The Star Wars franchise just died a little bit more.
I like how they used the exact same voice actors from the Robot Chicken special/skits.
It's totally not lazy.
Or maybe because the writers and directors of Robot Chicken have worked with the VA's for years and they have good synergy?
Guys this isn't meant to be taken seriously it's just like those Robot Chicken Star Wars episodes.
Too bad those were actually funny.
George, stop. What the fuck are you even doing?
Making money and not givin a fuk

What.
How is using voice actors that are already working with you lazy?
The only thing I can picture is that gif of "LET'S RUN THIS SHIT INTO THE GROUND."
Except at this point they've slammed past the floor and are burrowing deep into one of the first circles of hell
I won't lie. That had one funny joke. One.
[sp]When Han Solo put on the Indiana Jones hat. I had a slight chuckle at that[/sp]
Good God.
No.
I like how they've disabled the comments on youtube.
Sorry, but if you look at it as a parody this looks fucking awesome and the art style is great. Kids are going to love this. I think has potential if it's done right.
Which would be great if every single fucking running series hasn't already done a Star Wars parody. It's pretty dead by now.
Not a single joke in the trailer made me laugh and I was trying my best to find it funny. :v:
I'm sure kids these days have a different sense of humor and may find it entertaining - but that's a pretty niche market. I mean, how many small children are super riveted for Star Wars and are even going to understand the non-slapstick jokes?
please
star wars has been dead since Phantom Menace
please

In what way was the Phantom menace a bad movie?
In what way was the Phantom menace a bad movie?
because it was boring as fuck
it focused on a little kid Darth Vader which no one cared about
half the movie was scenes of galactic senates
it had stupid characters (fucking watto)
didn't amount to anything
holy shit a youtube comment I actually agree with
George Lucas is trying to wipe out the originals with the special editions.
In what way was the Phantom menace a bad movie?
The fact that it can't keep basic continuity with the original trilogy let alone itself shows that no one paid attention.
A couple of those were kinda funny. Not enough to make up for the entire thing though.

I actually enjoyed the Senate scenes, but that's the kinda stuff I'm in too.

Their not going to understand them, but they will laugh anyways because that's how kids work.
All you need to do is say something in the right context with the correct inflection and they'll think it's hilarious, just think of all the kids movies that have jokes put in for the parents that you didn't get until you re watched the movie years later, guaranteed you laughed the first time you saw it despite having no idea why it was funny.
I knew seth macfarlane had something to do with this. however the admiral ackbar thing made me laugh
This is bad.
Only two funny parts were the shit making fun of the prequels, the rest was physically painful to watch...
reminds me of yoda stories. make of that what you will

They should've started with Episode 2, really.
The only thing funny in that was the Admiral Akbar skit.
Its to appeal to kids. Not to hardcore Star Wars fans. I think it's pretty cute and I like it. Some kids want to get into Star Wars, but can't considering that the majority of the movies is much like Lord of The Rings - long and boring in some parts. Sure, it teaches them nearly NOTHING about the movies/books/trilogy... But, I enjoyed it.
But most of the jokes are jokes that only people who are hardcore star wars fans would even understand (not necessarily find funny of course). It's another case of George Lucas not having a clue what his target audience is (like all the space politics in the prequels despite the fact it was made for kids)
Guys, this is going to be a television series. Made by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich.
I don't know if that explains it or not, but I'm sure it's not going to help the split between fans over the recent releases from Lucasfilm.
What was the last good one that had their name somewhat related, the Fanboys move, maybe?
I knew seth macfarlane had something to do with this. however the admiral ackbar thing made me laugh
It didn't make me laugh because it's a joke that has been done to death.
Only thing funny was the Matte Painting.
The only thing funny in that was the Admiral Akbar skit.
that was like the least funny thing in the whole video
that was like the least funny thing in the whole video
Oh, I didn't realize opinions were fact.
I've loved Star Wars since I was very little (Born in 1991) and I like this.
Its humour, not meant to be taken seriously.
Not as funny as the Family Guy or Robot Chicken Specials, but I find some of it fnny.
It had some funny jokes, gotta give it that. I really don't mind, it's just a kid friendly star wars.

One thing bothers me though. George Lucas won't fund Battlefront 3, but a freaking child show is okay?
