So at Anime North this year one of the artists had art based on the old Concerned Childrens' Advertisers PSAs. I got $3 off this one by reciting, from memory, the entire House Hippo commercial. [t]http://i.imgur.com/DfbiTol.jpg[/t]
I believed House hippos were real for so fucking long.
don't pretend they're not real
They only say they aren't real because the government doesn't want you to know. :tinfoil:
They only say they aren't real because the government doesn't want you to know. :tinfoil:
It's really unspeakable what they did to the guy who pushed this ad. I guess the truth hurts both ways, but thanks to that unnamed valiant whistleblower, the masses are waking up to the reality of the american house hippo.
America is a crazy place. They have a button for summoning Kraft Dinner! Why don't we have those!?
Just got a call from my mom, my grandmother passed away in a hospice this morning.

Well, I'm officially into my new house now. Feels weird living on my "own"
Well, I'm officially into my new house now. Feels weird living on my "own"
I've been "on my own" for about a year now. I'm scared. Everything is fading and I only have $70 left in my account.

Fucking wood ticks. I was in the shower and when I scratched my ass I found I was bugged.
Fucking wood ticks. I was in the shower and when I scratched my ass I found I was bugged.
I've never had a tick, but ever since they were explained to me I've been paranoid about trees, which sucks cause my house is basically in a forest.
Anime North was fun, I was running around with a camera doing interviews and filming stuff. [t]http://i.imgur.com/U8naZuw.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/R76d3VR.jpg[/t]
It feels so weird that all of this was just a week ago..
It shat rain on me on my way home from a videography job tonight. And just four hours previously is was sunny and hot without a cloud in the sky. Fucking Toronto weather.
Today (well technically yesterday now) was a bright, warm, sunny day. I'm glad there was such nice weather for my grandmother's funeral and wake. Also getting drunk on Krupnik and beer at noon is a terrible idea, because you're hung over at 9.
It shat rain on me on my way home from a videography job tonight. And just four hours previously is was sunny and hot without a cloud in the sky. Fucking Toronto weather.
Yeah... it was sunny all day and then I stopped paying attention. Took the puppy out at night for a pee and we both got soaked.
I lived on my own from 2010-2015. I moved back home with my folks and brother when I realized I can save more money that way.
I'll probably move back in with there, it's just a lot easier to live in Antigonish while I'm doing my degree
It shat rain on me on my way home from a videography job tonight. And just four hours previously is was sunny and hot without a cloud in the sky. Today was weird, it just rains randomly in Toronto.
Today was weird, it just rains randomly in Toronto.
Vancouveritus. I'm sorry man. It's terminal.
Vancouveritus. I'm sorry man. It's terminal.
If it means it'll by 15 in January here then I'm all for it.
Took on my way from work today. Always love this moment on Gardiner just after the Jameson Bottleneck. [t]https://scontent-yyz1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/13391616_10208117038816342_7392922604221574575_o.jpg[/t]
Wow Toronto has changed a lot since I was last there in 2000.
Wow Toronto has changed a lot since I was last there in 2000.
Yes, downtown is literally all condos now.
Really fucking expensive condos. [editline]7th June 2016[/editline] By the way, if you're in/around Scarborough, come by the Scarborough Arts Film Festival, I'm filming for them and they have some neat stuff there.
I remember so little of Toronto from when I was a kid since all I've been doing since then is drive past it but never into it. My literal only memory I have of Toronto was that my dad bought me a hot dog from this hot dog stand next to some huge skyscraper. That's my only memory of Toronto. I think it hit me because it was my first time seeing a food stand on a street corner, we don't have that in Montreal.
