Get out of Yellowknife. Why are you even still there?
I like it here, plus the pay is real fucking good.
I like it here, plus the pay is real fucking good.
You're either a rigger or a miner if you're making that kind of dosh.
I'm an IT tech.
Vancouver has a serious homeless problem, cool place though.
Vancouver has a serious homeless problem, cool place though.
If you wanna live in an RV I got some sick places you can park without bylaw being a bitch.
If you wanna live in an RV I got some sick places you can park without bylaw being a bitch.
Dope, but I've already left. Thanks for the offer tho.
Vancouver has a serious homeless problem, cool place though.
Did you go to the Downtown Eastside?
Population (2011) • Total 18,477 for the greater DTES area • Estimate (2009) 6,000 - 8,000 for the DTES

As of 2009, the DTES was home to an estimated 1,800 to 3,600 individuals who were considered to be at "extremely high health risk" due to severe addiction and/or mental illness, equivalent to 60% of the population in this category for the 1 million people in the Vancouver Coastal Health region.

The greater DTES area is significantly poorer than the rest of Vancouver, with a median income of $13,691 versus $47,229 for the city as a whole.[81] 53% of the greater DTES population is low-income, compared to 13.6% of the population of Metro Vancouver.
That one day of snow in Vancouver is more like half a day, then rain until summer, which is slightly warmer rain
I remember that good snowfall in 2012. Fucked the whole morning commute up.
Did you go to the Downtown Eastside?
Yep, although I thought it was called east hastings. Was wondering around Gastown and strayed a bit too far. Proper fucked shit, saw some people injecting and fuckloads of needles.
I've been hearing that it's almost non-stop ambulances right now because of the Phentynol crisis. I really gotta see this.
Yep, although I thought it was called east hastings. Was wondering around Gastown and strayed a bit too far. I personally try to keep clear of the area between Gas Town and Commercial road myself. Also it got a cool (and looooong) song). Heres the good part for brevity: [editline]27th November 2016[/editline] Also according to my weather station its rained 23 days this month so far. We're giving October a run for its money! [editline]27th November 2016[/editline]
Lost two friends to it in the last couple years, and they lived in West Van. The exact opposite of the DTES. The shit drugs are /everywhere/, you can't escape them if you are doing opioids
Having worked in West Van (Park Royal Village) if it isn't the drugs its the rich people ignoring traffic laws that will kill you. I have seen far too many pedestrians getting hit by motorists in that place. Also the amount of people doing U-turns infront of a cop car on the western intersection.
8 people OD'd in a day here because of it.
It's official. Great Value popcorn chicken is way better deep fried than it is oven baked.
It's official. Great Value popcorn chicken is way better deep fried than it is oven baked.
I think that's true of most things
I've been hearing that it's almost non-stop ambulances right now because of the Phentynol crisis. I really gotta see this.
I worked security in Downtown Eastside for 1 year and 1/4 and that's a bit of an exaggeration. There were probably overdoses 1~3 times in our building every month, but they all were revived on scene. Lotta drug use but no one is going to fuck you up for no reason, everyone keeps to themselves pretty much.
He's not saying someone's gonna fuck you up, it's that people are fucking themselves up on phentynol, ergo ambulances everywhere
Yeah, the OD's are way more prominent. Last time I was down there I was going to buy a clock from a street vendor but the guy next to him proceeded to OD and everyone cleared out as the ambulance showed up.
Guys it isn't raining today! Its a miracle!
Guys it isn't raining today! Its a miracle!
Don't worry, the wind will come to fuck us up now :v:
Snooooooooooooow !
I swear, if it fucking rains on Friday....
It's too cold for rain here. Only snow now. Until like June or smth.
Don't worry, the wind will come to fuck us up now :v:
I personally like that one time a substation exploded.
Kellie Leitch wants to legalize pepperspray. Probably one of the only things most people will agree with her on, considering I've heard that she's an unpersonable cunt.
So I'm getting my first car in Canada and it's a Suzuki Sidekick. A guy had it in his backyard for years and just gave it to me. Just needs a new battery.

Because I know in Ontario the safety standards can make buying used obnoxious because a cheap car may require thousands of dollars of work to get it certifiable, and thousands more to actually make it half-decent.

Once I get it working I'll have to melt the ice from the doors in order to get in and start it to get the heat going :v: . Yellowknifer problems. I'll get the car to a mechanic tho I'm not crazy.

People just carry that instead of pepperspray.
It's pretty moot either way since bear spray is legal. People just carry that instead of pepperspray.
Try justifying why you have bearspray to a cop in downtown Toronto, a place with no bears.
