Why does Rusty never complain in like, SH threads about innocent people actually getting murdered, and only complains about incidents where criminals get killed while attempting to commit a murder? I see it happen as if right on cue every single time a thread like this comes up, and he literally admitted to not even watching or reading about this one before he started his usual tirade. I bet I could post that scene from Reservoir Dogs where the dude gets shot trying to steal a car, title the thread "Carjacker gets shot" and he would show up within 5 minutes to remind everybody that refusing to be taken advantage of is wrong and claim that Mr. Orange was unarmed and innocent in that scene because he didn't watch it.
yes. you can replace your stuff but you can't replace someone's life
Are you seriously saying to not stick up for yourself? Whats your is yours earned through your effort. Not to be taken by some punk regardless of his situation. There are always better alternatives than robbing somebody. If you're stupid enough to try it, then you better be willing to pay the price should it fail.
If someone is pointing a gun at an officer, and that officer feels that he may be shot, then he's going to shoot whether or not the other guy has fired yet. Especially in that close of distance.
Why are there so many people here cheering on the death of a person?
They're cheering the triumph of good over evil.
They're cheering the triumph of good over evil.
Though it sounds corny as hell, this is pretty much what everyone is cheering for.
They're cheering the triumph of good over evil.
sorry to burst your bubble but nothing is ever that black and white
sorry to burst your bubble but nothing is ever that black and white
If there was ever an incident in which someone was clearly doing wrong, this would be it.

This is supposed to be common sense.
They're cheering the triumph of good over evil.
If you're being serious then you have either an extremely niave or disturbing point of view.
If you're being serious then you have either an extremely niave or disturbing point of view.
That man forfeited his right to a peaceful existence the second he put a gun up to an innocent man's head.
Whizzing through this thread I couldn't help but notice the sincere amount of people say shit like, "ur point of view is disturbing and u should get a doctor to get that checked out" in the event that somebody disagrees with their opinion. I don't really see a debate, I don't really see any common sense in here. What I see are people pulling this wild shit-fling card while basically saying that you're a "terrible human being". In the event the officer didn't pull the trigger, and died, nobody would be having this discussion. It'd your a-typical day on facepunch. The posters that I already see frequenting this thread that lurk around SH, should go spend more time sympathizing over the loss of human life, rather than trying to make the daily-edge quota. If you're majoring in liberal arts (believe me there's people here who are actually doing this...) reconsider your major.
I'm honestly surprised that this thread hasn't been locked yet with all of the flaming going on.
Some people are defending the robber, I tell you he should be dead. As this guy said many times:
This guy wasn't robbing because he needed it. Anyone defending this case in particular is very wrong. I can tell you that thieves here are not robbing to feed their families or something like that. They're robbing because they can't stand having an honest life. They can't buy nice clothes, sunglasses and bikes by working hard and honest here.
The robber most likely wasn't very poor, in need of food or shelter or anything like that, he was robbing because he wanted to. Here in Portugal we have gypsies, they have government provided housing, the houses are actually very modern and big, for free. They have free schooling, food everything is provided for them. Yet they don't go to school, they fuck up their houses, make their neighborhoods a fucking shit hole and they'll steal your shit at knife point, because they want to. A specimen: [thumb]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YIrAsoLHVP0/US-0VQ2BmSI/AAAAAAABMHM/TkDtlAIBDX0/s640/Claudinei+Batista+Ribeiro-+cigano.jpg[/thumb] He wants your phone and your wallet. In Brasil, they have it 100x worse. You'll probably get killed in a robbery, just because. They learn at a young age to rob, because their parents rob too and everyone they know rob too. The meaner the better for them. As the guy I quoted said, they can get shot, arrested, what ever, When they get back they'll do worse. That guy should be dead.
