We should buy everyone in this thread a round of drinks. FP meetup Toronto 2015 anyone?
Don't make me drive down from Sudbury. Actually no, that wouldn't be a good idea on the wallet. And driving in Toronto doesn't sound very fun.

Ate lunch outside sitting in the snow with my jacket off in this shit weather cause I was waiting for my friend. I couldn't feel any of my appendages but damn I sure felt Canadian. In other news I've climbed two mountains in Orangeville this past weekend, and climbed another two in Belfountain around a month ago. Tip: Do not climb a mountain when the wind is fucking 35km/h I'd be interested in actually attending an FP meetup one of these weekends, I've still never met another facepuncher in real life and It'd be great to meet you guys
Normally what happens is we gravitate around Angus' apartment and then go find some kind of Asian food to eat and some kind of booze to drink.

I can meet up on Friday for a few drinks. Or Sat.

Ooh a Canada chat. Didn't know we had one of these! Niagara Falls/Welland/Port Colborne/Fort Erie/St. Catharines represent! (Niagara Falls myself, but I've worked in Welland, Port Colborne, Fort Erie and St. Catharines at various times)
We should buy everyone in this thread a round of drinks. FP meetup Toronto 2015 anyone?
I'm down. Never met another denizen of this forum before. It's probably horrifying.

89.9....... I have not seen gas this cheap in a long, long time.
89.9....... I have not seen gas this cheap in a long, long time.
Gas is in the 70s in Hamilton, and I paid 83.6 Saturday in Toronto. I tried to put $40 in my tank, but it filled up before I could.
Sudbury is still at ~092.3, it's always higher here for some reason.
Anyone from Toronto been to that Walhburgers restaurant downtown?
I can't help but feel like a lot of the downtown restauranteurs are enormously stuck up and pompous. As much of a gigantic hipster as I'm going to sound here, I'll still always prefer the hole-in-the-wall places to spots that have tons of blog/news coverage.
Well, it -is- hard to resist the notion of burgers approved by Marky Mark.
The cheap gas is pretty crazy, I was reading that all the boys from Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are starting to come back home because work is drying up on the oilsands. The Irving shipyards and the rigs and plants in Newfoundland are screaming for guys now too. Imagine a Nova Scotia in which Nova Scotians work!!
I don't give to shits where we go really, I just want to talk to people, It's been a while
I can probably spare Saturday night for a meetup.
Saturday night works for me too, I'll be off work by 6.
Cape breton cold as hell
Cape breton cold as hell
Where you at in the Cape Arc? Sydney Mines or some shit right?
Close enough, downtown sydney.

I can also do Saturday. Though when people say Toronto meetup it's kind of vague as to where everyone actually is. Somewhere central-ish (Bloor?) would be best.
Saturday night somewhere after 6pm it is then? Question is...where do we go?
It's downtown Toronto, we'll find somewhere.
I can also do Saturday. Though when people say Toronto meetup it's kind of vague as to where everyone actually is. If we do the same thing we did last time, we can meet up at my place (Yonge and Wellesley) before finding a place to eat/drink.
Heh, Going to Angus house ;D Sadly some issues have arrived so I may not be there :( , I also don't have a phone so all be using Facepunch as communcation
So yeah.... Winnipeg represent? We've got gas at 78 cents a litre? .......yay?
If we do the same thing we did last time, we can meet up at my place (Yonge and Wellesley) before finding a place to eat/drink
Don Mills & Eglinton. Pretty close.
My internet connection has got so unstable that I had to tether to my Rogers phone to get onto Eastlink's live chat. Fantastic. I'll probably have my dad try exchanging this garbage Arris modem/router with a Motorola. The Arris feels like the cheapest piece of crap, hopefully a new modem fixes it. We had a really old DOCSIS 2 Motorola that was connected to the same cable, but was rock solid.
