ok on the left if you didn't know
We all had the suspicion that my brother would come out of the closet eventually... And we were right. I overheard him coming out to our mum years ago (who was the only person who didn't have the faintest idea) and it went; "Mum... If there was a scale where straight was 0 and gay was 100... I'd say I'm about 70?" And me and my mum both said at the same time "...So you're gay, then?" She still jokes around to this day that if she had a third child, it would be either straight or transgender (I'm pansexual) :v:
Making some penis pasta for tonight. Wait, penne. [editline]1st August 2017[/editline] Also pride week in Stockholm, gonna actually visit this time on friday, together with the boyfriend and a friend and their friend's friend yadda yadda. Hopefully it won't be exactly what I expect it to be :v:
I know this is probably the worst possible place to ask this question... but: If you had a kid (through adoption/divine intervention/internet fetishes breaking out into reality), what would you call them? I'd probably call mine Virgil, even if they'd probably hate me for it though most of their school life, (visions of kids drawing a line through the L and writing in an N)

Literally nothing positive comes out of having a name that is unique in any way during school and trying to come up with some ~~special~~ name for your kid is just cruel and can lead to lifetime social issues due to the bullying they're inevitably going to go through.
Something Irish I suppose. But I don't think I'll ever adopt.
Something Italiano to continue my heritage. [editline]1st August 2017[/editline] Like Gianna or Paolo.
Probably Lachlan. Just to be obnoxious I'll change our last name to the original spelling "Mac an Tòisich"

Pretty hard to make a joke out of that one, and I've never been in a class where I had the same name as someone. I'd hardly describe seeking a unique name as cruel so long as you don't do stupid shit
my mom almost named me ivan, not a terrible name and i wouldnt really have noticed it cuz idve lived with it, but im glad she didn't :v

Alright obligatory dick is great post. [sp]Also I love it when my SO gives me love bites, nice reminders throughout the week. I'm not saying a unique name is bad. I'm saying some kind of ~~special~~ name that's meant to stand out is bad. If you stand out then the bullies will notice you sooner and pick on you more. Better to blend in and not get hurt. [editline]1st August 2017[/editline] That said I do have particularly strong and bad experiences with being bullied over anything and everything possible, so I won't try to say my view isn't strongly biased.
Na any name is easy to make fun of, unique or no, kids are both cruel and creative, it makes for a horrible combination, and if it's not the name they pick out they'll just make fun of something else.

I used to get bullied in middle school for stupid shit like "do you like to suck or blow?" (This was before I ever had the talk, etc. I was a late bloomer) and responding with "suck I guess?". Usually I just wouldn't give them the time of day.
When I moved to the UK, I was mad fun of for my american accent. When I moved back, I was made fun of for my British accent and trying to sound fancy (right). When I tried to lose the accent over the summer, I was made fun of for clearly faking my accent since I lost it so fast (or something to that effect) kids up to the last few years of high school are right little bastards
Something Italiano to continue my heritage. [editline]1st August 2017[/editline] Like Gianna or Paolo.
I too would also pick a name to continue my spanish heritage.
Not that I'll have kids in the foreseeable future, although I do love the idea. Blake, if I could, but living in Sweden and having Chilean heritage... I dunno? Augusto? Alfonso? I like A letter names. Sure beats being named BERTIL
I've always liked the name Naomi; dunno about male names tho. Not that I plan on having kids; me and my SO have had the plan of adopting a floofy dog and a kitty as our "kids".
tbh I love all accents I just like hearing people talk??
I've really warmed up to voice chat recently, which feels really nice. I just wish my keyboard were less clacky so I don't feel like I'm annoying the fuck out of people
I hate talking to people since I get all quiet and shy until im really comfortable around them and people can barely hear me so I get teased about it and I hate it so I just dont talk, makes it easy
I really need to work on my voice. I really need it to become much more feminine :(
