crazy dreams I've had a few months back. Thought it'd be relevant: http://www.dreamsfromlastnight.net
I'm thinking about writing a novel about someone who gets stuck in their lucid dreams.
Their subconscious would be their guide trying to tell them to get out of the lucid dream, but the person wants to stay in because it's so much better than his life while awake. In this dream they'll be the exact opposite of what they already are: Stronger, Smarter, Famous, Rich, etc. Soon that person would forget their lucid dream is a dream and begin to think it's reality.
Not sure how it would continue from there, but I'm inspired. Also, we could maybe make it a collaborative event or something if people are interested enough. Chapter a person etc.
If it was collab, I would be more than willing to contribute, I've been wanting to do something similar for ages, but don't want to undertake it my myself because I'm already mid-way through writing a novel atm. Sounds like an epic idea :D
I had a dream that I was revisiting all the heart to heart talks with my ex. I realized there weren't very many.

What happened last time you activated "Operation Shade"?
Also Zin, why shouldn't you fight back or argue with your subconscious?
If you got two experienced lucid dreamers trained enough that they would narrate their dreams out loud, and take what they hear and willingly recreate it in their lucid dream, which in itself would be a near impossible feat, under the right circumstances, it might be possible to have an extremely vague and metaphorically fuzzy shared dream, using the medium of voice.
I like metaphors, so a metaphor for this would be like using skype video chat over infared wavelength signals.

Its like throwing stones at a tank with the barrel aimed at you.

what the hell?
Had sleep paralysis last night it was real creepy, I literally felt like I was made of goo and kept shaking (Try thinking of poking to pudding with something, that kind of shaking) and weird shit was flying through my room while eyes, staring at me, started popping up, growing and exploding on things in my room. That was uncomfortable as fuck.
Also still no luck with lucid dreaming.
Also Zin, why shouldn't you fight back or argue with your subconscious?
Because you're going to lose.
Because you're going to lose.
Is there any explanation as to why you would always lose? I mean, your subconscious is pretty much yourself. What makes it stronger than you? The fact that you're roaming around in your mind?

It's not really your world.
Question: I ususally.. *ehm* partake in certain drugs every once in a while.
Would any of them stop or distort my dreams? Does anyone have a list of what might mess with your dreams?
[editline]e[/editline]
I found the answer to one of them, darn.
It would be nice to put it in the OP (or solid_jake's post) if somebody had a list of drugs and how they may effect your dreams negatively.
Here is some more input on how smoking might effect your dreams.
I got an "error" message in my dream reading "you should know that this place is unreal!" thus I became lucid.

It's you, but it's a you that knows you better than you do. It's the you that knows how you are without talking you up or trying to look better than you are. It knows the pure you, you know the you you think you are. Which means it knows way better what it is you should and shouldn't know or do in a dream. It's your mind, but your sub is kind of like the gatekeeper.
Imagine, if you will, that your dreams are like a kindergarten playground. You are a small toddler, ready to explore and have some fun. Your sub is kind of like the supervisor. Always there and ready to make sure you don't do something stupid, but otherwise there to help you out or answer questions.
Going with that analogy, imagine arguing with a supervisor as a six year old. You're going to lose, and don't even bother attempting to fight them.

I don't do any drugs, so I don't know from experience. I would assume that they'd make them more colorful and even though they'd be completely ridiculous and outlandish, you probably wouldn't recognize you were lucid.
Also everyone asking how to make a "Symbol". I drew mine when I woke up.
Only thing I could remember from my dream. Was hanging in a window or something.
Is there a way to induce psychedelic dreams over boring realistic dreams?
I have been waking up remembering my dreams perfectly? Why havnt I been writing them down? :frown:
Is there a way to induce psychedelic dreams over boring realistic dreams?
Well, I would just MILD and tell myself to have a really bizarre dream, but clearly that isn't always an option.
Alternatively, you could raid your medicine cabinet. ;p
I just thought about making a video that implants the thoughts to either remember your dreams or go lucid. I wonder, if made correctly, if they would help.