I think the loss of life is tragic but it's an extremely naive (and privileged) point of view to say, "Stuff doesn't matter/isn't worth fighting over." I actually used to have the same viewpoint. Thought, if someone were to try and take my car or something, I'd just let them because it isn't worth getting killed over. But that's when I had money, I was decently well off, I would have been able to recover from the loss. Now I live paycheck to paycheck. Losing my vehicle would mean missing at least a few days of work, which would mean not being able to pay rent. I don't make enough to crawl out of that hole so I would either end up on the street, couch surfing, or have to move back home with my parents. It would completely ruin my life, I would be royally fucked. My vehicle is my livelihood, and these days I would totally throw it down and put my life on the line to make sure nobody takes it from me. Maybe that doesn't make sense to someone like Rusty who has probably never struggled financially in his life. I don't expect it to make sense. He doesn't understand that, for plenty of people in these less well off areas of the world, their vehicles are their livelihoods. Losing a vehicle could easily mean losing the roof over the heads, the food in their stomachs, everything. Nobody "deserves" to die, but at the same time it's stupid to think people aren't going to be willing to kill in order to preserve their own livelihood. Regardless, the robber waived his gun at a cop and got caps busted in his ass. Doesn't even matter what crime he was committing, whether it was robbery, vandalism, whatever. Pointing a gun at a cop is asking to get shot, plain and simple.
This wouldn't have happened if the robber had a gun. oh wait..
If someone is robbing you at gunpoint than the best thing for you to do is to just give them what they want. This is supposed to be common sense.
Why does Rusty never complain in like, SH threads about innocent people actually getting murdered, and only complains about incidents where criminals get killed while attempting to commit a murder?
because there arent a hundred people rating winner and cumming their pants at the sight of a fresh kill in those threads
I had to watch the part where the cop comes out a few times to figure out where he came from. Dude was quick to react and sneaky as fuck.
sucks that the kid died and all but that's what happens when you decide to be a fucking dumb ass and rob someone with a gun in a public place.
because there arent a hundred people rating winner and cumming their pants at the sight of a fresh kill in those threads
Yeah, usually instead they're all crying out for the offender to be hung by his balls from a street lamp until he dies or something and then rating each other winner. Where is rusty to protect the poor criminal who everyone has a blood-boner for there?
The way I see it is if the robber didn't want to die then he shouldn't go around pointing guns at people. I rather have the guy off the streets possibly killing people then just letting him go free. Not that I would ever kill someone but I certainly would defend myself.
Lol if you watch the unedited version some other random dude walks up with a pimped out pistol afterwards.
sorry to burst your bubble but nothing is ever that black and white
Yeah well in a situation when someone is stealing a bike at gunpoint there really isn't much time to ponder about the relativity of moral value
Why is rusty still aloud on this website, all he ever does is crash threads and de-rail the fuck out of them
So ill start off by saying you're all stupid and I love you, because I too, am stupid. Look at it this way. Someone steals your shit you worked hard for. Some people say shit is more valuable than human life in certain scenerios, while others say human life is ALWAYS more valuable than shit. I say that human life is worth nothing and so is shit. So you want your shit back? Got a gun? Shoot the dude, take said shit back. Or don't. Either way, the world keeps spinning while not giving a fuck. Value only exists in the mind. You are no better than the robber, the robber is no better than you. You are no better than a motorcycle, and the motorcycle is no better than a pile of shit. We whine and cry in our little puppet show, while the universe just keeps on keepin' on. I doubt anyone will take this seriously, so there ya go.
ITT: Rusty once again flexes his idealistic muscles and is beaten for incompetence. How is this guy still a mod?

imagine being so disconnected from reality that people dying is perceived as cool
People are not equal. People can and should be judged by their actions. If someone doesn't go around robbing, hurting innocent people, then yes by all means they are better than those who do. [editline]13th October 2013[/editline] Nobody is perfect, but that does not mean everybody is equal. [editline]13th October 2013[/editline]
imagine being so disconnected from reality that people dying is perceived as cool
Literally nobody is saying that people dying is cool.
