Insomnia leads to ebay shopping. I just bought a Cisco 7940G IP phone for $10+shipping from some guy in Mississauga.
I'm guessing you needed one? Or was it out of boredom?
I didn't need one, nor have I a need for one.
But now I have one :v:

Congratulations! I am excited for your new stage in life.
So my parents are going away for a week and leaving me dosh for groceries. Is it bad that my plan thus far is to buy a shitload of cheap Chinese food and spend the rest of the money brewing beer?

Definitely. Replace the beer with apple juice. Pretend it's beer.
Just kidding, not a bad idea.
So I wandered downtown to watch them shoot a scene [sp]for the new Power Rangers movie[/sp].

Looks like I'm going to Pemberton this year!

Anyone else going/gone before? It looks sweet and it's my first major festival.
Last I remember of Pemberton me and my parents got a hotel over a pub and at 2AM there were cops everywhere. I've never gone back. :v:
All I know of Pemberton is that its a place my friends go once a year to do hard drugs.
Never been but I have story's which is mostly people get really high and party.
It's the ghetto version of Whistler, only there's no hill next to it so you just go there to party, get high and knock a stranger up.

Vomit as well.
Possible Vancouver meetup on the 30th?
I'm up for it, won't be able to get over there till noon though.
I work weekends, no can do.
Well because of the 80's dress code I'll be there regardless. :v:
I'm all the way on the other side of the country, no can do.. unless I fly over there :v:
Lol, recycling props much?

I do really like how we're not suppost to know what this movie is Other than "shirt". Somewhere along the line someone said too much and it spread like wildfire. The local video rental shop even has the Power Rangers painted on the front window. :v:
Gonna love seeing post-production remove "Kamloops" from the "Angel Grove" Re-Max office.
Maybe it's not in the shot, something is blocking that portion of it, or there's enough camera shake to hide all of it. Also props can be expensive, might as well reuse what's in Stock.
Something happened nearby outside. There was a bright flash and what sounded like lightning.
But there's no clouds. And there's sirens.

Oh shit, somebody slammed into 2 traffic lights and took them out of the ground.
That flash was a large electric burst from uprooting the lights.
Is it unethical to not study for an ethics exam? Because I have one tomorrow at noon and I have no intention of studying for it until tomorrow at 9.
Is it unethical to not study for an ethics exam? Because I have one tomorrow at noon and I have no intention of studying for it until tomorrow at 9.
Most philosophers concur that it is illogical and therefore likely not ethical to not associate yourself with your future self. Nagel argued that to have reason for something in the future is to equally have reason for it in the present, but expressed differently. To do otherwise is to fundamentally leave yourself open to self-contradiction - self sabotage. This, if extended to the reasons of others, becomes a sort of morality. If you limit it to your own reasons then ultimately it is prudence that you are lacking.
Walking around downtown Toronto today was great. The weather was just great.

In the end ethics is something that can't be stated as fact. So really it comes down to how you look at it.

According to one of the lecturers it is. He said ethics is timeless and universal. Literally everyone in the class disagreed.

Either way I studied an hour and a half and finished in half an hour, it was the easiest exam I've ever taken.
Huh, power is out in my neighborhood.
House of Lords on Yonge street is a cool place to get your hair done. It's an old hair salon that has apparently done some work on rockstars in the 80s and 90s.

There are better places to go. In my experience it has often been dirty and a bit sketchy.
My family's been going to the same barber shop for 4 generations, though a few years back it did change ownership after the old Italian guy running it got cancer.
