I blame Harper and banking too much into the Oil industry.
No, it can't have been Harper setting us up as an oil dollar for years that did this, it happened after Trudeau and Notley got elected, that means it's all their faults. Damn socialists!
This would of never happened if we had elected Mike Harris!
This snow is triggering bad memories of last year. Please, I can't do that again.
I found a playlist on youtube with TV intros which I think any Canadian growing up in the early 90s to the 2000s would recognize https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yim0OMf83iI&list=PLjxlmFJYGrvL7mD4yWl14lOIwpxPy1_k- The playlist was compiled by a Canadian I assume because he has YTV Bumpers in there. I'm 40 videos in and I've recognized all of them. I was born in '91 Though that might just mean I watched too much TV :v:
If anyone is in the Antigonish region between the fourth and ninth of February, I'm in a show Theatre Antigonish is putting on. It'll be a fun time I promise

But I have to say, I feel that this opening is really inferior to the one I watched as a kid. I mean, look at that sick summon at the start!

It's weird because I know all these, but my house only got CBC and CTV as a kid so I grew up with The Littlest Hobo and Mr. Meaty. Mr. Meaty is probably the reason I turned out pretty fucked up

Basic: Channels 2-14, 59-70 and some others Ok: Channels 2-26, 59-70 and some others VIP: Channels 2-70 and some others
I'm sorry but We're looking for someone with a little bit more.........experience.
It's not even that I don't have job experience or anything! I feel like it's a mix of the economic downturn and also job openings tend to be pretty dry around this time of year. I'm just bummed cause I want something fun and easy to do like food or retail while I'm in uni so I'm not constantly relying on my parents for money.

Parents watched CBC all the time but man was the 90's programming dull. Road to Avonlea? Anne of Green Gables? UGH! I do however remember the day I got a portable TV and I'd watch South Park in bed when my parents thought I was asleep.
I used to watch mainly YTV, Teletoon and Disney. At some point, I got really bored of the TV content in the morning as it was mostly for the younger kids and I've outgrown it so I ended up just sleeping in until noon. Then I'd get the shows that were in my age group, or higher. TV ratings meant jack shit nothing as I watched C8 rated shows when I was like 6 and I didn't even know the difference. Nowadays, I just watch the news and nothing else on TV. CBC News Network, CP24, CTV News Network.
I have memorized the entire House Hippo commercial.

Even though the entire point of the PSA was saying they're not :v: I think that was also aired in some European countries. I think I recall someone posting the video in the video section. I wonder where it came from, here or there?
I still see the "We Are Girls" one on TV now & again: It's got to be at least 20 years old by now.
I'm probably gonna end up making one of these TV PSAs at some point in my life
