White Juan was a childhood defining storm of epic proportions that happened back in 2004. Nova Scotia got (at least where I'm from, around Digby area) over 4 feet of snow. We had no power for over a week, supplies were running low and it didn't fuck off for about 3 days straight. It was fucking awesome.
You're from Digby? Right on bud, Truro here [editline]27th January 2015[/editline] Was it really 20 degrees in Vancouver yesterday boys did I read that right or are my eyelids still frozen shut?
I remember Juan canceling a full week of school. that was just unheard of
So apparently I'm going to be Gary's neighbor in about 4 months from now...
What makes it worse is 90% of shit on the internet that you want to buy is in USD.
It's also going to suck for digital purchases too
Some random faggot on some Internet forum called Facepunch that's for 14-year-olds with gas masks
Hi Gary!
If you're going to buy shit of Google Play (apps, books, movies) and you see a price that looks like it's a conversion from USD to CAD, you might want to buy it now. Right now, $1 USD = $1.24 CAD. According to recent calculations on some app prices I was thinking of buying (like Fenix which is $4.49USD), it's $5.06 CAD. That means Google is using an older rate of $1 USD = $1.126948775055679 CAD. Just a side note for anyone that is thinking of buying apps and shit. Google is 12 cents behind.

Storm was a joke really, cape breton has had surprisingly little snow this year
I was all ready for a nice storm. So much for that.
I remember the last time I went to the Sportsman's show was when they cancelled school due to a blizzard. I walked halfway across the Exhibition grounds in that blizzard because I took the Dufferin bus instead of the Bathurst streetcar to try and get to the Direct Energy Centre.
Anyone else getting shafted by the CADUSD exchange rates these days?
It's been driving me fucking insane. I'm trying to do research for my car pc project and I'm already annoyed at how expensive automotive-grade touchscreens are. $229.00? That's a tad expensive for what it is... Add to cart, calculate shipping, convert to CAD... AND BOOM IT'S NOW $345. $390.00? Fuck that's pricy, but it's exactly what I'm looking for... Add to cart, calculate shipping, convert to CAD... WTF $547.61? Any chance it will get better in ~3 months?
We're a bit fucked on the exchange rates, it has to do with oil prices (since Canada is an oil exporting nation...)
We're a bit fucked on the exchange rates, it has to do with oil prices (since Canada is an oil exporting nation...)
Welp, I hope I somehow get hired on after my co-op. That would be badass.
Thank you Canadian Healthcare.
