I hate you for being part of the ??% of unconscious drug users that give all reasonable ones a bad reputation.
I have autism, i DID take ritalin, the reason i stopped with ritalin is because i had frenzy attacks and sleeping problems.
It's a sort of side effect for when the drug is working out. Still other people may say different and have experienced other side-effects.
I don't do drugs, smoked weed a few times, but i get depressive.
it's called hypomania, not "frenzy attack".
when i was first diagnosed they said i was a total assburg. turns out the whole can't read people's signs thing and misanthropy were actually defense mechanisms. i couldn't read peoples signs and hated everyone due to deep paranoid thoughts.
it's not that i wasn't seeing the signs or hating everyone legit, i was just misinterpreting signals.
i'd rather be whatever it is i am now than a sperg. really it would suck to lack empathy and shit like that. i know a few of them. they're pretty god damn lonely and stubborn.

See now this worries me about my step-sister who's young now (with asperger's), but in a few years will become a teen. She's gonna have to go through a lot of shit, and I don't think her parents are going to be able to handle it, she doesn't live with us anymore, she lives in cali, lucky her, least she can get weed all the time for nothing when she's old enough

which is why a heroin habit in the middle east may not be a big deal

and why the war on drugs need to be ended
It does fuck with your mood and & daily schedule if you've got to keep chasing or injecting to not feel like shit. But that's only if you've got an addiction health wise of occasional use I agree.
your ceiling is awesome.
sweet jesus god you can smell the hypocrisy in this thread
thought i was in /r/trees for a second
its possible that im slightly autistic, but im a bipolar I. i smoke enough heroin to make me feel like a giddy schoolgirl, i was just thinking the other day, i could just wonder out in the unlit streets at night, and it would feel as if i were having a walk in the beach. great stuff. too bad its addictive tho
[editline]20th February 2012[/editline]
I don't think my problems stem from a problem of empathy - however, just a general discomfort a large majority of the time, feelling discomforted within your own psyche, heroin changes my psyche into a comfortable place, where i can sit back, watch the world from a distanced view, and entice others with wordplay, being my veil of opiates!
This is a great troll thread OP. Congrats on your mind fucking!

nah this isnt a troll thread, i believe him. he sounds like hes telling the truth
- once you know enough about H, it becomes more enticing. especially knowing that it aint all that harming, most people dont inject it, smoking it for example is a totally different story, its alot more down to earth, pulls you straight out of your head.

Okay keep thinking that.

have you ever done any hard drugs? or perhaps any pain medication pills like Vicodin or Oxycondone?
have you ever done any hard drugs? or perhaps any pain medication pills like Vicodin or Oxycondone?
Nah I stay away from the opiates. I tried oxy once but opiates are too addictive for me.
its true, being addicted to pills or anything is a pain in ass
Nah I stay away from the opiates. I tried oxy once but opiates are too addictive for me.
Exactly, why would anyone want to be addicted to anything, being tied down by a drug is silly
personally i'm adopting if i ever have kids.
i worry what kind of abomination i could spawn. and i'd probably make it with someone just as fucked up as me, so...
im wishing my kids smoke pot atleast, so when I catch them.. Free dope! :D
I wouldn't let my kids smoke pot until their last year of high school and only if they kept their grades at a B+ or more.
I wouldn't let my kids smoke pot in the first place, in the same way I wouldn't let them drink
but what they do is ultimately going to be up to them. I'm not gonna give them a hard time or a beating or something for doing it, I'd possibly even tell them about my times with it
might seem hypocritical but I just wouldn't want them doing it until they're out of school. I know how lazy it can make a person, my laziness will probably be passed on
My parents let me drink and gave me alcohol and I believe it made me a more responsible drinker than most

My outlook on behavior versus weed is that, you would already have to be lazy or a loser, and then smoking pot would simply enhance or show this behavior more. Simply said, Your personality doesn't revolve around weed, you simply already had those traits and weed can help to give into them... sometimes

I agree with this but i would change that thing about the grades since dude its senior year of high school. You already got into college, as long as you coast with B's you should be allowed to party and shit, its the best year in hs.
Anyway i would ask my kids first if they were/are interested in drugs. If they say no, ok ill tell them to come to me when they want to experiment, whether it be drinking, smoking, tripping. HOWEVER, im setting an age limit. Studying psychology has showed me how delicate and plastic our brain is, you arent even fully developed until the age of 22-25. At around 19 i would say is the safest time to begin smoking, or doing any drugs for that matter since all thats left in brain development is myelination of the prefrontal cortex responsible for quick decision making and risk evaluation. These functions arent hindered unless major drug use is being done, so 19 is my limit. Im definitely going to teach my kid about drugs younger in life 16+ to make sure he knows what his/her limits are but i will still punish them for doing it before my 19 year old limit if caught.
This all sounds like a sound policy but it all comes down to the wife allowing me to do so :v:
Here in nz getting into college all depends on your last year of high school so thats why I would do that.

wow that sucks, ours is the second to last year, we send out apps in like the first quarter and get accepted halfway through the year, then its time to slack and party, lol.
Everyone still ends up slacking off the most in our last year anyway :v:

yeah i'm defs a lazy person and have an addictive personality. Weed became a heavy habit that i'd take up whenever I got the chance, even if it was only a 5 minute window i'd toke up then realize that well shit I've missed another school day.
Yea, pretty much the same here, my dad was like well now that you smoke pot you're going to be lazy, I'm like, no dad, I've been lazy, weed makes me lazier when I'm high but that's about it, people think that you become lazy if you smoke weed, and then like the next day (sober) you'd still be lazy... isn't farther from the truth
fuck this guy with his dog and pony show, he's trying to evoke a response, leave him to his Heroin.
woah shit
