Guy from US here. Would love to be in Canada, mostly because I hate heat. Even though heat is rare around here, it's still too much.
Guy from US here. Would love to be in Canada, mostly because I hate heat. Even though heat is rare around here, it's still too much.
most of the populated areas of Canada are as warm as the US during the summer. [editline]19th January 2015[/editline] :(
I think Vancouver is pretty mild during the summers while Toronto can be a hot mess.
It was a high of 10 today. Yesterday was a low of -5 and tomorrow has a low of -9. So lots of ice Proba. Also im a Valley guy from NS
Vancouver's temperature variation is between 10-20°C. We consider 70°F a heatwave.

Moving here for the weather wouldn't be the smartest of ideas.

Perhaps you were looking for the Russian Federation thread?

So hows all my fellow Calgarians enjoying the spring weather?
*looks at Toronto traffic during rush hour* Welp, looks like I'll go bum around on campus doing something semi-productive instead of going home right away. My school days in this semester mostly end during rush hour :suicide: It looks like rush hour can start as early as 3 and can end at 8. Doesn't help when there's like 3 collisions on the 401.
writing from the bus To get on green line from dundas I had to take the Southbound train to st.george because there was no space in trains going North. Took me forty minutes to get to yonge-bloor xD. From fucking dundas. 5pm commute is hell. Cold af today too.
I'm in the market for a cheap ($2-5k) car/SUV for driving around North York, none of you folks might be selling a car, eh?
