Oh right, I had some images from my Centreville Island visit that I could stitch together. Should go to sleep first though...

Sleep is for the weak and the sober.

You ruined the KD :(
I haven't had KD in years
Moving to this shithole is the worst mistake my family could have made, both me and my mom are miserable.
I'm stuck working a minimum wage job to pay my bills and I want to go back to school but I can't because only working weekends wouldn't give me enough money to pay my bills and my school and I might not be eligible for monetary support because my dad actually makes a very good amount of money but doesn't make enough to help me much after all his bills are paid too.

Try and apply for osap regardless of what you think.
(I assume you're now living in a place where you can actually get osap or something equivalent).
Still in Quebec. Thankfully tuition isn't very expensive in Quebec but it's still not like I have thousands laying around for the sole purpose of paying all my bills and school for the following years.
One big problem is the place I live in has a REALLY bad transit system which means a car is mandatory and that means some pretty hefty monthly payments to make.

Tuition in quebec is still the cheapest in the country.

And?
And?
I wish I could pay as little for tuition as they do in Quebec, then I'd only need to work my summer job and I'd still have a ton left over. Fucking $10,000 Ontario tuition.
It would be really awesome if some TTC bus lines had express bus service all day.

Honestly it would be killer, it sucks that all of it just ends up with you having large amounts of debt.

If I could be paying half as much as my current tuition, I'd be pretty happy.

I have no debt, but no free time because of all the work I do. I work a part-time job during the year and a full-time job during the summer on top of keeping the part-time job. There was one point I worked 4 60-hour, 7-day workweeks in a row, and one point where I almost worked a 60 hour, 7-day after a 68-hour, 7-day workweek until I basically told my manager to give me a day off that week or I was quitting. Surprisingly for a retail job, I got the day off.
I could afford the tuition in Quebec with only one of the two jobs, and still have money left over. This is why I honestly had no sympathy for the student protests there where they were complaining about a tuition increase.
Yeah that's probably one of the few things I'm happy about living in Quebec, the cost of education is stupidly affordable. At one point I had this phase where I kind of dreamed of going to University of Toronto but isn't that shit like 20k? Like what the fuck.
I'm looking to major in this networking thingy and from what I remember, for 2 years in total it will cost me sub-3000$.
I'll have to keep working this soul-crushing job for the next year though, I need enough money to be able to cover 2 years of payment of my car and various other bills and I can't seem to find anything else for the life of me, the job market is atrocious right now in Quebec.
But shit, at least I'm not paying like 20k for school.
I'm paying about $14k/year for tuituion at UofT, but it did help me land a $48k/year internship that lasts 16 months.
Even McGill and Concordia which are both considered very good universities I believe are what, sub-5k? Something like that.
I'm kind of hyped, I was having a huge down, borderline suicidal because let's just say that moving crates of bananas in a supermarket is not exactly a gratifying job and that I can't find anything else hurt my soul and that I'm also a lone wolf which while what I prefer isn't always what I want.
But now that I know I'll be able to improve a bit in my life by going into networking, I feel better. Seems that Programming and Networking have similar salaries but programming isn't for me I think, I've always liked networking more.
I looked online and it seems that the salary for what I'll go in is able to go up to 150k/year which is amazing, I'm just happy that I'll be able to make more than minimum salary, not even looking for 6 figures, just knowing I'll be able to live and work something more gratifying makes me happy.
I always wanted to be a sysadmin because I heard it pays really well so I guess now the dream will become a reality in a couple of years.

sexy?
I've always figured that I was in that awkward inbetween where I'm good enough that my French accent is not really apparent but not good enough for a perfect English accent and that it makes me sound weird.
Hey guys!
I just arrived in Toronto last wednesday with two friends. We'll be staying here for a few months.
We are looking for apartments now, so if anybody hears something about apartments, basements or whatever open for rent, would be cool if you could let me know. Thanks!
So far I like it very much here, Toronto is awesome. Just went to the CN tower last night, the view was amazing

Buuuut, enjoy the last few days of green while it lasts, in a month or so from now, everything'll be greyish.

In a month? Did you see this morning?

I couldn't see a block ahead this morning with all that fog. Not often you see that.
