Dream recall is starting to return to normal :D Touch wood it stays on this course!
I'm pretty sure it's knock on wood. Touch wood just sounds gay.
Never heard that version before.
i'm rating you rainbows anyway
Had a dream last night where I got into bed and started thinking about lucid dreaming. ...come on!
some of them I wouldnt mind having dreams about :pervert:
Right..... I'm just gonna not even think about dreaming tonight and rev off any mantras :v:
I wonder why can't i have/remember lucid dreams. I'm pretty sure i have them as my mind is calm when i wake up, and it feels like i have been doing something nice and fun while sleeping
What if we lived in our lucid dreams and our "real life" is only a dream? Oh, FFFFFUUUUUUUUU , unforseen matrix reference. Oh well.
that would be cool. FLYING CACTUSES OMG
I always have problems sleeping; falling asleep, staying asleep, etc. For instance, today I was extremely bored all day long, and I finally felt tired enough to sleep and laid down at about 8pm. I finally fell asleep at around 10pm. I then woke up at 12am, and was unable to fall back to sleep. I don't normally dream (or according to some people, just have absolutely no recollection of dreaming), and I didn't during that sleep either. However, I had finally been able to fall asleep a few hours later for about 30 minutes. Lately I have been having these little 30 minute naps and during them I have these fucked up dreams. I forget them soon after, they seem like maybe a minute or so long if I were to guess... In the one I just had I was in a dark concrete room, the only source of light was through this big doorway across the room. I was chained to the wall by my arms and legs, while on fire. There's this dark figure of a woman I believe, and she walks out shutting the door behind her, ridding the room of light and leaving me on fire. Do you suppose these things have any meaning behind them? I can assure you, they are always fucked up and make no sense to me.
I had the worst start of the week. During the night before Monday, I think i dreamed that it was Friday. So when i woke up, a bit before the clock rang, my first thought was "Ahh, Friday. Nice. Wait, why is it so dark out. Aww crap (this was 6 in the morning by the way)
Had Exploding Head Syndrome Sunday morning. Had a series of short naps and, just dozing after the one, there was a not unpleasant -just surprising - crushing then exploding sensation, followed by a popping noise. Having checked my head was all present and correct, I laid back thinking how bizarre it was. Why, in nature, would we EVER need to experience a head mush in order to wake us up in the morning?!
I have no idea what happened. Help. I got in bed at around 12:30. I very soon, I started thinking in my mind a few scenarios and I guess it just turned into a dream. I was still conscious at the moment, I had thoughts while I would watch this "first person" movie happen. This is what I remember in my dream. I was walking in from some room, I think the art room, into the orchestra room (in real life, they aren't. and I was kind of suspicious of what happened but I let it slide). Then, I saw a friend playing guitar in the far corner. I walked over there. She bragged about having a new guitar. She plugged it in, played it and did work. I looked at the guitar, looked down, then back up. The guitar was drastically different in looks. I said in my mind, "Oh okay wow. This has to be a dream." All of a sudden, my dream stopped and it was just dark. Sleep Paralysis. It was very very short. When I woke up it was 1:51. Why didn't I LD, Why did I go into Paralysis, and What should I do when I recognize dream signs next time.
I must suck at figuring out that I'm dreaming... Monday I had a dream that I was LDing in that dream: I started remembering when I first noticed I was LDing. But later on in this dream, I was woken up by something (so it was a dream in a dream).I quickly went back to sleep and became lucid again. This is where I my memory of the dream fades.
Can't be as bad as me at that :v:
I dreamed I was neko. Next morning I woke up crying.
I had this cool dream last night, about pre-human civilizatons. So basically on Earth, there were other intelligent species before us, they called themselves Octagons, according to the level of intelligence (they called humans Hexagons) and we had this talk with them when they came back from space and it was cool. Also a WILD, woke up a few seconds after rising from my bed though.
