Don't you just love not being able to get to sleep, so you only get 1.5 hours and have to try and survive a day at work on energy drinks? Yeah, me neither. Oh well, tomorrow I go to a buddy's place and get trashed for New Year's.

Oh no! Vancouver is doomed!
RIP Vencouver
Rip in peace
Man that was awesome!
We got a foot of snow in the first storm. Several highways are closed due to avalanche risk and in town all schools AND the university are having a Snow Day.
Edited: We got half a meter now!

Of course not. You can see blue sky.
It was -30 with wind chill the other day, I had to fill my car with gas. Standing outside was probably on the least pleasant experiences of my life
At least the gas didn't freeze.
I'm going for my amateur radio license sometime next week.
For us to be licensed we need to pass a 100 question exam with at least 70% to access amateur bands above 30MHz (mostly 2m and 70cm), to gain access to all the bands below 30MHz we need to get at least 80%.
In the US you need to take a 35 question exam and get 28/35, and most of their questions involve space craft.

Are Canadian licences valid in the US?
Yes, their's are also valid up here.
This thread is so inactive it survived the recent auto locks...
On a side note, I'm stuck in Toronto for the next 2.5 years. Job offer from UK never came :(
You'll find a job soon :)

That's a shame. On the bright side, we can always go to a bar and drink your sorrows away, though.

Oh, it's not that bad, I signed with AMD in Markham. Not nearly as exciting as the position in London (UK).
We should buy everyone in this thread a round of drinks. FP meetup Toronto 2015 anyone?

I'm glad you made the distinction, I would have thought you were talking about London (Ontario) had you not.

Well what about Paris (Ontario), Paris (Texas), and Paris (France)? Which one is it when someone says "Paris"?
france
i'd say the name of the other two if it was in my province/state

London, Ontario is boring until you visit Western, the party school.

Toronto is more fun :v:
