Maybe that's what's getting us in Toronto tomorrow. Snow is expected for ~2-3 days. Saturday might drop to below -15
Fuck I want it to be warm and clear on Sunday, I don't want to freeze my ass off at the range.
Blizzard in NS is here, for me at least. God, I hate snow.
Mmmm 40 cm of delicious blizzard snow
only 5-10 here
Only -5 here in Northeastern Ontario, but the snow won't stop coming..
These Chinooks have been great, I only had to wear a touq and a light jacket here and I was still a bit overly warm.
As far as I remember we pay for 25/10, but I'll take 30/7.5.
We also pay for 25/10 from Bell and get this

It's a pretty nice city but downtown is absolutely disgusting. I currently live on the mountain with my family. Don't plan on living in Canada for long though sadly, moving away due to issues

Review of Fibe TV: They advertise 1080p, but that's only for movies. TV channels in HD are presented in 720p and apparently Bell hates interlaced video so they blend the fields and make it all served in progressive, all on the cable box. The PVR is shit. Pause CP24, press play 10 seconds later, it likes to freeze up and buffer. Buffering almost never happens which is good tho. It just sucks that the PVR is shit and when I want to rewind or pause something, I immediately realize it's a terrible idea as it's gonna get messed up later in playback. If you have two TVs, the extra receivers are wireless on 5GHz which is pretty cool. Less cables and annoying crap. It has some smart TV features like Twitter and recently added a built in Netflix app. And of course, that goes towards my unlimited Internet cap. All I watch is CP24, CTV News Network and CBC News Network and I see CP24 dungoofing more than the Fibe TV box. I'm actually too lazy to remember any more TV channel numbers because the Rogers channel numbering is still imprinted into my brain.
That's not normal behavior for your pvr I don't think your shit is configured correctly you shouldn't have access to the speed that's reserved for TV. I think it's mpeg4 format. Pausing and resuming is all handled by your pvr and if it's not working correctly then call up and get them to fix it. Interlaced isn't a thing it should be 30fps each frame being displayed fully assuming no packet loss. Resolution is based on the source I think it has been quite a wile since I interacted with the TV services...
Yeah, I have Bell Fibre and never had those PVR problems.
Rick Mercer, nailing it as always.
America has too many elections, which has ironically made it largely undemocratic. Looking down on America is silly anyway. We have just as much idiocy. It just doesn't get as much attention. [editline]10th February 2016[/editline] http://www.metronews.ca/views/opinion/2016/02/08/adopting-proportional-parliamentary-voting-in-canada.html seems like a pretty good idea.

Well, it's certainly gotten chilly. Natural Ice Box out here in Toronto, only getting colder on Saturday with a high of -17C.
God fucking dammit Vancouver, you can't get much more classy. I get on the Hastings bus and head downtown. The back of the fucking bus is littered with bloody alcohol wipes, sterile water packs and TWO fucking used syringes rolling about.

I wonder if they're going to do about the problem of homeless and drugs.. Also they did a drugs-inc in surry if anyone is interested and seeing part of the underworld that fuels this stuff.
Man, I just love it when 2 days after massive fucking delays make me an hour and a half late to school I end up being 40 minutes late again because of "signal-related problems" on the subway. Fuck the TTC.

Hey, East coast. Remember how you were bitching about the lack of snow and how warm it was? Remember how I told you to shut the hell up because it was going to come? Yeah, it's here.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.
wtf lol down to -50 with the wind chill this night and tomorrow morning, fuk
Seems oddly fitting.
Came back home at 3am and it was -22C outside, not factoring in the wind chill. I was also outside multiple times today. Never again.
Finally got the new damn car, bought a bottle of Calvados to celebrate.
