I like how they've disabled the comments on youtube.
No they didn't.
Some of it was bad, some of it was funny. It won't ruin the original trilogy, but I still think it shows that George Lucas either has very bad taste or that he simply doesn't care anymore.
I can't wait for the merchandise, then I can brag about that sweet Star Wars Detours™ Darth Vader bobblehead all day! (I hope bobbleheads are still a thing in the 21st century)
Oh, I didn't realize opinions were fact.
you know you can just assume that when someone's talking about subjective shit they realise it's just their opinion, right I'm not prefacing everything I say about a book or film or TV series with a disclaimer about how it's just my goddamn opinion because I would have thought people would have figured it out by now
The way "Detours" keeps popping on the screen seemed like a joke trailer. What the flying fuck does detours even mean in this context?
I just saw the embedded video and I'm not even sure if I want to click on it to play it.
I'd watch this. Looks kinda funny.
I've got admit I found some parts kinda funny. The Ackbar and Comedian Mind-Trick scene both made me laugh a little. BUT WHY IS LEIA A STUPID VALLEY GIRL. WHY. At least Lucasfilms is finally admitting that everyone hate Jar-Jar.
To be perfectly blunt this could have had potential if they'd just gone with skewing the films, a few jokes here and there actually "hit" but for the most part the humor just falls flat. Like, the Jar Jar bit and the matte painting were alright, but most other segments were simply painful.
Who thought this would be a good idea? Shoot him/her.
lol ill have to admit i laughed when Obi held the lightsaber up to someone, took all their credits, and said "Ol' ben needs his grocery money" at 1:30
please star wars has been dead since Phantom Menace
I wouldn't say that, I mean The Clone Wars series is quite good...as evident by the season 5 trailer.
The only funny part was the "It's a trap" bit and the Indiana Jones bit made me chuckle...rest was pretty much shit [editline]27th August 2012[/editline] And I guess the matte painting was pretty good too

It actually looks so much better than the cheesy as hell film and the few episodes I had already seen. Also, the fact its Onderon is really interesting to someone like me that has played Kotor 2.

I understand opinions and all but how can anyone find the "it's a trap" part remotely funny? Hahaha overused meme that stopped being funny years ago!
Actually isn't this just basically cartoon Star Wars Robot chicken? The voice actors are the same and it looks like the same skit style.
I understand opinions and all but how can anyone find the "it's a trap" part remotely funny? Hahaha overused meme that stopped being funny years ago!
It found it funny because it was so stupid.
for me it picked up about halfway through, then i was laughing at most of it. sure, why not.
my childhood is being killed and necro raped that said, this isn't half bad on its own merits
holy shit did they completely replace their writing staff or something? that looks awesome
It still looks like it's hauling around the attitude of the prequels like a bag of dead babies though. I mean, it's hard to judge something by it's trailer - but from that alone it seems rather poor. The action scenes still seem to be just a tonne of shit shoved onto the screen, and the dialogue scenes are still doing the shot/reverse shot of two people standing around.
the matte painting in the death star, the fat greasy cafe owner talking about amidala, and the cab on the podrace track these things made me smile, the rest is as someone said: like robot chicken but even less funny
I understand opinions and all but how can anyone find the "it's a trap" part remotely funny? Hahaha overused meme that stopped being funny years ago!
Or maybe we're not so pathetic after all because we just don't look at that shit in the first place?

That looks stupid as fuck, George Lucas what are you doing to Star Wars?
I guess a fuckton of Adult Swim hosted parodies weren't enough so Lucas had to whore the franchise to the "haha so funni randumb xDxD" crowd on his own terms.
The art style is eye raping.
