they took out the star system which stopped me from going there

I use it for watching LPs.
Speaking of which, now autoplay doesn't continue in full screen, it closes fullscreen, loads the new page, and plays at a lower quality.

Is that the big assed banner that appears at the bottom of the screen after you like a video? because that thing annoys the shit outta me. and the playlist box at the bottom of the screen too!
Youtube sucked as soon as they changed the channel designs.

YES. And when you accidentally click it on a slow computer, jebus man.
i remember when youtube used to be good :sigh:
I don't really see why it's bad now
They do like to make these little changes that are sometimes unhelpful but I don't think the new graphics or like/dislike rating system made it a bad experience to browse the site.
Youtube is fine
God damnit, I hate you :google:
You love Google shut up.
I actually don't think its that bad this time.
just to annoy us
mhm
I would say they changed it to remove the facebook logo from the "share" button. a lot of google staff have been leaving lately to work for facebook. so they've used the opportunity to also try and streamline the layout a bit.
God damnit, I hate you :google:
I hate this design. Fuck google, I dont give a shit if it goes. Then ill use Bing

Fix'd
I've had this for a week.
To make it worse, Youtube Insight doesn't work anymore for me, it keeps getting stuck and reloading infinitely. I'm the only one?
Someone important at Google woke up one day and realized "hey, we're the crux of the internet - let's troll EVERYONE!"
What was the point of this update anyway? Make it smaller? Because it's still not exactly user-friendly: but no, they wouldn't be trying to do that anyway..
they took out the star system which stopped me from going there
i have never gave a rating of 2, 3, or 4.
it's better.
They should make it where you could rate youtube, i bet everyone would rate it 1.

it doesnt show it when looking at videos the star is a better way of showing a percent

Is the mod afraid of dicks or something ? that was quite unnecessary.
And YouTube was ruined a long time ago, i don't really care when they change stuff again.
Making the ratings colored gives them actual meaning, previously they were two ambiguous gray bars, and not all cultures would recognize the top bar as the positive one.
There was no reason to place the other buttons in separate justified sections when the sections had no significant meaning. Keep all the controls in one place.
The views section didn't have any extra information to store in a dropdown. Why give it a dropdown button?
The ordering of the two sections is better this way because it puts the controls for the video closer to the video than the description, which when expanded could grow and further separate the controls in the old version.

It's better design. Why don't you want it? Honestly, anyone who thinks the new design isn't better than the old one doesn't understand what they're talking about.
The complete YouTube overhaul that's been happening since last year is bullshit entirely. Perfect example of a website that gets drunk with power, ignores their users, and watches their profits increase.

Youtube was a pretty shitty community site at the start though, it never had the brightest users.

What? what is wrong wi *searches on google image* FUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Personally I think youtubes comment system and a few other thing are really ugly.
The old look represented the proportions of good and negative ratings better.

Use opera, it is normal google images on it.
I think it's a lot more natural in finding where everything is. I like it.
