Firstly, the pointless stuff. I rated the video winner because crime was stopped. Now for what I think about this video and this particular incident. When you get mugged it's always the safest course of action to comply with the robber's demands. The cop was just doing his duty trying to stop the robbery. If the criminal didn't point his gun at the cop who knows how it would turned out. As it stands we shouldn't be surprised the cop fired. After seeing so many videos were cops use extensive force this incident was handled the best way it could have. I wish the robber surrendered but he didn't and even possibly took a life instead. I don't care what his reasons were to mug the biker, his actions afterwards (pointing the gun) led to only few ends, none of them good. Video seems to be gone so I can't check again but I was hoping to see an ambulance arrive but it didn't in the duration of the video. [del]Is it certain he died?[/del]

I agree with rusty it's all about perpepective, and how much you know about the situation. But than again if someone were to steal anything from me I would kill them and fuck there body. This even includes a chocolate bar to a gay motorcycle. Doesn't matter in my eyes I'm just a wolf that's protecting his stuff, I was made fun of in high school. In the end you should have empathy for human life that's what rusty is trying to say, and you guys are rating him dumb for having a different view on a topic. He has a reasonable stance and so does the other users, maybe it's not black and white. But like I said before I just don't give a shit and I'm one of those fuckers who would shoot someone for stealing my jokes, and yet I'll ride in the sunset with a stolen bike. I'm the best of both worlds.

People wouldn't be so hostile towards you and your points if you had actually watched the video first before going on a rant and not started spinning out the idea that the gunman has some tragic backstory. There are criminals out there who just choose to live these lives, not everyone does it because they have no other way in life. It is a fact that preservation of life is essential and yes anyone who debates that is thick as pig shit and yes the outcome of this event could have been much better but the robber knew full well what he was getting into. His death was somewhat tragic but not nearly as tragic as the potential death of the biker or officer could have been.

OK- For the ones that understand JACK SHIT about the reality of Brazil, in São Paulo (city where that happened) motorcycles like these are employed by these people in order to carry out hits, these are mostly never sold. Rusty, I think you assume way too much about what could and what could have not happened. Those things don't matter because what's done is done. You can't use "Oh, what if the gun wasn't loaded" or "What if it's just an airsoft gun with the tip painted black" because in situations like those where your life and personal possessions are in danger, someone is bound to get hurt or killed.
