Friend is having problems remembering dreams, and he's really interested in it. He says he remembers them once a month for a week. Any ideas past the usual eat bananas/focus on recall right after you wake up? [editline]25th October 2010[/editline]
noise (especialy voices) only helps me stay aware during WILD. also, I used ideomotor response again; it turns out I DO have an anti-sub, and K (who is probably more powerful) is hiding him from me. meh, cool whatever. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] Page King WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Any anti-sub is going to be a part of your unconscious mind, which is your sub. It's just all of your fears and such which have personified themselves separately. They're really the same "it"
Not always. It depends on the situation sometimes, it has to do with line of sight. Could you physically see the lightbulb?
Hmm, im not sure. I think I couldn't. :<
It theoretically should work if you understand how lighting works. Do you?
WILD failed last night. Alarm didn't wake me up, I tried it in the morning but I just didn't feel right and eventually got up. WILD is the new technique I'm sticking with though, the more I read up on it the more excited I am to try it every night.
My dream goal would be to have a massive rock-off with my sub (or better yet, my anti-sub). It would last the entire dream and would destroy the city. As in, by the time it's over, the city would be crumbling ruins due to the insane amounts of audible ecstasy.

Dear anyone who has frequent lucid dreams: Pokemon. That is all.
Dear anyone who has frequent lucid dreams: Pokemon. That is all.
done it :3:
done it :3:
I thought you might have. Once I get the hang of LDs this will be the first advanced thing I do. Also Orkel do you have a lot of experience with WILD? I've taken it as my main "way" of getting LDs and will be practicing it for a while. Have you had a lot of success with it?

It's very hard because of the extreme sensations that come when you're going from awake to dreaming using WILD, and sleep paralysis hallucinations, and takes a long time to master because of them. Fear and/or excitement is the most difficult part in WILDs, even more than in DILDs.
My fever dream was much less of a terrifying experience and was very epic. Imagine a 3rd person shooter that is a combination of STALKER, Killing Floor and Half-life. Cthulhu included.
Did you have tea with him?
Yes, I know the ways of WILD. Hopefully my background will help me a little bit. I get sleep paralysis involuntarily at least once a month, often more, so SP doesn't concern me. I have also had these odd feelings (it doesn't happen that much anymore, used to be when I was younger) where I hear somebody talking to me and they say my name really loud and I can almost hear it in real life. The part I'm most scared is going to distract me from entering an LD is the hallucinations. I have never had hallucinations along with my SP, so I'm wondering if I will even get them when attempting a WILD. Well I'm going to try another one tonight, and if I manage to wake myself up and at least get a few sensations, I will surely post about it here.
Also, this is a random question, but is it weird that I haven't remembered any nightmares, even from when I was a child? [editline]25th October 2010[/editline] I don't even experience anything scary when I get SP
boomstick did you see my PM :v: [editline]26th October 2010[/editline] off to sleep now, good night everyone hoping to get a lucid
boomstick did you see my PM :v:
I did, but I forgot to read it :3: I'm off to do that now...
It seems that many of my dreams have a very distinct, and often cinamatic storyline, with few logical fallicies and a constistent linearity I should try making a game out of one or two of them In fact, when I was 7 I made a storyboard out of the longest dreams I had-had at that point. It was a great dream though
No he destroyed an entire port town before Duty decided to kick ass. Why do you ask?
This. It would be pretty hilarious, imo
So, for those of you who do WILD, how do you wake yourself up? I would set an alarm of some sort, but since we live in a small apartment, and I don't want to wake anybody up. How can I set an alarm that would wake only me up and not disturb anyone else?
Isn't there an app for that? Seriously though. Some kind of device with an alarm and a headphone jack. i just use my cell phone and set it on my pillow next to me.
Do you mean lighting in dreams?
Yeah. If you understand the electrical work behind lights, then it should work correctly . Especially if you imagine it hooked up to a battery supply.
I successfully went lucid the other night, and tried talking to my subconscious. It appeared as a guy who looked kinda like me, mixed with Albert Wesker. I tried asking him a question and he told me to fuck off. Is that a normal occurrence? I thought it was supposed to be open with you, since it IS you, in a way.
Had a long dream where the worlds population was nearly wiped out by something. The place was mostly a wasteland. There were these giant facilities, they served as bases for an organization. There were a few left in existence, most are occupied or sealed. One, in the dense north of Russia bordering the arctic ocean on a cliff. It looked like a massive metal rectangle. Me and 20 others made our journey there. we made our way inside. The place was abandoned. inside was a console, This console had many options to check. i followed one directory. it lead me to a few options. one of which was "restore" I didnt press it. knowing it would need a power supply. The Power circuits in this place were fried. this terminal had its own miniature fission reactor. These facilities, they were the backup plan. in case of a catastrophe, they were the system restore. they were plan B. We made out way out of the facility. We were to make our way to the Island base. When I said "occupied" I didn't imply by humans. These were the Expiriments of the organization. They were built by the organization to protect the. bet were ultimetly their downfall. The island was inaccesable by boat, the waters were filled with animals as intelligent as dolfins, but had the size and power of the megaledon, and the nose of a blood hound. The air was guarded by massive birds. reptillian in physiology, but were not cold blooded. the only way in was underground. We used the secret passage tunnels made for an easy escape in case the on-site warhead was to be detonated. The caves were filled with the dead, many of them. they were the ones that almost escaped. the facility had to detonate its on-site warhead after many of there experiments got loose. We didn't pay much attention to that fact though. Only a few of the experiments still roamed the actual facility. most escaped into the great wastes. The remaining were trapped in the lower levels. The facility was not entirely destroyed. many of its levels were spared when the blast doors closed. we wont be traveling down there anytime soon. more to come. This is one of my longer dreams.
Damn, that is an amazing basis for a movie. I would seriously go to watch something like that.
I wish I could lucid dream. I've tried before, but not been able to do it. I'd love to be able to fly and have sex every night. At the same time. :c00l:
Whenever I become aware I never really do RC's it's like I just know it's a dream. I usually stare at a clock and see if I can make the time go backwards though.
have sex every night.
Thats sounds really lonely.

So many possible misunderstandings. [editline]26th October 2010[/editline] Also, I have awesome friends. They know I main Yoshi in SSBM, so they got me these to play in. Got 3-4 lucids last night, it was nice. Didn't do much though, each one was pretty short.
