What he didn't mention was that its so cold in Toronto the bottle of Calvados froze.

Already reached the 40 cm mark in Ottawa, and it's not supposed to taper off until sometime tonight.
Should make for a quiet night at work, at least.
Snowed about 40cm here and it's now being topped off by an ice storm. There's a sheet of ice over fucking everything and it's slippery as fuck. Driving was scary.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas~
Even though it's late...
[editline]16th February 2016[/editline]
Also heard about the ice shit coming in. I wonder if I can slide all the way to work down Sherbourne if I get enough momentum...
What a warm and wonderful day.

also fuck banks.
So the TTC is launching more service on various bus routes because they have new buses now. This is good because it's going to be less crowded. New express bus lines should come by soon too.
There was only like 3 inches in my area today.
im pretty sure it stopped snowing super heavily outside
ended up having to shovel twice, and all together we probably had around 40 cm
As shit as The Rebel can be, I find it concerning that Notley has banned them from covering public events in Alberta.
Darcy Henton, president of the Alberta Legislature press gallery, confirmed that journalists do not need accreditation from the gallery to cover news conferences at the legislature
Yeah, Notley is in the wrong. Good leadership though.

Awful drivers, jaywalkers, crazy cyclists....
Some things never change. :v:
God fucking dammit Vancouver, you can't get much more classy.
I get on the Hastings bus and head downtown. The back of the fucking bus is littered with bloody alcohol wipes, sterile water packs and TWO fucking used syringes rolling about.
I work a block away from Hastings, usually 20-50 used needles here in the stairwells daily.
Also got a dude that gets naked in the fire exits all the time because he needs to check his clothes for spiders.

Shame we gave up streetcars for actual cars and expanded our cities to ungodly levels.
There might actually be a chance I end up moving to Vancouver later this year for some possible jobs, woo.

Then demolishing all the places cars travel :v:

Hope you got good money for rent.

Or sharing a three bedroom apartment with five other strangers. [img]https://facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]

If you can commute I recommend finding a place outside of vancouver that's decently close to your work. Unless of course you're making shit tons of money.
One of the places is near Langley soo it's probably cheap there since it's far away enough from Vancouver? If I get similar jobs with similar pay in Toronto, I'll just stay here.

Nope. You might want to consider a place such as Hope. I hear the apartment rates are still averaging under $500/month.
Surrey is always open, if you don't mind a few drivebys :v:
Langley 2 bedroom apartments go for about 950 a month.Like actual apartments not some illegal suite.

Why am I still friends with this fruitcake?
Bottled my first beer, got 8 bottles. Hopefully it doesn't taste like shit.
nvm lol got rejected
meh, try being asian. most girls arent really into asians :( not to mention a huge double standard in north america: make fun of asians and make really offensive comments = no one bats an eye and laughs with them. make a black joke, gay joke, refugee comment etc everyone's up in arms yelling racism/homophobe/bigot and shit. logic not even once.
Looks like Vancouver's ride on the marijuana grey-zone express is going to end soon.

Goodbye dispensaries every block and across the street from each other. I will miss you.
I can't wait for weed to get formally legalized so we can get Robertson to fuck off.
So I had the "worlds best whisky" Crown Royal Northern Harvest just now, along side the normal Crown Royal and Alberta Premium.
Alberta Premium > Crown Royal > Crown Royal Northern Harvest.
I don't know how this got best whisky of 2016.
