Holy hell Ribfest is jammed. It's going to be hell driving home.
Holy hell Ribfest is jammed. It's going to be hell driving home.
A six minute drive to see fireworks turned into a 50 minute drive home. For some reason they shut down the road I was taking and I had to detour with half of Sudbury. A guy in front of me was freaking the fuck out in his car. Flipping out on the sun visors, shaking the car, revving the engine. I was a little worried he was going to slam into reverse and hit me. I was playing Tame Impala's "It feels like we only go backwards" with my windows down, I'm wondering if anyone was enjoying it as much as I did.

I got home in about 20 minutes. I was so relieved.

I was regretting the decision the whole drive back. So much wasted gas.
1 minute before end of canada day
Really regretting Ribfest and vodka right now, wish I had a handy squirrel to pop out of a tree and hand me some Pepto.
Anyone want to meet up in Vancouver in the next 2 months? (And Toronto during/after September?)
Holy fuck I just dodged a bomb. I'd be up for Toronto, assuming my school/work schedule isn't ass. Also, a Tory MP is floating the idea of making Turks and Caicos the 11th province. Sounds interesting, and would probably go over better than that "annex Florida" idea that pops up every once in a while.
Holy fuck boys I doubt I'm the only fan that's celebrating this announcement.

It's something that would be cool to have, and probably a lot of fun, but in the end it would be way more to look after it than it would be worth. Unfortunately, I think she is right.
Well the thunderstorms in Toronto have knocked the power out, but I'm still getting 3 bars of signal on my phone thankfully.
So now that Toronto is flooding, it is my opinion that Canada is starting to sink. In a cruel twist of fate, Richmond will be the only thing that remains.
Fuck it was really hot for two weeks. Now this week it's all rainy and shit.
NB looks well, exactly like NS I'm houseboating for the next few days, and damn do you get a nice view
damn son http://www.thestar.com/photos/2013/07/08/flooded_train_rescue.html I'm so lucky, I live in a condo and I didn't have work yesterday... my power still went out but oh well
Could someone out east explain to me your weird fucking traffic signals?

It's more than just a light turned 90 degrees. They've been like this as long as I can remember going back in the 90's.

I remember those from when I went to Hull, they're so strange in comparison to Ontario's 3 light (with up to 2 turning lights) configuration.
Quebec, man. What can I tell you.
Not an excuse. New Brunswick as them too.
