YAY CANADA!
I'm finally cleaning the shower in my basement that hasn't been cleaned in about 10 years. I used so much Fantastik the whole basement smells like it and it burned my throat because I inhaled a bunch of it.
is crystal pepsi being sold in Canada?
is crystal pepsi being sold in Canada?
Limited time, all major retailers should have it.
TIL 10 years of soap scum simply does not come off glass, no matter how hard you scrub with a Magic Eraser. I guess Mr. Clean can't clean every room in my house. There's much less mold now though, but not even all of that is gone.

The sulphuric acid-based stuff removes just about everything!
Well I don't know where the gas mask is and I'm too lazy to go look for it so that's off the table.
But with the gas mask you can contribute to the fine tradition of FP and its Gas Mask thread! Do it for tradition!
even glass
You're thinking of hydrofluoric acid. Or maybe even Chlorine Trifluoride!
Started my job search today. Realized that I'm scared to work in a place I know nothing about and that my degree is worthless because every job wants you to have a shitload of experience already working that job as well as a degree. Maybe I should just join the army.

Everyone else probably has more experience than I do, meanwhile I just graduated.

Reminds me of this thing I saw, some company was asking for someone with 10 years of experience in Node.js and the creator of Node.js sent them a message saying he only had 7 years of Node.js experience but if it was still okay to apply for the position (Node.js was only 7 years at the time so I don't think anybody could have more experience in Node.js than the fucking creator of it himself). It's fucking lame. Entry level jobs are asking you for 4 years of experience already, Entry level jobs and x years of experience should not be in the same sentence.
My manager just hires old people. I wish there wasn't a gap of 20 years between myself and everyone else. Also their cash handling skills are abysmal.
"Hello, recent graduate from college/university, do you have 4+ years of experience to bring to this job?" "No, I just graduated from college, but part of my program was a 5ish month internship" "Sorry, we're looking for more experienced applicants". (Some time later, on the internet) "Damn millennials are so lazy, why can't they just get a job and move out before they're 23?"
I found a job that was actually entry-level and that I probably qualify for in an engineering field and then suddenly I got nervous about actually applying for it. I think I should actually apply for it and stop being nervous, or else I'll end up working retail the rest of my life.
Anyone ever got anything out of an internship such as a job offer afterwards?
Anyone ever got anything out of an internship such as a job offer afterwards?
I got hired on at the place I did my co-op at.
Anyone ever got anything out of an internship such as a job offer afterwards?
I might get to work for Big Brother Canada's next season if they need more PAs.

I then worked for a year and a half at below what I was offered and below the wage the other place paid me. That was the same place that didn't pay me overtime. I learned from that job never to trust a person's word. If you're offered anything get it in writing.
Why is it that every brand I can get a discount for through my work isn't selling winter clothing, even through their discount program, right now? I want a winter jacket in the middle of July because I'm hoping to be working a different job in September and thus be ineligible for the discount, why is that so hard?
Hey all, wondering if one of you guys could help me out regarding driving to Canada from the US. Heading to the US in a couple of days, my partner and I intend to drive to Canada while I'm there, what do I need for a boarder crossing. Car is in my partner's parents name, do I only need proof of insurance and rego? Also visas, I'm an Aussie citizen, do I need a visa to go across or like Americans, is it visa free entry? There doesn't seem to be anything definite on that. (partner is American citizen)

They don't even ask for the registration of the car. Just don't bring any drugs, guns, anything else weapon-related that may be controlled by the US ITAR regulations, and make sure that any alcohol or tobacco you are bringing in is within the duty free limits. Also don't try and take and Cuban cigars or Kinder Surprise eggs back to the US from Canada, both of those are illegal there and you will be charged with smuggling. Also don't try crossing the border with any fruit, veggies, or meat, most borders don't like produce crossing them.
I fucked up my face after a few too many, and now it hurts to play Trombone and I'm sad

Make sure you got your passport on you as well for both of you. I couldn't see visa being a problem if it's only a trip where you're being a tourist. Though I can't say for sure if that's all you need.
