Ah! I was actually thinking that this week, thought I'd try and see if I can go to Japan before school start as a first trip by myself and also my first time taking the plane. Would be an amazing experience considering I never took the plane or even left North America at all.
Depends how bad the CAD becomes next to the YEN though. Seems to be hovering at roughly 1 CAD for 80 YEN but maybe I'll postpone until our dollar gets back on its feet.
Let me know when if you plan to go, I'd love to go with someone and all my friends are broke.
the caveat to that is I wouldnt trust pot in Alberta, Hear too many stories of people lacing it with meth to try and get the pipeliners hooked on it.
That's not just an Alberta phenomenon, and it only really happens with people who aren't careful or wise with who they buy from.

Just speaking from personal experience.
Trying to persuade a Japanese friend to let me freeload at her place if I go there on vacation, would save tons on accomodation :^)
You're getting pretty desperate to go there. Don't make me show up unannounced.

Wow, that's actually amazing how their homeless aren't trying to get money for a fix, and have made a situation so good for themselves (partially because of Japan's politeness) that they can get by fine even without the system.
Canada FP meet up: Japan? lol fucking weebs
I don't see why not
I want to go to Japan, and not because of, as the kids call it, "muh animez"
I want to go to Japan for the food, fast Internet and transportation. And getting hopelessly lost.
I'm only in for the chicks
Have to go to the hospital before thinking about my future weeb plans though. Got pain in both my flanks, doesn't seem to be muscular, it's as if both my kidneys were swollen as fuck. I don't really have any symptoms beside pain in both areas and just feeling a bit weird but my piss and everything is normal.
Will go tomorrow, fuk bad health. I had a scare a few months ago because I had a lump in my balls which turned out to only be a varicocele so I didn't have to lose a nut.
Gas is $0.84/L.
This is unreal.
Also, damn it Razer. The Canadian dollar isn't that bad... yet.

I saw $.739 in Winnipeg.

It should be fucking $0.65/L with oil being below $30. I mean gas was $1.10 when oil was $160. I blame Chretien for selling off PetroCan. Gas prices skyrocketed once he divested the government of any control they had over them.

Oh wait my parents came back, Costco had $.679/L.
Where are you guys that gas is this low?! It's still in the 90 c here.
Is that winter storm going to hit Toronto at all? I want it to because of snow. Then again, storms can be damaging.

1.06 here in BC but then again they tax the shit out of gas here.

Nope. But BC might get a bit.
Calgary becomes super Detroit.

93c - Ontario. Are your sales tax higher than ours?

It doesn't look like it will based on the forecast. Really hope it doesn't snow as that causes issues at an outdoor film shoot..

Not to mention I'd rather we not get a storm like the one two years ago - all surface subway routes were useless.
Nope. But BC might get a bit.
Ha! Ha! Ha!
You make a good joke!
We only get windstorms here.
I miss good thunderstorms. If we're lucky we get two or three good ones very quickly blow through every year. Ontario gets them almost weekly.
Lowest gas I've seen here in Calgary is 74c.
