Alright time to start some shit
I want help (from you? someone you know?) creating a logo for the Office québécois de la langue française.
Hear my case. Some of us are familiar with these nutcrackers not just because they live in Quebec but because they've recently been a parody of themselves. They've been going after Anglophones for years now, but since they've started going after ethnic food restaurants they've been getting the bad press they've deserved all along. I for one would like to take advantage and press of this situation to do something fun.
Some of you who are familiar with them may also be familiar with their extremely derogatory nickname in English (which has a simple French translation): The Apostrophe SS/ L'apostrophe SS. My idea is simple: make an SS mock-logo for the OQLF. Maybe upload it to Wikipedia - get it out there and on the internet and impossible to escape.
I'm pitching this to you folks because I'm not a good artist, otherwise I'd simply do it myself.
Think about it.

Beautiful city but why is everyone in Victoria/Saanich rude?
Even the ferry ride to the island was vibrant and fun and everyone was friendly, while the one back was glum and mopey and everyone stared at their feet the whole time.
Sidney was cool tho
Winnipeg here.
Why am I seeing bits of grass in February? Am I in an alternate universe?
Ooo we have a new thread, smells like maple syrup and snow.
Add me to that list, Toronto/GTA.
Sudbury, Ontario here.
How are my fellow Ontarians handling digging out?
It wasn't as bad as they said in my opinion :v: That one Friday storm awhile back was way worse.
Still wondering where the snow they closed schools for is...
Fredericton NB here :) not technically there yet but moving up in the summer. Mentally already there.

It looks pretty bad out there, I'm glad I took the bus today. The whole city goes full retard when it snows like this.
Typical Toronto weather. (Toronto here.)
My section of Bloor and the University grounds were disgusting. Mud, everywhere.
It's pretty chill up here in Iqaluit.
What's that green stuff
A few days ago we got a small snowstorm, got 2 or so inches of snow, and then it rained afterwards. Now there's this green shit everywhere.

Yeah I felt the same way when I moved to Victoria from Winnipeg. Its probably the rain, it can be depressing.
Place me on the list as Winnipeg, please.

Done.
[editline]1st March 2013[/editline]
I've done some more thinking about a Halifax meetup. Weekend in July, camping in a campground in the city, so we can have that camp facepunch feel. I'd be accessible by bus, so we'd have no problems getting everyone around the city.
Ohhey I appear to be listed as a non-canadian living in canada :D