Well turns out some drugs, like marijuana, will completely destroy your ability to dream/remember your dreams, long term users i mean, i don't do it very often but just for safety's sake i won't be doing it all this month.
Priorities, man.
It would be interesting though to see the effects of something like Ecstasy or some Psychedelics on dreaming, i don't do anything besides smoke so i wouldn't know, or i'd tell you.
My friend swears to me its nearly impossible to go to sleep on LSD however.
It would just be a nice advisory for people who do drugs, on the posts, they should know that doing drugs may ruin or distort your dreams even if you aren't on them at the time you go to sleep.
The only time i remembered a dream while i was high i wasn't even in it. Heh
This is a weird dream I had a few years ago, It was my first lucid dream and I did it completely by accident and haven't been able to do it again since. I was hoping some of you might be able to help shed some light on it.
It was a dark and stormy night, I remember the ice cold rain drops on my shoulders. For some reason I wasn't wearing a shirt. Anyway I was standing on the edge of a cliff, I could make out a village below me clear as day. A man was standing next to me but I didn't notice him until he spoke. Remembering his voice gives me chills as it was a VERY deep voice. Actually think Dan Green only a little deeper. The conversation went like this.
Man: Such a peaceful little place isn't it?
I nodded
Man: What a pity
The village I was looking at burst into flames and everything went colder. He turned towards me and handed me a sword. I looked down at it and smiled. (I'm not sure why). He then grabbed two people and threw them onto their knees, I didn't recognize them.
Man: Kill them. Kill them now.
For some reason I picked up the sword and took a step towards them. I yelled and took a swing and then recognized them as my two best friends.
That's when I woke up with a yell and was crying. It's a dream that I'll remember most likely for ever. Though it's strange, Before the dream I was afraid of the dark and hated rain. Now I feel most at peace on dark and stormy nights.
I had a talk about it with another friend who is very interested in lucid dreaming, He said that it was possibly my sub-conscious trying to tell me something. The fact that I got over my fear of the dark and rain kind of makes me think it was sub-conscious trying to get rid of my fears.

Jake should really edit that in or copy and paste it in.
On a completely random note, turkey is FANTASTIC for lucid dreaming. Not preprocessed turkey, like lunchables, but like real sliced turkey.
Mhhhmmmm, peanut butter, sliced turkey and banana sandwich...
Amazing dream Big-Bear. We seem to be in the same predicament. I've had one by accident a long time ago too. Nothing as life-changing as yours, however. Or maybe it was, but in such a subtle way!
I've been writing my recent dreams down and I can tell it's helping my dream recall. I've remembered every dream since I started noting mine down from the beginning of this week.
The dream I had 20 minutes ago was quite interesting. I forgot half of it because I was distracted by other things, but I remember a good deal. It wasn't lucid, but I think I was talking to my subconscious. It was a tall man, with a deep celebrity-esque voice, a distinctive long, blond beard, and he was in fisherman attire.
It was a windy and gray skied day on the beach as I walked along a narrow, wooden pathway. In front of me the man was talking. I was telling him all of my problems and asking him questions about life. He answered them, but sadly I forget what the questions were. I believe one was asking, "Why are people were different?". At the end of the path was a white, two story building. Inside was quaint (but big), and very sea shanty in detail.
If I become lucid I'd like to visit this building and find the man with the blond beard and learn about him more.
That's awesome Goshoha, I think I'll continue and explain what the man looked like.
He was tall, about 6'4. With long black hair and deep brown eyes (The same as mine actually, Just minus the long hair) He was wearing long black pants and a black long sleeved shirt, But he had a blood red cape as well. It was a very Medieval type dream as some might be able to tell.
Well, all due respect Big Bear but that dream would give me cause for concern (if I had it)
So last night I was all like 'I should totally have a Touhou dream!' Surprisingly, my sub seemed to agree (it didn't like the idea before because of the implied pedophilia... *AHEM*). I was like, "Oh, really? COOL. And, y'know, it doesn't need to be anything exciting, just anything is fine.' This is what happened:
My dream was very vague; I was standing in some sort of nondescript white void, when my sub showed up. I didn't actually see it, but I got a vague picture that looked like Satori Komeiji (a mind-reader from Touhou). I was excited that it worked and said something like "Oh my god! A Touhou character!", to which my sub responded (in my normal voice) '.....Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaah........'
Fin
LOL. I guess my sub still isn't enamored with the idea... and clearly took the 'doesn't need to be much' thing a little too literally. I can't help but think that the only reason my sub was fine with it at all was because it was planning such a lame dream. At first I felt kinda gypped, but now I realize my sub is pro
TL;DR: Sub: "TROLOLOLOLO"
