qotsa are great what'd you think of the new album
I really enjoy the new album! While I don't think it's their best, it's still great to see that the band has come this far and hasn't put out a below average album yet. I like all the songs, except for "Fortress". If I were to rank the albums now, mine would probably be like this: Self-titled > Era Vulgaris > Rated R > Lullabies to Paralyze = Villians > Songs for the Deaf > Like Clockwork
mine had this exact issue, went away after a few days, but ended up returning it for other reasons
Updating Windows fixed it for him, but now the screen just flickers off occasionally. This laptop is a real piece of junk.
Anybody here want this? Is a digital download of ATCQ's latest album. It came with a vinyl I bought but I wont use it, so feel free to  [t]http://i.imgur.com/K7ML7uJ.jpg[/t]

I had a pretty awful morning which was further increased by a guy almost getting himself killed by breaking the CNC machine. If you guys know anything about CNC, you might realise what happends when it breaks. Basically immovable object meets unstoppable force. The guy drilled into too far and managed to snap not only the drill, but the stainless steel holders for the material he was drilling, sending it all flying into the safety window, making the window fucking explode. Guy got glass in his ear cause he was looking onto the machine display at the time. But if he was looking at the drill he could have gone blind. Or if the window got dented just a slight bit further, he would have been fucking impaled.
Well not moving out with friends, but got an extremely good opportunity for a place in London, so moving there in October. Honestly it's a little terrifying since I haven't moved out of home before and I'm straight up going from Australia to another country, but hey, I may as well make the most of having british citizenship while they're still in the EU :v:

I need to hit up our makerspace for some projects but it's so far away. 30 minutes each way if I'm lucky, flat out over the highway. Killer on gas.
i just got a job at a makerspace which has a cnc mill so that's wonderful to know
Just wear your safety equipment and dont put the axis on -1 mm and you'll be fine I guess. :v:

Also the guy was probably cutting too big a hole too soon (depending upon the material hardness). Did he already drill a pilot hole and gradually step up the bit size or using a step drill bit?

He fucked up by basically allowing it to go further in than it should, causing collision with the blocks holding the material. Oh I was thinking of a CNC mill not a lathe. Yikes that's scary it flew off at such a velocity.
Oh I was thinking of a CNC mill not a lathe. Yikes that's scary it flew off at such a velocity.
Indeed. That's A LOT of spinning per second.
I need to hit up our makerspace for some projects but it's so far away. 30 minutes each way if I'm lucky, flat out over the highway. Killer on gas.
It takes me 45 minutes to drive to work everyday. You'll live.
didn't use this but this album is incredible i hope whoever takes it or did take it enjoys it i really really gotta pick up the vinyl when i can
ikr, its such a good album. Reccomend everyone to listen to it.

Killer on gas.
My sister lives on a farm about 80 KM away from the hospital she works at. Her commute is like 50 minutes if she's lucky and she's raising a kid and animals. You won't even notice the commute after a while.
Just wear your safety equipment and dont put the axis on -1 mm and you'll be fine I guess. :v:
yeah. the biggest thing i'm nervous about is bad shit happening on my watch. the worst part is that it's a university-owned makerspace and they're doing sort of a trial run with it so if bad shit happens like a dude gets injured or the interest is low they'll close it.
Ugh, I've been feeling the end of summer blues. Only six more days till I start my last year of high school. I just hope it's a good one.
The end of the summer always kinda sucks, but at least fall is a nice season with it being a bit cooler and the leaves changing colors.
call me weird but i love when summer ends and i get to start uni again i hate the summer [editline]30th August 2017[/editline] autumn is the best season
Spring and Autumn are my favorite seasons.
I love the early fall here, misty mornings walking to uni everyday when your classes aren't too stressful yet and all the fresh apples is fantastic. Plus it means scarves are justifiable to wear again so lots of cute.
The CNC is automated based on pre-determined coordinates.
I sure hope this is in a makerspace, something like that's bound to get someone fired or an earful from the shop teacher.
I hate the summer. It's going to be above 110 degrees(43 C) all this week and some of next. Our air conditioner can't keep up.

It takes a very special snowflake to do that level of a fuck up on a CNC because normally they'll bitch hard or just refuse to run the job if configured wrong. Plus those things ain't cheap, wouldn't be surprised if they used it as grounds for dismissal if it was job related.

Finally got a job! I'm a barista at a local cafe, seems like a pretty cool place to work and its like a 15 minute walk from my place.
Good luck with the job!
