I still think it'd be a bit rude to get Polish citizenship when I can't speak a damn word of the language just so I could travel/work in Europe as much as I want.
Well, that and from what I hear everyone hates Polish migrant workers in Europe, which is what I'd officially be.
Having English parents is great for working in Europe.
I think I speak English good.

It is, but being a "Polish" migrant worker, from what I've heard, isn't, and officially, that's what I'd be and what I'd have to apply as. It's be really funny, though, and I think kinda rude as well, if I did without speaking any Polish.
Or did you mean English as in from England, not as in natively speak English?

Well, my hopes have been crushed. Im in the same boat as you :v:
Though i understand quite a bit of individual polish words and expressions..
Honestly with the way the EU economy is and how all the free movement between the poorer and richer states ends up up depressing wages, it's not even really worth it to go over for work. You're gonna end up making 2/3rd what'd you make in Canada, you're going to get taxed more, and the cost of living is going to be higher.
Unless you're in banking or something, you can generally find better things on this continent.

It was never something i considered seriously, its just fun to think about.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is so fucking pretty. Also, Niagara Falls is still awesome and I got really wet.
Also, I got sunburned again and a little drunk.
Today was a good day.

I have not seen Niagara in 16 years. I've heard it's changed a lot
My grandparents are British and my mom has duel citizenship. Does that mean I am eligible for British citizenship? If so, does that mean I am a second class citizen? This thing is confusing.

I went to Niagara a year ago and it was my first time going in over 10 years and it definitely changed. I remembered this big field, almost like a park leading up to the Skylon tower with nothing in the way.
Nowadays, there's shit ton of buildings in the way and you can almost barely see the Skylon tower and it looks so rusty and decrepit, it's kind of sad. Niagara is still great fun though. I went there almost every summers in my childhood, people speaking English was so fucking foreign to me though. Thought everyone was speaking gibberish.

I'd say to look into it more than the SH thread did where they didn't check who the source was and immediately started shitflinging at face value. A lot of that was fear mongering and it's republishing year old news by tabloids and blogs and reaching the worse conclusion possible.
So the TTC hit a new low in shitty service today, the entire subway was down for an hour because of communication issues.

Gotta say, that free day was pretty sweet.
If only I didn't have a month's pass :v:
Can confirm, Montreal's subway shuts down every other days.
I don't think there's been a day in my entire lifetime that the TTC has had a day with absolutely no delays on the subway. I remember two Mondays in a row missing class in the winter and having to walk several kilometres in -20 degree weather because the subway wasn't running to my stop, and the shuttles were inconsistent and cramped, so I walked to the stop they were running at.
During the Anime North weekend, the subway that travelled down Yonge street and to a bus that connects to the convention center / airport was shut down for "Signal Repair / Boosting" whatever that is.
According to the news, the subway was down this morning as well? And some taxi app banked in on that, tripling their prices.
It isn't a major city unless the cabbies try to rob you blind.
Animaritimes is coming up! Is anyone visiting Freddy for it?
Sorry, Rhenae. I'm glued to Toronto for now.
Its a lovely non-rainy day in Vancouver.
Its too hot, bring back the rain.

That's because it doesn't rain in the winter, silly. That's the point of winter.

Pretty cool, I was just going through their laser cutting service which is already open for something and I noticed that.
You are not truly from southern Ontario unless you remember one of these places.

It almost looks like one of those recreational centers as a Vancouver resident I wouldnt know how to properly identify them as they are nigh nonexistant here.
But seriously there is not a hell of a lot to do in Vancouver.
Y'all remember when they used to have Pingu on between programs on TVO? Apparently they banned the Walrus one because it gave kids nightmares. On the other hand, I always loved that episode.
