So apparently New Brunswick is trying to push people with tech jobs to move there, the provincial government even set up a site for it. Kinda debating applying for some, but at the same time not sure if I want to move to a province with less people than the city of Mississauga. It's also a bit of a pain in the ass to move between provinces when you have guns.
oh man those house prices :v:
Man, now I'm debating whether I want to eat for a week or buy a house in New Brunswick with prices that low compared to Vancouver.
AYYYYYYYYYYYY Congrats, man! Now it's off to the working world! [sp]I'm on my 8th straight day of 12 hour shifts. Kill me now[/sp]
I'm trying, apparently the working world doesn't want me or something, finding a job is hard.
I'm trying, apparently the working world doesn't want me or something, finding a job is hard.
Amen to that. Took me a year to get my first studio job, then it lasted about 6 months before the contract ended and I was out of work for 3 more months. Got a year contract now though, so should be good once they stop slaving me over 12 hour shifts.
[t]https://i.sli.mg/aR8Jw2.png[/t]
Damn, that thing costs almost as much as half a years' rent in Toronto.
Man, now I'm debating whether I want to eat for a week or buy a house in New Brunswick with prices that low compared to Vancouver.
The problem with out east is there's almost fuck-all for jobs. If I could take my current $12/hr job and move out east I'd do it but I'd go out there, find a similar job and barely make $9/hr.
A job is better than no job :^)
Is that PER MONTH?! Suddenly, Sudbury rent doesn't seem so bad.
You sound so surprised, but I look at that and go "Downtown penthouse? Yeah that sounds about right." I mean look at what's included and the area. It has a private elevator and it's in the heart of downtown right near the waterfront, of course it's going to be stupid expensive.
Even Laneway homes here are ridiculously expensive. I'm not plunking down $250000 for barely 400 square feet of space.
Boy, moving out is going to be fun. And by fun I mean several months of hell trying to find something affordable. If my girlfriend isn't still on the "no, we MUST get a condo" train.
Depends on where you are, I guess. What do you consider "affordable"?
Depends on where you are, I guess. What do you consider "affordable"?
Nothing in Toronto is affordable.
Parent's basements are affordable.
They also have a repelling effect on girls.
They also have a repelling effect on girls.
I had girlfriends while I was in my parent's basement during highschool and times off during college
