What is life and what is happening what is going on anymore what is this
You though I was joking, but the only joke is the people who prove I wasn't.
Can anyone here speak to what it's life serving in the forces? My friend who's interested in a career in policing is considering joining and having her Police Foundations college course paid for, then moving on to become a member of the Military Police. I was already kinda worried about her going into policing but the whole military aspect that's now a part of it scares me. She's also expressed interest in just remaining a member of the force for 25 years to retire with a full pension.
I'm trying to remain impartial, but any information about serving in the Canadian military, life during it, life once you finish (readjusting to civilian life and making friends with non-military folk in particular), and/or military policing please let me know.
She's my best friend and I care for her a lot, I want to support her but I'm also worried that this could be a very lifechanging decision.
Any arguments or info either for or against it are welcome.
Look at the website for information about the Canadian Forces.

I'm aware, but I'm looking for people who have experience with the real life ramifications of becoming a member of the Force, I have gone through the website and learned as much as can be from there, but it's written with an obvious bias and doesn't have information on certain issues.

I called the RCMP on you. It may take some time though because I just told them you were "somewhere in Canada"
Is that the monthly data cap? I've fortunately never used Bell aka ComcastCanada
For their prepaid, yes. The only reason I'm on Bell is that I get a really good deal through work. $35 for 3GB of data, unlimited calling, unlimited texting. I'm saving so much compared to my old Rogers plan, I ended up getting a Rogers LTE dongle on a month to month plan to use when I'm outside Bell's coverage and I'm still coming out ahead. When I don't use it, the service drops down to $5/month. The rates afterwards suck, something like $10 for 100 MB, $20 for 500MB and $40 for 5 GB. At any time I can change it to a plan that starts at $10/month with better rates, though I rarely go above the $10 tier. Even on the $40 tier, I'd still be saving money compared to what a new Rogers or Eastlink plan costs.
I have my last exam of my university career today at 9. How do I know it's my last? Because thanks to mad bellcurves on the midterm, I only need to get 20% on this exam to pass the course.
Then I need to get a real job and learn how to adult.

If they have a penis of any size and at least one testicle, nope, they're still part of the patriarchy.
Some times I feel like my music degree is useless but I'm studying what I love so fuck it
I have a question about the Canada Post lockout.
Will my packages be safe? I have 2 coming in, one from China Post and one by the United States Postal Service. I'm worried about the transfer between postal services.

Right when I was about to plan to get Amazon Prime and go buy a bunch of crap I don't really need and get it shipped to my place. Oh and also buy stuff off eBay that is shipped from Asia. I guess I'll have to wait a month and a half for my stuff.
So Zeke just requested a permaban...
Is he all depressed again? Dammit I liked his post humor. ;_;

Amazon is using Purolator instead of Canada Post for the time being, so no need to worry about them.

Wikipedia says
The H0- prefix is an anomaly: the 0 indicates a very small, rural village, but H is used to designate Montreal, the second-largest city in Canada. As such, the H0- prefix is almost completely empty.
wait the postal code actually means something?
I though it was just random to label zones.
