Make it a competition, like doing more push ups than everyone you know. You'll definetely do it for sure

I'm a real man, I play the push up game. Deck of cards, multiple people. Start drawing cards, do that number of push ups. You better finish.
I think I talked to my sub, lucidly. Eh, you figure it out.
I was in my school, or at least a building that resembled it. I think I was in a classroom with a few other people in it. There were barricades around like those from Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie gamemode. At some point I realized I was lucid, and began trying to explain it to everyone. None of them understood, so I just left the room. I walked down a hall, rubbing my hands, repeating "I want to remain in this dream." I thought I should try summoning my sub conscious. I closed my eyes, and imagined "it" behind me, but I stumbled. So I walked to the wall on my right, closed my eyes, leaned against it, and imagined my sub behind me. I think I tried to imagine it as a red head girl (a girl I don't know, but she gave me head in another dream, that was the only time I remember seeing her) or a girl I know (and am infatuated with), but I'm not sure. I sensed someone walking from around the corner in my direction, but I assumed it was a teacher from my school.
I continued attempting to imagine my sub behind me, when the person walked closer to me, and when I realized she was coming towards me, I opened my eyes. It was the girl I knew. I got the chills for a second, and asked, "Are you my...? but I got cut off, and she responded with "Yes." I remember walking down the hall with her, asking her questions, and I think I had my arms draped around her. One question I remember asking her was, "Why do you do the things you do?" We walked out of what I think was the East wing of my school, and there was some sort of painting on the wall, a giant vine of ivy. There was something about art or something that I remember hearing.
We walked to an elevator, and there were people in it. Somebody said something about "The cake is a lie" and I responded with something like, "Oh, you know that too?" There was a boy, about my age, and I think he was saying something about a plane crash. Then all I remember is a sandy beach, a crashed, small airplane, and there was a man, woman, kid, and I think a dog. I remember thinking the kids parents were killed, and the kid was bleeding. The woman went over to the man, who was unconscious I think, and took a bandanna off his head. She then wrapped it around the kids head to stem the bleeding. The man woke up, and so did I.
Go figure. v:v:v
My High School has a huge ass weight room. Im set for a gym membership..... at least for two more years.

Oh wow. I was totally focusing on 'bettering yourself' in the abstract sense, so I was like "What, does the gym have a soup kitchen or something?"
In retrospect, HUDUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRR
Just realized i was dreaming in a dream.
It was semi lucid. So i decided to go for FILD. I closed my eyes, woke up, and re-woke up in a dream. This dream was hazy. I was in a big grid like area. I closed my eyes, next thing I know im on a bridge. Fun times. I saw lots of girls there. My sub told me he does want sex. So i proceed to "inspect" a few. I walked around after that, Then woke up. Checked the clock. Took me 10 minutes to do that.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]Looked to me that your sub does what it does to help others when you aren't consciously doing it.
Well, it seems like the plane crash might have been more related to the more recent conversation topic. It really does suck when your sub tells you stuff and you forget it though.... that's exactly the issue I'm having with my sub: he doesn't let me remember our talks because he's overly paranoid about me knowing too much. And I don't mean this as an insult, but as a statement of fact; my sub agrees he's too paranoid about that, and he's promised to let me remember stuff in our next talk. Unfortunately, I've been going to bed so late these past few nights, I've had to push the schedule back. Tonight is going to work, though, since my schedule somehow allows me to sleep in to noon.
I really write more than I need to sometimes... -_-
And this is just me, but I'm hoping you mean you inspected the women in a literal sense as opposed to inspecting them with your penis.
Well, it seems like the plane crash might have been more related to the more recent conversation topic.
What recent conversation topic? When was this?
I've been getting a whole lot of deja vu recently
Anything that could cause this? It's really weird, I managed to finish one of my little brothers sentences yesterday :ohdear:
Binaural beats really help. Get a nice, low frequency, around 8Hz, put it on your ipod, listen with good quality headphones. Question what it means.
norly, try it. Here's the site http://www.jetcityorange.com/meditation/fixed-pitch.html
Download "Low Alpha" , or really any other one. Really helps when used in conjunction with FILD.
In other news, my hair is a bird.
Binaural beats are a placebo. Just so you know V:v:V
I had a dream a few nights ago I was in a swamp with someone I can't remember who and I killed an alligator and wore its skin and then I went into my old friend's house who I haven't seen in months and started talking to him. Then I noticed that I was really dirty and muddy so I wanted to take a shower. What the fuck does this dream mean?
Anyone ever hear of the rollover signal? I was reading about lucid dreaming and basically when you're laying down and have the urge to move, DONT. It's the body's way of warning you you're about to fall into sleep paralysis.

