i have a car, but i don't even have my license yet because the theory exams here are one big gamble and just plain unfair so i haven't succeeded yet
I have a 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder, 2013 Triumph Speed Triple 1050, a 1984 Honda CB700 Nighthawk S, and am going to buy a Kaiser Jeep M35A2 deuce and a half when I get back to the states.
I have a license, and I'd get a car except I never go anywhere and I need to pay rent
I need one. My commute is 30 miles is long. Long Island is so dense yet everything of value is so far away.
I have a license, and I'd get a car except I never go anywhere and I need to pay rent
Same boat basically, I just cycle everywhere instead. Only takes me an hour to get to the next town if I really want to but most stuff is here where I live so I normally just cycle for 15 minutes to the local shopping concourse which has everything. Plus I work locally as well, 20 minute bike ride again. Its somewhat comfy, only thing that breaks out of it is the hour and a half bus trip I take on two days to get to college which is a fair distance away.

They're the black sheep of the 3 and i never hear anything about them
I stopped attending driving lessons because I don’t enjoy driving on the road
I got my licence a long time ago, but I don't have a car. I just use the train a lot or just walk places. Cycling is a bitch because it's really hilly here.
Some cyclists here are so damn rude. They speed along park paths way too fast.
how are third gen MR2's? They're the black sheep of the 3 and i never hear anything about them
They are the most reliable one of the bunch. Not very powerful, but it absolutely sticks to corners. I love that it is a convertible as well. You can throw in a 2zzGE engine easily, and with a little more work you can also do a honda K series swap if you want to make some stupid power. It is slightly cramped in the engine bay but still way easy to get to everything as compared to a compact economey car. I really enjoy mine, and it definitely has its place.
vroom vroom
mroom haha i drive a fast car. renault clio boysss, powerrrr
I used to cycle everywhere then some dickhead pulled out and hit me because he wasnt looking (i was on the road in the designated cyclist lane and he pulled out of his drive without checking before anyone says anything) and now I really dont vibe cycling anymore b/c I don't wanna be that cunt that just rides on the pedestrian path getting in the way but I have to go down some really busy main roads and that experience made me paranoid about it happening again. [editline]8th November 2017[/editline] I do sometimes ride around my block because cycling was always super relaxing for me, but nothing more than that. I can't justify buying a car because parking and gas is gonna cost way more than just getting a taxi/the bus to where i wanna go
I'm just waiting for self-driving cars to be common, basically automated uber [editline]8th November 2017[/editline] You can get everywhere by bike here in the netherlands anyway, or bus/train for longer distances [editline]8th November 2017[/editline] The only problem is cargo.. especially with a LAN party coming up in two months

Otherwise they just look straight through you and it doesn't register.

I don't cycle, but I still appreciate how common bike lanes are here. They're everywhere, from busy downtown Seattle to urban areas and even out to suburban areas relatively far from Seattle proper. It makes driving less stressful when I'm not super on-edge about accidentally clipping a biker or something
mroom haha i drive a fast car. renault clio boysss, powerrrr
Better be a Clio v6 for all the boy racer requirements.
i would definitely cycle a lot more but my bicycle needs maintenance way too often, making the rides themselves unbearable
mroom haha i drive a fast car. renault clio boysss, powerrrr
peugeot 206 here, french brand cars represent

Is it wrong to start dating someone who just broke up with someone?
Is it wrong to start dating someone who just broke up with someone?
eh it really depends there is no black or white with these things but ~generally~ one party will be seen as a "rebound" or maybe the recently single party knew they weren't happy with their previous partner and has been considering a new one for a while who knows
does it still have the lift off oversteer of death that the AW11's have?
No, they widened it and set up the tire stagger and suspension so that it will understeer before anything. It's hard to snap oversteer in it.

Uh ok, youtube deleted one of my playlists for "inappropriate content". Because that makes sense.
Uh ok, youtube deleted one of my playlists for "inappropriate content". Because that makes sense.
wtf they can delete playlists?? why dont they delete the videos from their servers instead
wtf they can delete playlists?? why dont they delete the videos from their servers instead
I dunno, literally on my other playlists it says "one or more videos have been removed copyright blah blah blah" but this one playlist specifically is just TOO MUCH. :v
So after me and my SO have been talking over it for months (and me getting a job offer in the area, crosspost). We both decided that we're ready to move in together! We've felt out each other, have already lived (in short week long bursts) together for a few times in the past, learned each other's buttons and ready to make the plunge! :excited:
