I drove right through Fredericton today, on my way back to NS

It's something that would be cool to have, and probably a lot of fun, but in the end it would be way more to look after it than it would be worth. Unfortunately, I think she is right.
The healthcare system and welfare system already have enough of a burden dealing with impoverished communities in far flung northern regions.
Saw a bear in our front yard today:

He was walking around the front, then went around my car after sniffing it for a second and took off down the road.
Took four hours to turn four frozen Pizza Pockets on the dash of my car from frozen blocks to hot and completely cooked.
I made a joke about Oshawa to a jewish person, I feel terrible now.
Holy fuck, trying to change my address with anything related to the Canadian government is a pain in the ass. I tried to change the address on my drivers licence and health card online, since they claim it's easy and only takes 15 minutes. For some arbitrary reason, they wouldn't let me. I have to fill out a form and mail it in. To change my address with the CRA, I misplaced my tax return (I moved, it's probably in the least accessible place possible and I'll find it 8 months from now) and they need a line on it to continue. Otherwise, I have to write a letter to our local tax center, according to the guy on the phone. If I'm lucky, I could probably get the information from our family's accountant.
I mean fuck, I have my birth certificate, passport, health card, drivers licence, SIN card, photo ID from my college and my current place of work (local police) ALL IN FRONT OF ME and that's not enough for them to believe that I am who I say I am without having to write letters.
They can't run a website to save their life. Hell, they're even running a version of Archive.org's Waybackmachine on their own sites since they can't trust their own webmasters to keep a page online:

I moved two years ago and they still haven't acknowledged that I've changed my address. MSP acknowledges it, but every other part of the provincial and federal government thinks I live at my old address.

Yeah, and it costed me around 145 just to replace my lost passport.
They should have like a 20 or maybe 30 dollar replacement fee you know, instead of making you apply for a new passport all over again.

Be thankful you don't also have to deal with a gun license, or they'd ask you even more stupid questions.
So, apparently summer season also means Canadian chat thread goes inactive for awhile.

We kid, but it's really because it's easier to go outside and do things when it's not -20.
Too hot, crave winter.
I haven't done anything all summer, I feel like I'm wasting it

Or people are working all summer to afford school, especially in Ontario, it's expensive as fuck here.
Government still hasn't got my address figured out, just received another piece of mail (via previous landlord) from them with my old address.

We're the ones who have reason to riot. I couldn't quote it to you, but I feel like we must have the highest domestic tuition rate in the country.
Also, it totally baffles me that each provinces treats students from other provinces like foreigners. Couldn't be stupider.

We do have the highest tuition. I'm also appalled that Quebec treats people from other provinces as foreigners in their university system, but treats French citizens as if they were Quebecers.
I managed to get all my stuff changed last week. I didn't even have to go outside since I'm working in the city's PD for the summer, which is a part of the city building.
Something is wrong with my washing machine, all my clothing comes out much smellier than when it went in.
Its as if someone replaced my detergent with piss!
@DaCommie,
So apparently we stole your ram.

There is a little yappy dog across the street who hasn't stopped barking for two hours.
This isn't helping the migraine I have.
Give it a steak or something, that'll shut it up
I haven't done anything all summer, I feel like I'm wasting it
Isn't that what you're supposed to be doing?
Isn't that what you're supposed to be doing?
I was literally sitting at home doing nothing
I actually did get out more afterwards, with almost no negative side effects
So some friends and I went to the Storm Crow on Commercial Drive last night. The service was absolutely terrible; took them over an hour and a half to bring me my first order of fries and beer.
My fries were cold and my beer was warm.