Yeah my friends who go through Sleep Paralysis tell me that all the time

You did something that you thought was worth fighting for, but something from the past triggered the notion that it wasn't as good as it seemed and therefore, you wanted to cleanse yourself.
...or at least your subconscious does.
I'm not to good at interpreting dreams.
So I'm withdrawing from this quarter at school, which means I take W's in all my classes and have to move out until next quarter. I need time for myself so I can think, because right now I'm realizing that I'm in the middle of a depression spiral two years in the making.
Which kind of complicates things with that friend I like. I'm confiding secrets and stuff with her that I wouldn't to anyone else because it seems like she genuinely cares, but now it makes me scared to make a move, because if we broke up I don't want to lose a girlfriend AND a best friend. Damn you, relationships.
I had a kind of a lucid dream yesterday. I was sitting in a bus and immediately felt i was dreaming. I remember someone saying that you shouldn't look onto a mirror, but i did (looking at the reflection from the window). Nothing really happened. But i had this feeling that something scary would happen any second so i hid behind a piece of paper (:wtc:) and suddenly, i were somewhere else. In my next dream i got raped by minecraft-looking enemies.

Would lucid dreaming help in your situation, I know it can be used for a lot of real world things.

heard that.
[editline]17th November 2010[/editline]
Oh, and by "W" what do you mean?
I want to help, but I dont really have the best track record for keeping girlfriends.
Probably because you yourself doesn't know the answer, you can't magically gain knowledge in dreams. Need to know it first.
Had another MILD. I used it to do a FILD which i really just turned into a short WILD.
Asked my sub if he can make food in dreams taste SUPeR good. he said no.
I asked if dream characters are also him. he said no. i said "then how can they still talk and converse?" he said he couldn't answer that. ZIN?
Like PyroCF said, at the end of the day, your subconscious is an extension of yourself. Sometimes, they can answer things about yourself, because you tuck things away in your consciousness that can no longer be accessed by you (e.g. distant memories, fleeting information, things sort of absorbed but not really remembered). But yeah, if you don't know something, they won't either. They are you.
I do believe I had my first knowingly luicid dream. It went a bit like this: I was going home from school, I don't know why I was walking because normaly I would have been by bike or bus. Then I realised: What the..wait luicid dreaming test Number one I rember was to push my tongue against my teeth, if I still was able to put it out my mouth it was a dream, so I did it. Then I went: "Wtf holy fucking tittyfucking shit. Why I don't fly?!" So I flew home. The end. :v:

W's are withdrawn classes. They look bad, but not as bad as F's.
So I'm now officially medicated, which is good. I feel weird about it though, like I should be stronger than that or something. Oh well, I'll take whatever help I can get.
Also, I'm now being sued by DMCA for copyright infringement for file sharing. Fuck my life.

Better hope they won't blast you with a million dollar fine.
You managed to get caught? How'd that happen?
I had once a really cool dream where I was at a big farmhouse complex. Then me and the people there had to go hide in a shelter from zombies. Then the zombies died of sunlight in the morning and we had an epic firefight with the cleanup squad.
Stuff including; Desert Eagles, PPK's, MP5K's, ATV's and all kind of awesome hardware.
Dreams like that are friggin awesome.
Edit: Specially when lucid.
A part that I remember really well: An enemy tried to run me over with an ATV but I diverolled to dodge it, used my secondary of a secondary PPK and shot him of his vehicle. Then I proceeded with taking the ATV and the former drivers MP5k.
Heh, I think I almost LD'd a few nights back. I couldn't sleep, so I began saying "I will remember my dreams, I will dream, I will speak with my subconscious." I repeated this a number of times but to no avail. However, my legs, arms, and torso were feeling numb and even a little bit...hot. Not even to cause sweating, but actually warm. It was strange.