I usually have an alarm set for 3 am to wake me up for a WILD, but I didn't feel like trying today. So my alarm woke me up, I shut it off, and went back to sleep. Then my alarm woke me up, said "didn't I just turn this fucking thing off?" shut it off, and went back to sleep. I think I dreamed of turning off my alarm.
I have morning dreams sometimes. It sucks when I have to go through it twice... I had the best pie yesterday night though. Its outside was like crumb cake, but the top was just thick chocolate. The middle was vanilla frosting. Wish I could revisit that dream :v:
So all I remember about my dream last night is that I was playing the Sims, only my Sim's bills were late because of how long it's been since I've played it. If you figure out what that's telling me, you get a cookie. It's sad, though... I thought I would LD because of an epiphany I had (about my lack of LDs), but nothing changed... which I guess is probably more annoying to my sub, who still has been unable to say whatever it is it wants to tell me. Guess the epiphany was all in my head after all... derp Also, I woke up with a cramp in my arm and a bloody scratch on the bridge of my nose. I hate mysterious nighttime injuries... Also, really tough questions all of a sudden... what's that about?
Something is wrong, when I dream I dream of my past memories, but then I change events in them to see what happened instead. So far I have only seen stuff involving online forums where by changing a single post in the thread the entire course of it would go differently.
I had a dream last night where I beat the living shit out of this douche at my school. Twas awesome.
So I dreamt some last night, and I remember more details for some reason. If I had to guess, it's that since I got less sleep than normal, I woke up closer to the end of REM sleep, if not during REM sleep. Anyways,
I remember playing Starcraft, only as I tried connecting to some random game, it turned out there was only one game going because everyone else was playing Starcraft II. Anyways, I suck at Starcraft, so I tried fiddling with the speed to try to get more time to fail (trying to find a speed the people would not slay me for), but by the time I was done with that, they had finished building their bases, and slayed my SCV with their builders. Derp. I stuck around for some reason, and it turned out you got hero characters, so I got a Marine that spawned Marines as it killed. I suddenly felt like I had a chance, but then I realized everyone had built either Battlecruisers or Carriers. Someone quit, so I got some of their buildings, but only the research buildings, which didn't help me at all since they were Protoss. Then, I dreamt up a plot for another Batman movie; Batman mysteriously disappeared from the Justice League, and a kid there wished he could have gone with, seeing as he was Batman's half-brother from another dimension. He couldn't tell Batman that, though, since he was responsible for cuddling him to death in his universe. (I admit, the science here was fuzzy). Also, the main villian was some sort of Tiger woman, who was just a psycho; she didn't have the in-depth planning of the Joker, for instance. I also remember going on a car trip with my mom, a random aquaintance of mine, and his mom. I distinctly remember objecting to my mom's insistince that I wear a sweatshirt, because sweatshirts suck. When I got up this morning, my mom noted a neighbor walking to school wearing a sweatshirt instead of a winter jacket, and I said that sweatshirts were made to be uncomfortably warm, so why not winter? Just a little deja vu there, not that I said anything. Also, I dreamt that I hallucinated my dead cat. I knew it wasn't real, though.
Just want to make it clear to people that I'm still dreaming, but not about anything worthwhile. I don't know what to do... -~-
Everybody needs to take psychology more seriously here, methinks... "Clap if you believe in the subconscious!" Twice people referenced that brain-damaged fairy, as if it's the same situation, and it isn't... not related to current conversation, just a thought failed automerge

This thread is officially unimportant to me. *Birdman101 changed his status to lurker*
Had a very realistic dream last night. I was barely aware the whole time, it lasted about a day. The strangest part happened at the end, though. I laid down on my dream-bed to go to sleep, face-down. Then, I immediately felt this super weird jiggling, vibrating feeling... like sleep paralysis on steroids. I was like " Whoa, I've never fell asleep that fast before!". Then I opened my eyes , which I assumed to be my dream eyes, and did a reality check. I was face-up. I had woken up in real life. Biggest FFFFUUUUUU moment in my entire life. Well, maybe a few exceptions. I'm not indecisive. Am I being indecisive? I don't know.
