I want to laugh at Calgary, but I'm worried if I do it'll hit Toronto next.
The snow is really bad for me, I left a car in Alberta that I need to ship to BC, not wanting to wait till next June.
My roommate figured out how to turn down the heating from 30 celcius to "off". Its so nice and cool now.
AP English and Chemistry I'm not sure why I took two AP courses
Don't worry, as a chemistry major I can confirm how awesome AP Chem is.
I took Engineering. I made a terrible mistake some 4 years ago in doing this, but it's too much down the hole now to switch or give up. That, and I'm not really doing that bad, it's just a bitch.
Anyway, I'm back in Toronto. Anyone want to meet up downtown, perhaps for a drink or two near Yonge & College? If there is interest, we should organize something soon before things get cold.
Sure, when and what bar?
So now that I've been living in the big city of North Vancouver for the past month I have one thing to say: The Lonsdale LRS is a terrible place and you should not shop there. $60 for Burrowing Owl Chardonnay (one of BC's iconic wineries) at Lonsdale LRS, $30-$35 anywhere else. Spend the bus fare and go to the park royal private/government liquor shops, triple the selection, half the cost, and staff that don't just man a till.
Sure, when and what bar?
You guys interested in the Oktoberfest going on on October 3, 4th?
You guys interested in the Oktoberfest going on on October 3, 4th?
Depends if I'm working or not, don't have my schedule for that weekend yet.
God damnit liberals, I get more unsolicited emails from them than CANADIAN PHARMACY.
Who here is ready for SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWW?
Who here is ready for SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWW?
naw. please ship me off to costal bc where i can live in the rainy days forever. [editline]23rd September 2014[/editline] I've visited most Canadian cities, and Vancouver is by far my favourite.
Vancouver is the greatest, I don't know why I came to Rob forsaken Toronto.
Who here is ready for SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWW?
I still need to take my motorcycle test, it can't snow yet.
Vancouver here, we just had a rainstorm. Nothing else to report.
Kamloops here, we just got Vancouver's rainstorm. Nothing else to report.
Toronto here. Nothing else to report.
New Glasgow here, The weather still can't make up its mind. Will check back at later date
Toronto here, I could see my breath this morning, now it's 22 out. Yep, definitely late September.
Halifax here. Weather is lovely and warmer than seasonal.
I'm going to be trying to make poutine sometime this week, since I actually have to cook because my parents are out of town. I can't imagine it being very hard, as long as I don't burn the fries or the gravy.
Got internet installed at my apartment finally. 3x faster than my parent's internet! Woo!
It took me 2 hours to get to school today because the subway flooded and service was down between Keele and Ossington, and the shuttlebus took a solid hour to get between those stations, which would normally be 5 minutes on the subway. I ended up missing my first lecture.
If you ever travel into Richmond beyond the Ikea:
If you ever travel into Richmond beyond the Ikea:
This is abnormal in BC? That's how the highways in Ontario work normally if traffic is actually moving on them.
This is abnormal in BC? That's how the highways in Ontario work normally if traffic is actually moving on them.
Oh my god Richmond drivers are infamous for their bad/aggressive driving. Everywhere else in BC is fine, unless it's the fringe areas along Alberta where the riggers a going 140+ to make it home in an hour. Fucking Albertans....
I think @RichmondDrivers are making mountains of molehills if those dashcam videos have anything to go by. Russia does it better.
I made the poutine I said I would! [t]http://i.imgur.com/Bs1X9B1.jpg[/t] A hell of a lot easier and quicker than rice balls.
