That seems stressful to me. I might be misunderstanding but it sounds like you're in a constant hell of trying to compartmentalize and label aspects of your personality rather than just accepting everything as a part of yourself. Everyone's an abnormality, its ok to be weird and not have words to describe it.
It really has nothing to do with "trying to compartmentalize and label" your whole personality.
More that it can be a constant hell trying to explain your feelings to people in a jumbled mess of words that leaves you feeling like you'll never feel comfortable with yourself or able to easily express how you feel. Then you find something that instantly clicks and makes you feel like you're not crazy.
Suddenly you don't feel like an outsider, suddenly you can actually tell people how you feel and you know how to find people who feel the same way.
It can do wonders for self-confidence and general mental well being.
whatever works for you
came across a trans person on okcupid and she's wicked attractive and we're an 83% match and I don't know what to do.

If you think it might be a good relationship for you, I would prob try to not worry about explaining it to others. (and tbh she will probs be able to help you with that anyway, she's got the experience haha. Or PM me if ya like, I'm trans (ftm tho) and my bf and I have been dating for years even before I transitioned so I can help if ya need it.) If your interested no harm in sending her a message to see if its mutual, the rest goes from there
Today was a surprisingly good day. I went for a run on the campus. Had music class today and I'm finally seeing it paying off. I'm starting to feel confident about singing and I'm having a lot of fun with it right now! Aso, I completely shaved my beardwhich made me feel way more confortable with my appeareance right now. It's incredilte when you get a shot of cofidence in the arm after being defeated for almost 6 months. It's like things...finally start working
Hey everyone, just coming here with an issue of semantics.
I'm not sure if I'm heterosexual and biromantic, or just bisexual without a complete interest in sex with another man.
I'd have a relationship with another man, cuddle, kiss, all that stuff, but I have zero interest in sex. Meanwhile I would have sex with a woman. Would this make me biromantic?
I've found myself in the same situation, where I know I LOVE guys but also girls if they're a certain type. I've tried to label myself ("bi" is probably right), but the acceptance that sexuality works in weird ways was oddly freeing.
I've sent dozens of messages on various online dating sites and I've gotten a total of 1 person to reply. I can't be that ugly.
Having labels also helps you meet people of similar persuasions who can relate to your likes/dislikes/issues/stories. It gives you a small community to communicate with.
I'd be all for freeing yourself from labels but I need the support of like-minded people sometimes and those labels help me find people like that.
This, oh my gosh this, thank you. I'm sorry I just figured based on the first reply to that post people around here weren't all that into labels.
I think for now I've agreed on biromantic with myself, if anything it cuts the explanation time down.
I got my [sp]cage[/sp] today

Another 2 job apps declined.

Were these interviews or just putting in your resume?
Were these interviews or just putting in your resume?
Resume. I've been getting the usual spiel of "Your resume is impressive, but we are looking for more qualified applicants." Even got one of those for an app that claimed that experience wasn't even required.
It might be because of the gap time-wise on your resume, some employers get antsy when they see a lot of empty space and assume any number of things, unfortunately I've got no real advice other than the cliches and to keep on doing it
Is there a high demand for the kind of work that you are applying for? Where exactly are you applying, Nashville? It might be up to the law of averages man. Don't give up the fight.

I'm looking for anything in Pigeon Forge, problematic because most of these jobs are looking for kids that are still in school. I'm not using that much discretion because the job market isn't the greatest right now and really any job that I can find that doesn't involve heavy lifting would be alright for me, since my back problems have been flaring up again recently. I don't have a whole lot of room to be picky.

Hmm. Anything in Gatlinburg or Sevierville? I know that the Smoky Mountain Knife Works is about 20 minutes north of Pigeon Forge, I would always make a stop by if I was in the Pigeon Forge area, perhaps they have something?

I've found that a vast number of people online are batting way above their weight and looking for Mr (or Mrs) Perfect, despite the fact that person almost certainly exists. Keep at it though, my partner messaged me about an day before I was about to give up.

Just from what I've seen so far, Maryville/Alcoa are right now where a good concentration of openings are. Ofc that's a bit of a distance from where you are but trust me I'm looking in that direction too b/c west Knoxville is dry as a bone right now. v:v:v

I don't even get feedback. It's just silence.
There's a job at Universal Studios that I'd love to have but I don't have the experience required. Sucks! But I'm gonna be exploring it for the future.

This is it though. It'd be super fun.

Honestly try anyway, the job I currently have required experience in a related field, and I had no professional experience of any kind. But I was able to talk my way through the interview using the solo stuff I'd done for people as examples
I would but I'm not even in Orlando right now lol. I live in South Texas. I'd probably have my resume tossed out immediately since any experience I have is literally stuff I've done while learning things for the first time in school.
Wouldn't even be able to get to the interview unless it happened to be anywhere between Sept. 20-25 because I'll be there on vacation but that would be the longest shot lmao.
But I'm just keeping it in mind for the future.
