Its lightly raining here.
The entirety of the west coast should just propel themselves off the highest point of the Rockies. Sorry, I'm angry because this FUCKING SNOW and some shitlord LIGHTING A FIRE ON THE SUBWAY made my commute this morning take 2 FUCKING HOURS!
some shitlord LIGHTING A FIRE ON THE SUBWAY made my commute this morning take 2 FUCKING HOURS!
Someone's been browsing Tumblr too much.. But really, wtf, a fire. The fuck was that person thinking.
Someone's been browsing Tumblr too much.. But really, wtf, a fire. The fuck was that person thinking.
I don't know if they lit it on purpose or if they threw shit on the track instead of in one of the many goddamn garbage/recycling cans on transit, but either way there is someone to blame behind the fire. I could smell it down the tunnel at Runnymede all the way from Jane, and that's a fairly long stretch of tunnel. Because of that I walked to Keele in the snow just in time for service to resume and to wait another 15 minutes for far too many packed trains to go by, after which I gave up, walked to Dundas West, and took the 504 all the way to Yonge.

My basement apartment windows are now officially snowed in, I can not see the outside from in here
Its currently not raining in Vancouver. But now I'm going to Naniamo, land of car dealerships.
Its currently not raining in Vancouver. But now I'm going to Naniamo, land of car dealerships.
The island feels like one big provincial park. It's really nice when it isn't raining too much, haven't been back there for...since '04-'05?
Never have i ever had to shovel snow off the roof... until today
Snow here, snow there, snow up to my knees, snow in my socks. I love the snow (Except in my socks, that's cold as fuck).
It hasn't snown once in vancouver, and my snowboard is getting bored. Can you people lend us some of yours? 10 months of monotonous 10 degree grey is getting pretty old

Man, I forgot about roll up the rim, won a coffee first time. Not bad.
This kid tried to start a fight with me today and the amount of times he said "Eh?" I swear, I was like wtf
Did you give him aboot?
Did you give him aboot?
I tried avoiding the fight since I don't like to fight and he kept provoking me and then tried to hit me and in a flick of a second I dislocated his arm and I didn't even know I did it... My mind did it without me thinking about it so when the kid was on the ground crying I was confused
WHERE THE FUCK IS THE SNOW? Guess what coast I'm on!?
Its raining so hard I wish I had a rain jacket.
I've won 3 coffees so far. Last year I got a total of like, 2. All this luck means I'm going to win the Camry. Then I'll sell the Camry and get something that doesn't scream "Look at me! I'm borrowing my mom's car". The 2015 Toyota Camry: For those who want to be pedestrian, without actually having to be a pedestrian.
I like how they're marketing it as the BOLD new camry as well. It's the same fucking car underneath and the boldest thing about it is that when you buy one you're almost deliberately saying "i give up and i don't care any more". Then they add stupid little GT shaped flaps to the grille as if it'll make it any less of a front wheel drive fartbox for fat loafers, pre kid soccer moms in training and grandmothers who keep boxes of tissues on the back shelf

Anyone who might see it and think "Maybe they made it less of a completely bore to drive, I might check it out" and go so far as to test drive one will realize "Oh, it's the same boring car with a new look, Bluetooth and more blindspots".
I find it interesting that there's more prizes in rrrrrrrrroll this year than there are people in Canada. Does rrrrrrrrrrroll get done in the US too?
Dunno if it's like that everywhere else in the USA or I just got unlucky but whenever I went to the USA and felt like having some Tim Hortons soup or sandwich, I was disappointed as fuck because it was legit nothing but coffee/donuts/muffins.
Canadian FP'ers, question! I want out, and I'm wondering how's the job market for Sysadmins in Canada? I'm currently a mid-tier Linux Sysadmin with 3+ years of experience, with a Bachelor's degree as Systems Analyst. However, I'm kinda looking to get out of the IT field and I'm willing to work just about anywhere over in Canada or get a foot in the door, as long as they sponsor a visa. Been browsing Kijiji for the last couple weeks, looks rather weak from there. Any advice, guys? Thanks in advance, folks :D
Holy shit, the snow.

Not a lot makes it on kijiji esp for higher level work
Check SysAdmin postings on other job sites too, like Stack Overflow etc

We'll see how this goes, thanks a lot!!
Glass door, linked in also has postings I believe.
Well, I hope I don't have to drive anywhere for a while. My car is completely snowed in
Oh interesting. When I move into a detached house with a car, I'll need to shovel the drive way in the winter... Totally forgot that drawback of suburban living...
