Yeah it was annoying as fuck because I works security in downtown Hali and my manager called like three times to give me accurate updates. Don't think I actually listened to a word he said until the third call lmao
Stfx hasn't been hit with any yet, but at this rate it's only a matter of time
Again? Is this going to be a daily occurrence for a while?

Why the east coast? You'd think they'd do it in someplace like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, or Calgary.
So I tripped over while drunk and grazed my head, when asked about it I flippantly said a bear attacked me in my neighbourhood.
Town's newspaper headline for today is: "Bear sighting in <my neighbourhood>" :v:
Ooops.

Someone's probably just angry that their pizza place ran out of garlic fingers

Crossing the Atlantic in a week guys. Got any good shit to see in Yellowknife ?
I know there's a hotel that you can drink a glass of alcohol with a toe in it, and if you swallow the toe you gotta pay like a grand or something. Other than that Yellowknife is pretty out there, not much I can think of except historical stuff about the gold rush, frostbite, and nature.

Why are you going to Yellowknife? Who is making you do this to yourself?
I'm just staying a month. [sp]And then I'm flying straight to Alaska :v:[/sp]
Can anyone recommend a USB powerbank that I can run things off of while charging? I think the trademarked term is 'powerpass'.

I'm sorry for your loss.
The CRTC is going to be doing a Q&A on reddit? That's going to go well. Queue thousands of people thinking they know the best way to run every single telecom company in the country.
The CRTC already did a Q&A on reddit and basically asked if people liked companies being able to charge different data rates for certain applications. Many of the responses were well-thought-out criticisms of the idea as a violation of the principles of net neutrality, and pointing out that if companies can afford to not charge data for certain applications then all data caps must be artificial and data must not actually be as expensive as telecom companies make it out to be.
IIRC the most expensive gigabyte to transmit over a wired connection costs a grand total of $0.08, and it is to transmit it from South Africa to Europe. Most data transmission costs less than a penny, and yet companies charge more than $2/GB when people go over their limits.
I'm charged $10/GB for overage, then again I'm one of the people who have 6GB of data for $35.
Data caps are dumb and I wish they were completely removed.
Reminds me of a time when I was tethering and I went over my data cap since LTE is so damn fast. I stopped using the shitty program that caused it tho.

Magic. You can't get this anymore even if you tried. Unless you find someone to give the account to you. I got it like 2 years ago because my account was a business one and I got it. Now when I call Rogers, they don't give jack shit to me anymore. I'll be keeping mine forever now since I actually do use 5-6GB of data streaming music and doing whatever I want with it. It feels like it's unlimited too.
