First and second year undergrad for engineering is quite important, if you're doing a full bachelors, would recommend you doing all 4 (or 5) years at the same university if possible.

Be prepared to take longer than you expect. I've met many people in higher years in Engineering at my school who have taken 6 or 7 to do their normally 4 or 5 year degrees. I'm personally on track to do my normally 4 year Comp Eng degree in minimum 5, possibly 6.

Maybe it's because I've recently lapsed on my alcoholism and have been drinking heavily lately, or because I've been listening to a lot of maritime folk music [I]while[/I] piss drunk, but I've been feeling pretty patriotic recently. Might even go down to the New Glasgow Armoury and rejoin the militia

I got the job in Antigonish. I live pretty much on the border of the counties. Washing dishes at a pizza place though, nothing fancy. All I could find.

Saw a parade today and got a Beaver Tail.
If it wasn't for the damn humidity, this day would be awesome. Wasn't too bad though, but I'm not going to be able to see any fireworks shows (Excluding the personal ones put on by people still in the village) because both parents have to work early in the morning.
Ribfest is actually doing open liquor in the whole area this year, not just a secluded beer garden.
