Personally, Conservatives. Many people here will disagree with me though, and I know my opinion isn't a popular one among youth.
As much as it pains me to say this I actually have to agree. If the Conservatives had a different leader than Harper they'd actually be kind of decent in my opinion. I honestly have no idea who to vote for in the next election though because I want Harper gone so that means I can't vote Conservative, but I also don't want to vote Liberal or NDP too badly. I'll probably just go for whichever of the two has the better chance of beating the Conservatives in my riding.

Most of this talk is meant to be about the Ontario election on the 12th. I don't have as much of an issue with Harper's Tories as I do with Hudak's. The Liberals have been fucking us for a decade, the NDP have a snowball's chance in hell of winning and I hate them, and Tim Hudak is a Tea-Party Republican, so we're fucked no matter who we get.

Anyone else agree with this? My internet sucks (But it's better than Dial-up).
Sorry about the side-note from the political discussion
I'm on Shaw with a "20" Mb/s connection, which translates to 0.6 MB/s. Albeit, I have a linksys router so no matter what my network is shit.
Yeah my internet is pretty shit. Or so I've heard. It's what I'm used to but apparently other people download things faster and all that jazz, although mine used to be faster than most people's a long time ago for some reason

I'm a little sceptical about that picture. It seems like something someone made up to get likes on facebook or something. After all, anyone unhappy with their ISP will be all like 'I knew it!'
My internet is okay, by the way. I'm surely better off than Australia.

Okay, found the source, there's two people at netflix who said things a little like that:

I used to have 5 down 0.5 up with Primus, now I'm on Bell Fibe and I get 25 down 10 up, and actually get those speeds.
5 up 1 down for me. I see where most of that would come from with most of Canada still being country-side.
at one point i was paying for 120 mb/s down, but only geting 15-20 mb/s
can't wait till we get google fiber in canada
I was fine with my connection in Vancouver. Back at home it's also improved. I just can't connect to my systems externally.
TIL Molson makes a cider. It's not bad, but Keith's is better.
I've tried Cider once. Wasn't too bad, but it wasn't all that special to me. Probably because I grabbed a cheap kind.

I like cider that I can taste the apple in. Shitty cider, and I've had it too, is like drinking Budweiser, it's piss but it's cheap so idiots keep buying it.

I learned recently that Bones made fun of my city. WE'RE NOT THAT BAD I SWEAR.

So I just voted, and my vote was totally meaningless in my riding because it wasn't for one of the 2 most likely to win parties. But I still voted.
I have to vote today within the hour. I still don't know who to go for... Maybe Green Party just because fuck it.
Took the CBC quiz and I got this:

Eh, whatever. I don't pay enough attention to politics to make a better informed choice.

I interrupt this thread to state that i'm visiting Canada somewhere in the next two months (two weeks from whenever my passport finally arrives in the US mail), to visit a long-distance girlfriend
things I should know about canada?

It can get really hot and humid in the summer, contrary to popular belief.

Well this is fucking helpful.
Eh, fuck it. I'll probably go for PC since the Liberals can fuck off, and PC is the only one that has a chance of shoving them out.

I always end up near-centre on these things.

I had to deal with the most garbage internet imaginable for most of my life.
Eventually we switched to Rogers and it has been great for me. upwards of 5mb/sec on Steam, great torrent speeds, 200gb month.
Just got back from voting and I know for a fact that the incumbent PC candidate will probably keep his seat.
EDIT: That sounded negative, oops. I just hope that the election will go well.
I just want Liberals gone. I voted PC.