Note to everyone here. If a movie came out two days ago, don't go download the fucking torrent. Wait a month.
On the plus side, I do now own Scott Pilgrim.
Well I'm wondering how they caught you specifically.
I had a really weird dream last night.
I dreamt about an army of communist soldiers with time-manipulation devices who were invading my country with fucking plasma/laser rifles. As they progressed, many things in my room kept changing to their past, present and future forms (kinda like in the game Singularity). Even my door kept locking and unlocking itself (opening and closing too).
Fucking time communists.
The dream was pretty awesome.

Note to everyone here, torrents are a lightning rod for DMCA investigative firms. Use IRC or a file sharing service which isn't peer to peer driven.
my god the dreams I had last night. So much adventure and plot.
1. There was a fat lady with huge amounts of makeup called Babyl. As I was riding a rollercoaster, she was waiting at the exit. And when I got out of the coaster, she robbed us all. I gave her some money. She then started strangling a Vulcan who was next to me, and killed him and ran away. I then chased her. Babyl was surprisingly agile. The rest of the dream was chasing her around.
2. I was getting married to a girl I don't know, but she was amazing. Everything went well until the Dogs and Cats came. They weren't your usual dogs and cats, they were aliens who called themselves that. First of all, the Dogs were like mini-gods. They had immense power and ruled over the rest. The Cats were creatures that lived in TV-like boxes, and were worshipped by their followers. They both looked like aliens. Each Cat had their own timezone, like the GMT +1 Cat and so on. So anyways, one of the Dogs along with his followers kidnapped my dream-wife and locked her in a cave with just a bottle of wine and some bread. Then we were forced to go away.
Dream fast forwards several years. I still feel guilt about just leaving her there to die. The aliens are still ruling. I join a kind of a resistance movement with a relative of mine. We are planning to kidnap the Egyptian timezone's Cat. So we go with our futuristic bike-pickup truck hybrid thing. My relative kills the guards, and lifts the TV with the Cat in it on our bike-truck. It's so annoyed.
My relative tells me to take the Cat back to our hideout. So I do. I drive and drive, but SHIT. The leading Dog knows what we're done. So he's waiting for me. And ambushes. Apparently the leader Dog is my uncle.
I get wounded and he takes the Cat away while I play dead. BUT. The Dog proposes a riddle. If I can find his two socks, he will give my wife and the Cat back to us. I'm surprised to hear she's still alive.
Then the great search begins. The blue-white striped wool socks are hard as hell to find. I find one from a tree. The second is a bitch to find and I actually went to ask the Dog, who was mowing the lawn for some reason, and he tells me a hint. "Lightning"
I realize what it meant. I went inside and checked the electrical fuse box that had an electric lightning warning image on it. And there it was inside, the mighty sock.
I then get my wife back in a touching reunion and the Cat returns to us as a hostage. I think it ended here.
3. Fucking lucid dreams, why so scary sometimes. I was in my bed, trying to sleep, when I noticed light glow through my eyelids. You know when you're in the dark, and someone turns on the lights or opens windows, and you can see the light through your eyelids? That's what it was. I opened my eyes slowly, and holy fuck. The window was open, the whole room was filled with sunlight. It looked absolutely unbelievably realistic. I realized that there's no way in hell there could be sunlight in the middle of the night, so I did a reality check. I pinched my nose and tried to breathe. And it worked, I knew at that moment that it was all a dream. As I was rising from my bed, ready to do shit in a lucid dream, scary happened.
My closet door burst open and a ghost girl appeared, rushed towards me screaming. Think of it, it was like real life. How would you feel if that happened just now to you? I got startled and scared as fuck and woke up immediately from the fear even when I knew it was not real.
I'm confused, I had another dream last night where I knew I was dreaming, but it did not feel lucid. This has happened four times now.
It started off with me in a field running along side a large row of trees. I found a random pen so I picked it up and carried on. I found a gap in the trees and just as I was about to go through it my girlfriend came round the corner and said, "we are dreaming together" (or something along the lines of that). I suddenly of all got really excited and was like "Holy crap, I'm lucid" screaming loudly with joy, whilst rubbing my hands. She then ran off so I followed her, after following her for about 30 seconds I thought about waking up and I did. I can't help feeling like it felt like a dream within a dream too.
Although in the dream I knew I was dreaming I still do not believe I became lucid. This is the 4th time now and I'm getting a little pissed off that I am not gaining any control.
Any comments?
