I've been updating Windows 10 over Wireless G all day.
So little for welding jobs atm.Ended up going back to work at the place I was at but giving my notice for the 31st enough has been enough.
I hate being a redhead sometimes. I put on SPF 60 twice and was outside for 2 hours tops and still got a pretty bad sunburn. I thought going into IT would be a guarantee that I'd be stuck in an air conditioned room pushing buttons on a computer at a desk. The wireless internet industry is pretty much the opposite :v: That said, I'm not complaining too much, I don't look like a pale-ass geek anymore. I could almost pass as someone does interesting things and doesn't just sit in front of my computer in my free time.
I'll take your WISP castoffs :v:
Daym boys, it's so humid and hot it's hard to breath. I legit need a 3 minute adjustment period until I can feel comfortable outside of my AC'd room.
I feel you. Just walking outside after work is terrible. At least it's supposed to cool down tomorrow for craft beer fest.
I didn't check my hat for spiders when I put it on. I took off my hat and a bunch of daddy long legs fell on my lap :( But now it's off to the Abbotsford International Airshow where I get to see an F35 fly around.

Jesus are we still trying to buy those things?
These are American jets.
Craft Beer Fest was fantastic again this year, the only problem is when you start drinking at like noon you end up with a hangover at like 8.

Half a month in with the new housing tax. A seagull just pooped on my head. It was hot and runny. I found $5 in the Starbucks washroom as I was cleaning myself.
Watching the Hip Concert on a youtube livestream. If you happen to see this while it's still going on and want to watch, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6pwkHjRWuM
I'm listening to it on the radio and recording it to tape in the process. Fucking CBC has basically stopped everything to air it.
I was more surprised that it was live streamed on YouTube with no regional restrictions IIRC
Got my first phone interview for a job I applied for literally yesterday. Considering the phone woke me up, being told "I'll forward your resume to my manager and call you if they wish to arrange an interview," is a good thing. I hope I at least get an interview, I want some hope that I can be done with my shitty retail job by the beginning of fall.
So I came across this video: https://www.facebook.com/canadianaficionado/videos/1175798099124663/ And found it by searching "justin trudeau poutine weed" on youtube (1st result) :v:

I wonder if I will actually get this job. I feel like it's going to be more about me selling crap but oh well.

I need to study, they said there "may" be a technical quiz, which means there's going to be a technical quiz.
Oh god there's a buzzfeed article about one of the people running for Mayor of the town I used to live in

Soggy fries: Is everyone with me when I say they're terrible no matter what?
Unless it's soggy poutine, then it's gravy infused fries.
I put on my size 34 dress pants today that I got with a suit for my commencement about 5 years ago and came to the conclusion when looking in the mirror and struggling to close the clasp on the pants that I've gotten fat. Fuck. Looks like my shit diet and lack of exercise have finally caught up to my metabolism.
